Good value for money, one will get exactly what they are paying for. The hotel room was decent with a nice balcony. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The breakfast (which was included in the room booking price) was good and really made up for the little lackings in our hotel room. The gym and the pool in the hotel were a nice addition too. The hotel also offers discounted offers for day trips to Phi Phi island and James Bond island. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the Old Town, which is very convenient.

The room lighting was really insufficient in our room, with no central/main ceiling light. At night, our room would get rather dim. The bathroom as well could be made brighter with better or more lights. Overall, we didn’t mind the old-world feel of the hotel given that we were going to spend most of our time outside, however the bathroom tile grout and the bathroom fixtures really needed a good cleaning. The bathroom also needs a some sort of a hand soap (since this wasn’t provided, we had to use the body wash gel as our hand soap). Overall, these things didn’t really affect our stay. We were still quite comfortable and would say again that the hotel is good value for money.

I got the WOW factor when I came in. They cleaned the room every day. There was a phone and I could call the reception anytime. They tipped me about boat trip to Phi phi island, Krabi, 3 Khai island. Etc…. It was kitchen with fridge and microwave. Bathroom had bath tub and shower. I just love the balcony and it’s my kind of thing. The pool was a bit tiny at the roof. Big screen Tv and a kettle close to it. A big closet and a sitting group I could lay my shopping bag on :P Close to everything like Phuket Old town, Patong beach 30min with Grab or taxi. The breakfast was for free every day with a buffee.

I recently stayed at The Royal P Phuket Hotel in Old Town Phuket, and I must say, it has a lot of charm! This older hotel has wonderful large, clean rooms and boasts a stunning rooftop pool that is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views.

While my experience had many positive aspects, I did encounter a frustrating situation regarding my passports. Unfortunately, I forgot to retrieve them upon check-in. I fully acknowledge that this oversight was my responsibility, but I wish the hotel had made an effort to return them or remind me before our departure. It wasn't until we were about to leave for the airport that we realized they were missing. When I returned to the reception, I was relieved to find that the hotel still had my passports; however, the lack of communication regarding such an important item left me feeling that there was room for improvement in their guest services.

We’ve only stayed one night, so next morning we could easily get tobthe pier tobtake the ferry (10-15 minutes by taxi) It’s a simple but cosy accomodation, With huge and comfortable bed good wifi, Nice view from the balcony, Great shower (only negative point, there is no shower door, so water goes out to the toilet and sink, but there is a small step at the entrance which keeps the water within the bathroom), Breakfast was also good, nothing outstanding but satisfying. Shop is close to the entrance, just across the road. Didn’t have enough time to try the swimming pool, so can’t say anything about that….

We liked everything

Having a kitchenette to prepare food was a huge bonus. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help me find the best money exchanger in Phuket Town. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety.

The pool was not usable for 4 days of the 6 days I stayed. You could still sit on the pool deck/roof however there is NO shade so what could have been an enjoyable space to relax and read was a hot sweltering mess. Please know your guests enjoy the sun and want to use the pool, however you must give some sort of relief from the sun.

Good location not far from Phuket's Old Town, it's just a 20 minutes walk (take Bangkok Road, there's a market too). The staff was very friendly and tried to fullfill every desire. Very nice rooftop pool with views to the city and the Great Buddha (in the distance). Towels provided. Nice place for sunset too. And they have a gym. Water and coffee / tea is in the room, a kettle too. The rooms are spacy and clean. We spent two nights there. They keep your luggage when you may check-out earlier or go on a tour.

In our bed the light switch was at the back side of the bed on same hight with my head, so I turned the light on several times at night (see photo).

Breakfast was a good selection of Thai and western. Some things were a bit inedible but could easily find plenty of delicious Thai food. Fresh watermelon and pineapple. Lovely little balcony for drying gear and very pleasant outlook.

The bed was too hard for me but lots of people like hard beds. There wasn't a rowing machine in the gym but honestly if that's the only thing I can find to complain about .... You get the picture, it was all pretty good and exceptionally good for the Price

Their staff was extremely helpful and tender to every need. The rooms are also cleaned every day, unlike most where the rooms are cleaned once a week or by request. They have everything there at your finger tips, whether it's a pharmacy, food, or laundry. This is the place to be if you are in Phuket!

There isn't much I don't like, but perhaps the pool can be just a little bigger. You would have to cut off the fans to make sure the light wasn't blaring at your face. No fault of the owners and this does not take away from my experience.

Everything was great.

Staff making us wait a long time to check in: We arrived like 5 minutes before check in. I stood up to check in when it was time, but the receptionist told me to sit down, We sat there for almost an hour, I got up really annoyed because while sitting there waiting for them to call us, they were checking in other people who arrived long after us. This ruined our plans for that day and really didn't make me happy in any way.

Comfortable room with nice balcony, not the best view but lovely to have for morning coffee Infinity pool was a great addition being in town setting Staff very helpful with organising taxi etc, always smiling. Breakfast was good Local park mins walk and Old Town easy 20 /25 min walk, which is a 'must' . Songthaew to various beaches can be taken from this area. O Ho Farm cafe mins walk away is a 'must' too... coffee and food excellent

WiFi not the best - generally reading 'poor' Bathroom was wet room situation so floor got excessively wet... a slight lip or curtain could have helped
