The room was spacious and clean. Had plenty room for my clothes and toiletries. Had my own bath/shower and toilet. Air conditioning unit, TV Wi-Fi, A kitchenette area with a kettle. Balcony with view of the bustling street below. Patong beach was 2minute walk away. I paid under £150 for two weeks stay and thought what I got for that price was value for money.

The shower was short. it had a small hose attached so only came up to my chest and sometimes the Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room.

I've odered this hotel in advance. have paid by cash. price is ok. breakfast is also good as well as other meal in restaurant, , but honesty must admit there are a lot cheap street cafes near by. however if like breast in hotel's restaurant it cost 200b., it's ok. Area: very close to Patong Beach about 5-10min depends which place will choise. 7/11 the same street. very close to bangla Hotel: everyday cleaning, watter free in the fridge-2btls. in my room bed was with two matrazes-inconvinient a bit Stuff are very good, kindness, smile. They even gave me umbrella the rainy day I was walking. I recomended this hotel.

Location was good, very close to the beach. its at one end of the beach, so you can start walking along beach street to bangla road. If you walk the other side also many amenities you can find. Room was clean and decent. Prices very reasonable.

This is one of the hotels where you have to climb 4 floors to get to your room, no elevators. Also the toilet water seems dirty, but shower is okay.

The breakfast was basic but very satisfactory. The location of this hotel is the main attraction, being a minute walk from the world famous Patong beach and 5 minute walk from Bangla Road night life. The staff at the hotel were exeptionally very friendly and helpful in every aspect, that I never experienced in whole my life around the world during my travels. I am already planning my next trip to Amber later this year.

Everything was good, including the price. No complaints at all , the hotel owner Oscar is an Italian chef cooking and providing excellent genuine Italian dishes.

Definitely the best thing at this place was the host. Oscar is a friendly, helpful and entertaining guy from Italy which can give you the best recommendations for massage and food in the town. You should definitely spend a few minutes (or hours ;)) with him, drink a beer or coffee and listen to his stories. The apartment is really nice and has everything you need. It was spacious and with lovely interior. There is also a good restaurant with tasty thai and Italian food downstairs at the lobby (you should try the lasagna made by the Italian chef). A big plus is also only two minutes walk to the beach.

It's 2 minutes walkable distance from Patong Beach and close of many restaurants. Bell boy carried our heavy luggage from car to our room on the first floor and it was a big help. Reception helped us with some travel tips. We wanted to extend our stay but there was no rooms available.

The property is very close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Everything is a short walk which I found convenient and economical as well. Oscar (the owner) is a wonderful host that made me feel like family. As a solo traveler Ive never had a more welcoming and comfortable stay. Oscar and Claudia are from Italy and the recipe’s they serve are authentic and delicious not to mention (secret). The Thai food was also fantastic and all at the same hotel! My extended stay in Thailand has me moving on to other locations but I still return to the restaurant for the Italian and Thai food. Thanks again Oscar and Claudia for such a wonderful experience. I’ll see you soon.

The orientation of Amber is excellent. Definitely a must if you like sunbathing or walks at the beach. A night out at Bangla road? No problem, ten minute walk and you're there. But the charming hoast Oscar and his excellent hotel staff team will accommodate you with four star excellence. But the fifth star is made by his cook. Try the food and be amazed. Be sure to ask for his signature dishes. Ow, for the best prices on anything... Ask Oscar!!!! Our utmost thanks again for this delightful stay. We will be back!!!!! 😊

We had to leave.

Location is great if you want to be super close to the beach, yet not hear any night stuff. Though right on a main road you could not hear it. AC worked well, furnishings and rooms good for the area.

Parking hard - but a crowded place so dont expect it.

The hotel is in a fabulous place for the beach and in walking distance to all the shops, bars and restaurants.

The shower kept tripping and we had to have a cold shower a couple if times. They did fix it when we reported it. But it did trip again a couple if times.
