First off, THE BREAKFAST! The most extensive and delicious breakfast buffet we had during our entire trip. They have everything, including a loose-leaf tea bar, an espresso maker, a chilled room with meat and cheese, Thai food, western breakfast foods, etc. The hotel does a beautiful job of blending the bungalows and service buildings into the jungle; it is like staying in luxury in the middle of the jungle! Be aware that the property is large and some of the bungalows are a good 5-7 minute walk to the lobby/restaurant; it may not be the best option for anyone with mobility challenges. The room was beautiful, with great attention to detail (like the best-smelling hand soap!). The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. For the price, everything is outstanding.

Children. Specifically babies and toddlers. Nothing ruins a delicious, relaxing breakfast overlooking the ocean like a screaming baby. It would be nice if the hotel had Adult Only areas (i.e. one pool, a specific area of the dining space). It's great that new parents and families can enjoy the resort, but the abundance of young children got exhausting when we, as childless people, were trying to relax and take advantage of and enjoy all the resort had to offer. The onsite food (not breakfast) was pretty mediocre and expensive; had the food been more reasonably priced, we would have been happy to eat there for most of our meals.

Quiet village with excellent service and location. We had 4 near perfect days in Koh Yao Yai Village.

We had specifically booked the sea beach villas at much higher cost as being ON the beach was super important to us. Infact that was the main criteria for our selection. On the day of our arrival we were informed they do not have the villas available due to some construction work, leaving us no choice in the matter. Though they did give us a very nice sea view villa, the disconnect from the beach to our stay mattered a lot and that is why I have marked the stay as 'not perfect'. I wish we were told before so that we didn't feel that we had no choice.

The location and resort grounds are stunning and hard to surpass anywhere in world in my experience to date. The beachside Villa was wonderful and the outside shower a treat. The infinity pool is huge and perfect to take in the stunning location. Breakfast provided plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and eager to make your stay as good as possible.

The food In restaurant for evening meal was only average and let down the overall quality of the resort. There was some weird high pitched mechanically generated whistling sound which disrupted the peace and tranquility of the place intermittently during the day - forgot to ask reception what it was but needs fixing!

This is an amazing place to stay, nicer than some 5 star properties we stayed at on other islands. The infinity pool is huge and silky, and there are two pools to enjoy. The food in both restaurants was amazing and the room was huge with a lovely outside terrace. Overall very spacious, comfortable and gorgeous room. The staff let me use the fitness room before its official opening time and the spa treatments were fantastic.

It seems that for the prices the hotel charges, they should be able to afford £10 a month for a Spotify Premium account. The restaurant and the pool had music blasting from Spotify all day which was unpleasant enough, but made even more irritating by the Thai advertisements which came on every 15 minutes. If you must play music from Spotify, please spend £10 a month on a Premium account to remove the advertisements!!

The natural surroundings of this resort are absolutely beautiful and lush, and it's conveniently located close to the water. From the common areas near the water, guests can enjoy a lovely view of the nearby small islands and fishing boats, adding a charming, tranquil touch to the experience. However, it’s important to note that the beach isn’t particularly attractive or usable due to the tide. That being said, the resort’s pool areas more than make up for this. The pools are well-maintained and offer a relaxing alternative for enjoying the outdoors while still taking in the gorgeous views. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay for those who appreciate nature, stunning vistas, and a great pool experience.

What can I say? It was a dream place. We e joyed so much, we got a huuuuge private villa in the middle of the nature, the entire resort was surrounded by the sound of nature and nothing else. The food was amazing, the staff incredibly kind, everything was super clean and the design of the hotel is really nice! Breakfast 10+…they have everything, so don’t worry! 😝 if you’re planning to go on this island, just book this resort. Trust me!

There’s nothing really bad about this property but I’m sure someone will complain about it…during the day there’s no water if you wanna swim in the ocean. No joking…there will be low tide for almost the entire day…you can still swim but the water will be tray far from the beach. Just this…we didn’t really care about it but I think is better if you know it! 😄 (the pool is really nice too and you can also discover other beaches around the island).

The Resort is beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. Loved having a villa in the forest. Lots of wildlife. The island has not been subject to mass tourism. The restaurant has a great selection of Thai and western food. Happy hour happens 3 times a day. The transfer from our hotel in phuket was really efficient. The speed boat to the island was brilliant. We had a two bed villa with an outdoor shower. Lots of space and perfect for our family.

The staff are lovely, but the service is a little slow. They need more staff. However, if you are not in a rush then it's fine. That would be my only complaint. Would highly recommend this Resort.

Amazing swimming pool, amazing breakfast with a lot of choices, kind staff, access to the beach, possibility to do paddle for free, possibility to rent bikes at the restaurant nearby, nice room with outdoor shower.

Exceptional. Amazing. An experience we will never forget. The hotel is so underrated and the pics on the different websites don't give any credit to this place. It's a paradise. All guests we met were amazed and had the same review. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and you live in a green jungle next to the beach. The resort is like a nature reserve. The infinity pool is great with spectacular views, you'll never want to leave. The beach has hammocks. Breakfast and restaurant were lovely. The attention to details was certainly clear. You can also get lucky with game viewing (we saw a Water Monitor!) - Paradise! Recommended to everyone and anyone.

Great location, accommodation spacious, amazing pool area, great breakfast. Restaurant very good. Even though our property was one of the furthest from the reception / facilities there was always a buggy on hand to take us up the hill! Very efficient (and looked after) transfer from airport arranged by hotel (extra price)

We arrived early at the hotel due to the flight arrival time. Hotel aware we were coming because they arranged the transfer. Unfortunately our room wasn’t made available early. A very minor quibble in an otherwise excellent stay.
