Fantastic location on Bangtao beach. The hotel is very well set up for kids with a variety of play areas to keep them occupied whether it be whilst you're enjoying breakfast or lounging by the pool. The restaurant/bar area by the beach looked quite new and provided an array of food and beverage options.

Bathroom was a little dated but still worked just fine. Grate around the pool area wasn't the safest or cleanest. Pool looked like it needed a good scrub around the edges but apart from that it was a fantastic hotel.

We were in a deluxe pool view room which was lovely, great size, beds were so comfortable. I’d seen photos before arriving and decided to bring our own hangers to hang more clothes as there wasn’t a huge amount of wardrobe space for all 4 of us. Housekeeping kept the rooms tidy and clean everyday and replenished bottled water. I did think the area would have had a bit more around but there were enough little shops, convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance. Food in the hotel restaurant was mostly great, some dishes were small portions but most that we tried were very tasty. Breakfast had a lot to choose from, all sorts of dishes and options. Was a shame the beach front restaurant was under construction we didn’t realise this before arriving but we could still still by the beach for dinner and drinks. Pool is big and we didn’t usually struggle to get a sun bed. The spa pool was under construction too which we didn’t realise but this didn’t really make much difference to our stay as we could still use the main pool and kids pool. Pool bar staff were brilliant, especially Wut, Fern and Guy, they looked after us really well. Happy hour cocktails from 4-6 was fun, and food at the pool bar was tasty too.

The music on repeat at the pool bar was a bit tedious 😄 the same few songs, occasionally it changed but one is still stuck in my head! Sometimes meals at dinner would come at separate times and some of us had nearly finished by the time the rest arrived, but this wasn’t every occasion.

Amazing choice of breakfast to suit most nationalities. More than enough. Lovely big swimming pools, 5 main pools in the centre and lots of pools around the ground floor rooms. Children's pool toys and inflatables. Play areas for younger children. Music during the evening by a bar. The rear of the resort is right on the beach where there are many beach cafes and bars. The area in this part of BangTao isn't great, some clothes shops a few bars and several massage joints. Numerous massage beds on the beach. Arinara do a twice weekly , all you can eat buffet for 750 baht , which is £19 pp. Starters, great choice of mains and some sweet choices. Arinara is a great family resort with a mix of British, German, Australian and Russian + more clientele. Everyone seemed respectful of another.Staff are amazing, rooms serviced every day, plenty of staff at meal times. There are a few franchise businesses on site where you pay separately for meals and drinks. Walk out back of hotel turn left on beach, there are restaurants and sunbeds (100 baht), first one is great food. Staff are so friendly.

Nothing much really, some of the pillows were too deep, you can get lower ones if you ask. Nothing for teenagers to do. Biggest gripe is the noise from doors, some guests really love to bang a door and at 6.30 am and after midnight it's unwelcome. Some guests get up early and put their towels on sunbeds to claim them at 7am, then you don't see them til 2pm. Meanwhile others can't use them. So don't be a door banging sunbed grabber. None of this is the hotels fault.

We booked a pool acces room, which was huge. The room is really spacious, with two king size beds, a sofa bed, and big wardrobes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wide selection of local and international food at breakfast. Direct access to beach and many nice beachfront restaurants. There are many shops and restaurants nerby. Free parking. Very good hotel app.

The bathroom is a bit too small compared to the room size. The pool in front of the room is nice but nothing special. The big pool needs a little renovation (missing tiles, broken parts). A/C is too much in the restaurant, but you can chose to sit outside. The playground is dangerous and not well maintained. Metallic parts are rusty and sharp. Hotel restaurants are overpriced (as usual).

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. It's close to ALOT of restaurants and shopping. ALOT of night markets around and plenty of entertainment.

The pool really needs maintenance, the tiles are coming off and it's quite dangerous if you slip. Some flooring was slippery, and we saw 2 ladies with broken arms a few days into our stay. They both had slipped on wet floors and hurt themselves. The TV channels are lacking, Netflix didn't work and then disappeared off the TV. Most hotel guests were very noisy in the hallways, absolutely no consideration for other guests. Be quiet signs would be useful and also being told at check in to keep quiet in hallways would be helpful too.

Staff, location and price were great 👍. Restaurant food fantastic, but drinks a little pricey outside of happy hour. Little girl loved the little playarra and kids club staff were amazing with her.

The pool needed work, not as clean as it should be, with algae in the overflow drains with slide and tiles on pool walls, not in the best condition.

Great pool, great beach. Tasty restaurant & Starbucks at the beach. Great facilities for kids! Kids club, playground, pools. Our 5 and 2 year old had an amazing time.

The water of the main swimming pool was really hot. We didn’t like to swim in it, because it didn’t cool us down.

A huge number of pools, swim up bar, next to the beach, close to amenities, close to many cafes, restaurants and so on, very helpful staff (especially the tour staff), 3 different kid activity rooms, you can feed the koi in a huge pond, our room had its own semi private pool (which was amazing).

Beds were hard (but this seems to be standard for Thailand), most of the breakfast foods were not hot enough, no supervision for kids in the kids rooms, tripping hazard stepping out of the bathroom (but this seems like a standard thing), no microwave oven (difficult for babies/kids).

Beautiful hotel and great location. Staff were friendly and always keen to help. Breakfast menu was diverse, fresh and plentiful. The rooms were spacious and maintained well. Cleanliness was good standard and loved the green earth initiative. Kids club room and ball pit was accessible and good for toddler. Beach Cafe and bar situated well with good views of the sea and decent space for lounging. Pools were spacious, clean and well maintained. Evening entertainment when it ran it was fantastic. Especially the Thursday fire show. Yoga, pilates and stretching were great classes, mostly for beginners or novices but good level of guidance, mediation and movement to get into a 50min class. Local area had an abundance of restaurants and massage parlours to choose from that were affordable.

In comparison to other hotels the lounge chairs where limited. Kids club activities were not as well run as they could be. Organised pizza making which was more expensive than buying a pizza on the menu, and the offering was not as advertised. 3 staff handed ingredients and left us to it. Could have been a great opportunity to have staff engage children, offer chef hats like the photos and have a chef show how to make the pizza. Instead we hated the experience and felt like it was a waste of money. Found the earth initiative hard as the cleaner records versus our sigange on the door mismatched and felt like an interrogation of truth. Although resolved, would have been great to have a smoother process.

- Bed and pillows were excellent - Grand Deluxe Pool Access rooms were a great size and air conditioning was very good - Location to Bang Tao beach was perfect. Bang Tao beach is amazing and we loved being able to access it easily - Pool access pool was perfect temperature - Breakfast was fresh and varied - Beach bar was perfect for sunset cocktails - Hotel grounds are immaculate and lush

- The bathroom and balcony to pool access was very tired and desperately needs refurbishment - The water pressure for the shower was terrible. I had to go to a salon to wash my hair because it would have taken half a day to wash it myself - We were there in early May and the two main pools were too hot to swim in, not refreshing at all. We never swam in the pools because it was uncomfortable warm. Our pool access pool was a perfect temperature.
