It was a very secluded and quiet spot. Staff were accommodating to my wife when she requested for a porridge (for me, while I was in bed with food poisoning).

We had an issue with our pool but it required chasing the front desk 5 times since morning before it was addressed in the evening. It seems they may be understaffed or there's an ops management issue.

The room and surroundings were amazing! I also especially rate the boat staff (the water taxi to Phuket is free, but you need to book in advance), they were so accommodating and made sure everyone was on board. For dining, make sure you visit Koko, absolutely sensational sashimi and seafood. The hotel organises a daily free trip to nearby gorgeous Rang Yai island, don't miss that one either!

Menu prices shown were not what you ended up paying - they didn't include tax and service charge (which you couldn't avoid), so there was at least 20-30% extra on the top of the advertised price. Haven't seen that anywhere else in Thailand or otherwise :( The beach is not great for sea swimming, esp at low tide times, great for sunbathing, it really depends on what sort of beach you like

The Village Coconut Island is a tropical paradise on its own island and has everything you need for a relaxing beach and ocean holiday. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, the food was prepared and served at a very high standard and the room was spacious and clean. The spa treatments (massages, pedicure, manicure) were amazing and I could have easily spent more of my time walking around the resort, taking in all of its natural beauty. The excursions offered were well worth their money, we went snorkeling near the Phi Phi Islands and spent time at an elephant sanctuary. There have been very few other places I've been to where I have been taken care of as well as I have been at the Village on Coconut Island. I can't wait to come back for another stay.

The only minor issue we had was that our mini bar wasn't refilled every day even though it was listed as an all-inclusive perk. We mentioned it to reception on the 3rd day and since then, they took great care to always have the mini bar fully stocked, sometimes even over-stocked (which was still fine with us).

Beautiful location with rooms set in beautiful gardens. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Couple of minor issues quickly dealt with. Loads on offer to do including an excursions desk. Beach was nice and reasonably clean. Two of the restaurants we are at were very nice with good choice of food. The bbq buffet was amazing but very expensive.

It’s very isolated and even taking the free ferry back to Phuket doesn’t get you far as you’re still a long way from the town. You’re limited to eating at the hotel restaurants which were very expensive even if you pay the extra for all inclusive. Likewise the excursions were considerably more expensive than if you were staying on the main island. I do accept that you’re picked up from the hotels private pier. Just need to bear in mind that there’s a price to be paid for the peace and quiet and romance of the location. If you’re all inclusive and not going out then all of this is probably irrelevant!! The hotel is shown signs of its age. Lots of worn out fittings peeling paint etc and there’s lots of renovations going on.

The resort was just simply wonderful. It was already our second time visiting. The overall atmosphere, all the facilities, the staff, the pools and food were all exquisite. Currently the resort is undergoing a renovation, but we did not find any hinder from this.

The overall price increased a lot, compared to a previous booking (in 2019).

Amazing resort on a small island just off the coast of Phuket. I'd read a mixed bag of reviews suggesting the resort was looking dated but it was modern (room fittings with usb-c), grounds well kept - friendly gardeners every day. Ferry terminal on the mainland means you can wait with refreshments in the cool, and there's shops round the corner to stock up. Arrival by a short ferry across the lagoon (leaves from Phuket side on the hour, returns on the half hour), you're taken to reception by golf cart and then shown your room. I chose a suite and the room was huge - large bathroom with ample sized shower and freestanding bath tub, large bed (odd master light/power switch that turns everything off). Short walk to reception, restaurants and the pools. Food wise it's a resort so you're somewhat limited. Japanese restaurant, open alternating days, has a great balcony view and nice little cocktail bar with 'jazzed up' food. Main 2 restaurants by the beach allow you to order from the back one but still sit facing the ocean, mix of western and local food. Breakfast is a buffet with a strange layout to find foods but live noodle and egg stations offer alot of variety. A few pools means if one is busier you can simply go to another. As a big child, there's a couple of water slides if you don't like sitting by/in a pool, and you've the beach itself - which is shallow. Didn't endulge in activities but walked past people doing morning yoga and saw the sup boards in use. Recommend in low season for the price and privacy of a high level resort, felt like the one bit that was a holiday holiday.

I appreciate resorts equal resort fees, but I dislike that it's 10% service and then 7% tax (which nowhere else in Thailand seems to have a tax) on eeeeeverything. So I can't have a coke at the beach and attribute to a room tab, instead I have to pay 17% atop a can. There's a reason people take the boat to the mainland and come back with sacks full of drinks and snacks so somethign to do before you get on the ferry. Ferry runs every hour, great as a regular service but if you miss one you're then twiddling your thumbs waiting.

Location lovely but isolated, if you needed to leave the island to go to Phuket or anywhere, you need to get a ferry and a taxi, so costly. You need to book the ferry in advance and also give a return time. Breakfast lovely Eating and drinking at the resort was really expensive with a huge service charge and not any competition so prices were high with a 17% service charge

Cost of eating and drinking a the resort was huge, they add 17 % to every bill, you can 3 cocktails will cost you close to 45€

The resort was very nice and the staff were extremely good and Professional.

The cost of the food and the drinks was very expensive. There were service and tax charges applied to already expensive food and drink Their staff are not treated well with regards to pay. The hotel is charging Western prices but not paying staff very well at all. From conversations I had with the staff the pay and living conditions are below standard. In 2023 the workers should be treated much better.

An excellent resort for a week relaxation. We had a jacuzzi suite and were very happy with the room, though the open toilet was a bit odd! The all inclusive package is well worth it and includes a wide range of food and drinks, the mini bar in the room and a discount on the spa. The food was amazing, a mix of Thai and western options so we never struggled with something to eat and the restaurants alternate between a la carte and buffet at dinner. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful and eay to communicate with. Had 3 treatments at the spa (massages and facials) and again these were fab. Booked the transfer from the airport with the hotel and this was easily arranged. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

The bed was a bit hard for us, though think we are used to a softer bed! The sea sadly is no good for snorkeling, however the hotel does offer trips for this. The sun beds could also do with a cushion on - all minor things that didn't ruin the holiday at all.
