Stunning location, nice and clean rooms. Friendly and great services. Great value for the incredible view of the resort.

Foods and drinks were just okay for the taste and pricey!! Long wait for foods and drinks service. I got outside and explored the area and found an hidden gem (local restaurant) which was called Iaan restaurant 1. It was just right outside of the back gate of the resort. The restaurant was so amazing about its traditional and fresh taste, attentive service, and very reasonable price.

Very beautiful hotel with very good restaurants for lunch and dinner including a fireworks show at the beach.The hotel is quite stretched but the have free transportation between the areas We had a bath tub on our seaside balcony. The hotel has its own pier from where you can book several day trips. Nearby the hotel there are small shops and some restaurants

The pools close at 19.00, as the pools don't have a lifeguard it would be more comfortable to close the pool at 21.00. The hotel sends information via email that you need to book a boat via them. This is not necessary, on Phuket you can also take a cheaper speedboat with more time slots from the Bang Rong Pier, the only disadvantage is that you will need a taxi transfer for 30 minutes.

The views from our room (ocean view 2201) were amazing. Given it's location, it made for an easy walk to breakfast and down to the spa. The room was spacious and staff were great. As we spent nearly a week here, we got to know quite a few of the staff who were surprisingly interns. They were very professional, friendly, attentive and always had a smile. Really lovely people. The hotel is ideal for couples and honeymooners. Very romantic. The quality of the amenities are great. The spa is amazing and tranquil, as well as the different swimming pools. The main one near the lobby appears more appealing to family's whereas the infinity pool seemed more popular to couples and older people (no issues). Complimentary massages at breakfast were great too. To get around the resort, they provide shuttle buses which are fun, if not occasionally a little hairy going up some very steep hills! But still fun. The cost of spa treatments, motorcycle hire, island tours, is pricey (3000+ thb pp for a day's boat tour for example with up to 12 per boat), but don't be surprised given it is a luxury resort and the service provided is nice. We went around the corner to a kiosk and got a private boat tour guide for the day for 4000thb total for two of us. If you're on a slight budget you can get the best both out of the resort and the local amenities in the village next door.

We only really had one issue, but unfortunately this did taint our entire stay. I would not recommend anyone to stay in room 2201 (unless the issue has now been fixed). We had an unbearable smell of raw sewage coming in through the shower. It took 3 days before we were offered a different room, but given it was nearing the end of our stay we decided not to move rooms again ( a lesser nice room due to lots of stairs to get there!) Cleaners came to look at it multiple times, but spraying didn't do the job sadly. Had this not been an issue we would not have faulted the resort. Also, as a general note, try not to get caught out with the shuttle boat to/from Phuket. It's a paid for service, unless clearly included in your booking :)

This place is a little slice of heaven. The resort is beautiful and well taken care of. Great swimming pools, one with an incredible view, the other with an impressive waterfall. The breakfast is good with several different options available. The only downside is regarding the staff. They forgot about my request for my partner's birthday, I try to remember them and they stopped replying on chat. Had to check on them several times which ruined the surprise. In summary the hotel, location and facilities are incredible but if you want to surprise your loved one, keep in mind it might go wrong.

We spent a wonderful time at this resort. The place it’s definitely worth visiting; the rooms are spacious and clean, the view is stunning. Service is very polite and friendly. They also get a pick up and drop off service from Phuket airport which I definitely recommend. The resort offers numerous activities and excursions (I definitely recommend to go and visit the local communities as well as the hotel mini farm). There is also the possibility to do free yoga and Muay Thai classes. We always had food at the hotel and I have to say that everything was great, including breakfast, lunch and dinner! There is the possibility to commission a personalised woodcraft on site - I definitely recommend to do that! We had a perfect souvenir :)

Lovely stay at Santhiya. We booked in low season so were able to get a fantastic deal. Beautiful rooms with incredible views of the bay. Swimming pool was amazing. Food was pretty nice too and great service. If definitely come again.

Some hidden costs eg service charge on everything. Much bigger than we thought - would be worth mentioning you need the gold buggy to get around.

The compulsory speed boat costs that add up quickly for two people each way and should probably just be included in the price for clearer transparency.

Going to this hotel was one of the best decisions we've ever taken. We really loved it. The view was breathtaking, the room was super comfortable, all the decoration is done with so much taste and attention to detail. The breakfast buffet is amazing, with so many great options for all diets. (Lunch and dinner are less exciting and definitely way too western- not very Thai, leave the hotel if you want thai food!). Their staff works non-stop to make sure your stay is pleasant- they have a huge infrastructure and you always find someone to talk to if you need anything. It's absolutely a magical place and I would 100% recommend it.

The compulsory speedboat could be included in the price because there's no other way to get to the hotel, but you have to pay that separately. Wi-Fi is not so stable so maybe not the best for remote work. You need to get a tuk tuk to travel from hotel area to the reception and it's rather steep. It wasn't a problem for us but it might be if you're a bit older or have mobility issues. Also, they use a LOT of plastic to be an eco-friendly hotel. I think this is something they could truly improve at. Finally, beware that it can get extremely hot in Thailand- so the pools are not really refreshing at all. But this has nothing to do with the hotel- just something to keep in mind.

Incredible location, loads of wildlife to enjoy (we could see sea eagles, hornbills, macaques, so many beautiful fish even without leaving the resort), Buffy (Buffalo) the hotel 4 kitten also a major highlight of the stay. Good breakfast buffet. Food at dinner was nice, though not spectacular, with plenty of veggie options. Rooms were beautiful and well air conditioned. Regular (non-chemical) mosquito fogging was a good touch. Spa facilities were lovely and staff there were exceptional. We stayed at the end of May when the resort was quieter, but all facilities stayed open. Good variety of trips on offer.

For a resort which is trying to be eco-friendly, there are a lot of plastics being used - plastic water bottles in the room and at dinner, lunch on one day trip was served in disposable plastic packing, plastic straws in abundance.

Everything was great while at the property

The transfers were difficult and no help from the property. I booked a speedboat transfer in advance, only to learn after booking that they claim I will not make it to the speedboat so I had too book another one myself. And that boat did not go directly to the hotel, but to another port from which i needed to take a taxi. On the way to the new port and after passing the hotel original port- they called and ask if they should wait for me. This was upsetting. The hotel did not help or compensate for this
