Nice stay in Phuket 🌴 The hotel was overall pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to reach nearby attractions and restaurants. A special thanks to Sasi, who helped us with all the information we needed during our stay — very kind and attentive. It wasn’t a perfect stay, but everything was good enough for a relaxing few days in Phuket. A solid option if you’re looking for a convenient place to stay.

The staff, however, didn’t always seem very up to date about activities or available transfer services. Luckily, Sasi was there to help us with all the information we needed — she was kind, attentive, and really made a difference during our stay.

Staff were very attentive, Khun Gem was very responsive to our needs and requests and went above and beyond to resolve any issues. Kitchen staff and Chef were very welcoming and accommodating, even making pancakes daily for my son as a special request. Dara is perfectly situated for those with transport in Phuket. We had a van, and found that Dara was great to access all of the island, very central, and close to the charm of the old Phuket Town. The Movie/Hollywood theme of Dara sets it apart from other hotels, and gives it a unique character.

The Dara represents great value. The hotel price point for high season in Phuket is very reasonable. Some adjustments were needed to make our visit comfortable, however; the staff made those adjustments that were necessary for us.

It was right in town. The staff are the kindest. My room was provided with a fridge rather than a minibar… we stored so much food.

Double glazing windows. The sound of traffic could be overwhelming. English speaking associates, staff are nice but forgettable, they work with a structured SOP, so they dont work beyond the standard service procedures. There’s also no side table next to the bed in room.

Breakfast was more or less the same every morning but was still good. Location was good especially if you do not want to be in a noisy area.

Bedding was not changed twice when we requested room service, they just made the bed and used the same sheets and we had booked for a couple of nights but we did not make a big deal out of it as we were happy with everything else. You only get one door key and have to pay extra for an additional one.

The beds were comfortable and we had room service everyday which was great as we got new towels and bottles of water everyday. Staff were extremely nice and accommodating.

The showers weren’t the best as there was no shower curtain so every time we would shower, the water would go everywhere in the bathroom. We can hear outside our room very easily which wasn’t good as we’d get woken up early by people talking loudly outside the room.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, the room was comfortable the facilities were good and the location was close to Phuket town and opposite Phuket Central. The staff were very friendly and super helpful.

Only negative was the buffet breakfast the hot western food section was cold when you went to get it and that made it unpleasant to eat. Need to turn the warmer up.

The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts i have had at a hotel. They provided international breakfast as well as a little bit of thai food for breakfast so if you had a preference you could have chosen. There is a small gym there which is a plus. It is located walking distance from central phuket mall.

The room was nice, clean, with a nice balcony. And also the pool was nice

The water pressure was pretty much non exsistant. Also we wanted to order drinks by the pool at around 3 p.m. and they said they were closed for dinner. I don't know if this was an isolated thing or do they always close so early but it was a minor inconvenience.

location was great, it was walking distance to central phuket mall. there's a cafe and minimart in front of the premises as well. other establishments can be found around the area. staff was very warm and nice, communicating with them was not a hassle since they spoke good english.
