Pong, I’ve finally got round to writing a review. Please read and provide comment if you’d like anything changed. Pensiri House: Room: Very clean (pristine) with ensuite toilet and shower. Furniture: a wardrobe, small dressing table and chair together with a good working order fridge and, a working television (no way!) …which never normally work and, if they do, don’t have any English channels - this room had a working television with some English, German, Japanese and French channels, alongside Thai - handy when experiencing a whole day of consistently heavy rain. Bed: a super-comfortable ENORMOUS king size. WIFi: worked well without problems (not used for video). Aircon: worked poorly initially however, once I reported this to Ang, the owner - she had it sorted within a couple of hours. Refreshments: a kettle is provided with 2 bottles of water per day and tea, coffee, sugar & whitener. Location: although Google / Apple Maps does not necessarily show, there is a little walkway immediately next to the property, leading directly to the beach / bar area within 3-5 minutes. Additionally, a taxi costs 200-300 baht to / from the airport (never disturbed by aircraft - the flight path is at 90 degrees over the water / Naiyang beach. Additional benefit: If you’ve an ailment, a very good physical therapist, called Pong is situated next to Pensiri house - I had a calf problem that he appeared to readily diagnose and treat with lasting benefit (https://m.facebook.com/ThitipongClinic; [email protected]). Downsides: wardrobe storage would possibly be a tad too small for a couple staying 2-3 weeks with brimming-full suitcases although was perfect for me with a small backpack.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, good location close to the beach and the facilities were also really good! This is my second time staying at the property and will definitely be back again.

Everything was nice and the place is near the beach...so perfect choice

The location is brilliant, the staff are friendly, clean towels everyday, floor cleaned and bed made. We stayed there for 4 weeks whilst volunteering at Soi Dog and we were left in peace just polite hello and have a good day when we saw anyone.

Nothing really. Can’t fault it. Only thing (if you want to be picky) the air con was noisy a couple of night and we had to turn it off as it sounded like it was going to break and it was leaking a lot of water, but the next morning it was fine. We found if you keep the bathroom door shut all the time if doesn’t have to work so hard and its fine.

Lovely small family run hotel My second stay here and very happy with everything. Family are lovely. Nothing is too much trouble It's very short walk to the beautiful Nai Yang beach with so many restaurants to choose from. Many right on the beach. So reasonably priced and good. You are offered a discount amof 15% at Phens on the beach as owner is part of this family. Added advantages a Pensiri House are motor bike rental laundry service beach towels and room service that you can scan menu to order. There is not a lift but the owner will bring your luggage up and down for you. The prices are amazing for such a clean friendly hotel !

We only stayed for one night after coming from the airport and going onto the islands, but would have happily stayed longer - it's lovely! Really spacious and very clean rooms. Bedding and towels smelt really fresh. Fridge and kettle in the room. Super friendly people who run it; they were so kind. It's a short taxi ride from the airport and about a 20 minute ride to Bang Rong Pier. There is a really nice beach with loads of bars and restaurants a short walk away. Thoroughly recommend.

Have emailed requesting a room for the end of the year due to building work going on but nobody has got back to me. Booked and paid in advance so would like to know I have the room requested before I book again

I booked Pensiri for 5 weeks to volunteer at Soi Dog Foundation and it was incredibly nice! The room was spacious, I had a fridge and a proper bed and bathroom. My room was also cleaned everyday and I got free water bottles too, which was so nice. The people were also extremely friendly and I just loved my stay!

As I read in the reviews: the bed is pretty firm so be prepared for that. I still had a good night of sleep though! What I would really love is a sign that says “no need to clean, just fresh towels” or something like that. The cleaning staff doesn’t come at a specific time, so sometimes I was in the middle of lunch when they came and you have to leave the room. Maybe a sign would be a nice way!

Close to airport & beach(was like 5 minutes walk). Modern, clean room(was expecting a lot less for the price) I had no interaction with staff(my wife arrived early & checked in, & she checked out) so I can't comment on them, but my wife was happy. I booked here for the price & fact it's close to airport - just a place to crash after late arrival time. Highly recommend staying here.

No elevator, ok if your luggage is light. Only thing I could fault the place for, & for the price i feel a bit rude for saying(I've paid 5 times this amount in Brisbane for a room with no elevator near the airport & this room was far more modern)

Staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. No pool but the beach is two minutes away
