We loved our bungalow, one of the older style. And the good location on the main beach. The room was serviced daily and free water every day. Breakfast was fair, with fresh egg station cooking friend eggs and pancakes. Plus fruit, salad, ham, cereal, cake, juice, tea coffee etc. The grounds are well kept and nicely planted with flowers and get lovely birds.

The restaurant music when they played rap full of swear words and aggression. It did our head in. The bar staff played it every night - until people complained each night. Which they quickly did. One couple said they would eat elsewhere if they kept playing that!! Not the kind of music for relaxing over dinner.

We booked our stay just couple days before arrival. We did not want to spend a fortune in accomodation. At first sight the bungallow was small and only with fan. But after first night it proved to be absolutely fine. It was cooled down, the fan worked well, we did not need the AC at all. Breakfast was very good. Menu and drinks were also good. The beach is wonderful. Perfect for snorkeling. A lot of natural shade from the trees and many swings along the resorts. Nice for photos. Clear blue sea. By kayak you can paddle around the island, or just half way to the small Sunset beach close to the Lost paradise resort that is in the middle of the island. They cook very well also.

We stayed in a delux bungalow which is on the front row facing the beach. We had a stunning view! Our bungalow was new, very clean and had good sir con. Note the air on doesn’t come on until 6pm. This is not an unusual thing on these quieter islands. We also had a good fan so it was no problem. There was a fridge with daily bottled water and we had hot water in our shower! The location of Kradan Beach resort is perfect! You don’t get all of the boats in front like you do at the neighbouring hotel Seven Seas. Kradan beach resort has a lovely restaurant which gets busy at night and a useful little mini mart (the only one on Kradan) The staff are lovely. They sorted out boat tickets and collected/took our bags to the speedboat. Breakfast is fine and does the job. It is served from 7 - 9.30. Perfect do you get up and don’t miss any of this beautiful island!

The bed! It’s so hard. My partner lifted it to see it was a wooden base with one mattress topper on it. We stayed for 2 nights which we managed, but I couldn’t imagine sleeping in it for longer. Maybe you can ask for another topper, but we just got on with it.

Beautiful location, close to the pier and a short walk to access alternative beaches. Staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling, and food from the menu was delicious and good value. Beachfront bungalows were spacious with a large beachfront deck and included a beach mat, air con, comfortable indoor seating and a HUGE bed! The garden room with fan was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast could have had some more options (such as muesli or cereals) and the price of the rooms are more expensive than many other islands in Thailand… you are paying a premium for the location on ‘the worlds best beach’.

Actually this was a very nice surprise for us. We didn't have much expectation for this accommodation because of the reviews (to be honest first we wanted to stay 2 nights but we shortened our stay because the resort didn't seem great, but was the only affordable accommodation on Koh Kradan and we really wanted to see the island and snorkeling here). We received 2 rooms on the long building (3rd row facing the garden) with fan and cold water. The rooms are big, clean and seemed newly renovated (the bathroom at least- no mold or bad smells). We had nets at the windows and apart from one or two geckos (cute and normal for Thailand) we didn't have any other creatures inside. The breakfast was really good (eggs cooked on spot, pancakes, rice soup, noodles, vegetables, fruits, hot-dogs, cakes, cereals, milk, juice, tea, coffee, toast...etc). We paid for one room only 35 euros/night, so I think for location and conditions it was great. The restaurant was good, tasty food, normal portions, a bit more expensive than other places (but comparable with similar islands - Koh Surin for example). Nice staff, they helped us with the backpacks from/to the boat. We could let out luggage at the reception for few hours until our departure without problems. Cold water was not a problem in warm climate (the water was a bit salty, but you are on an island without fresh water resource - we just used bottled water for brushing the teeth). Snorkeling can be done from the beach starting near the headquarters of the national park up to the Ao Nieng resort. The weather was a bit windy and affected the transparency of the water, but even so the snorkeling was good - a lot of fish, my husband even saw a turtle.

Perfect location for a relaxing beach holiday. Staff were amazing, breakfast was ok. Evening meal was good. Snorkelling awesome. Take a short walk to sunset beach , take a couple of drinks and snacks and watch the sunset. Beware of the day trippers that descend on the island from 10.30 then leave again and peace from3pm.

The beds were so hard it was like sleep on a wooden plank. So the price to pay for a desert island experience. I say sleep it off on the beach the following day

We had a really nice stay at the resort. Koh Kradan in particular is absolutely amazing! The water quality of the ocean surrounding the island is amazing and the whole island has a really relaxed vibe. We stayed in one of the beachfront bungalows and had a splendid view over the ocean from the bungalow. It was very nice and convenient to wake up with the rising sun and then walk just a few steps to the beach for the sunrise. The bungalow was spacious and elegant and had a really nice bathroom. Its nice to have breakfast included.

The prices on Koh Kradan in general is a bit high, at least if you compare to other, similar places in Thailand. It was the same in this resort when eating and drinkning in the restaurant. Its not expensive, but you notice the difference in how much money you spend daily. The breakfast was alright/good but could have had more alternatives to drink, different kinds of bread etc.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort, in its heavenly setting. The location couldn't have been more beautiful, with the sea right outside, and we were lucky enough to have it almost all to ourselves during our stay. The staff were friendly, courteous, and welcoming, and helped us book our onwards tickets. The bungalow was charming and beautiful, very cozy, clean, and comfortable. Free snorkel rentals were available from the hotel, and the food from the restaurant was delicious, and worth the prices. We recommend highly to all, and would love to stay again!
