Everything went well at Le Sultan. Flawless pickup and delivery to the airport. Nice room. Good indoor and outdoor pools. When a Viator day trip to Carthage got cancelled on me guess what Le Sultan did? On that day, they got one of their staff to drive me to Sisi Bousaid, then took me to Carthage, and finally Tunis and the Medina! In short, Tarek at Le Sultan became my own private Viator, setting up tours for me when local operators did not work. Exceptional service. By the way this all inclusive is great value for money! I know nothing even remotely as budget friendly except maybe some all-inclusives in Cuba. But the food at the buffets here is better. One piece of advice: if you want to do anything outside the resort like maybe buy lunch or souvenirs on a day tour, get Tunisian money at the airport, because the ATM at the resort doesn't work and nearby ones are a good walk away. But they take cards for everything, so that isn't really much of an issue. I recommend this resort heartily it's got everything and at a great price!

It was an absolute great hotel with plenty activities and things to do. Plenty of swimming pools inside and outside, hot and cold with Jacuzzi and spa. Daily interactive things to do like playing darts and cards with other guests which was really fun. Water sports and beachfront area as well as all the other activities like horse riding, tennis, padel, archery almost others. Also Shisha. Because there is not really much to do outside your hotel in Tunisia, it’s best you have a hotel you can be entertained and occupied in so this hotel really met that standard. We did go out of the hotel to explore Sousse mall and other restaurants in Hammamet but honestly we had a great time in the hotel overall. The front desk staff were amazing and the daily staff outside the sun lounge and pool areas were amazing as well. Lovely people overall.

The food. Not enough choices or variety, ended up eating the 1 or 2 meals for literally the whole stay now I can’t stand to eat those meals back home 😂. Also menu’s only in French/Arab and staff couldn’t explain/translate to English as they didn’t speak too much English themselves. Luckily I pick up a little bit of French. Finally, didn’t like the FLIES! Flies everywhere outside, every second of the day. Couldn’t relax or eat in peace without flies gathering. It was terrible and really put a damper on the holiday however it was noones fault. I think we were told there is a period of time flies come around a lot for 3 weeks and then it goes back to normal, I guess we were in that 3 weeks and then period because it was absolutely ridiculously too much.

The cleanliness is exceptional. The staff is very polite, respectful, and helpful, always with the smile. The variety of the food is remarkable.

The drinks at the bar were very basic, and the card was useless as the staff didn't know how to make them. Example: the card has a list of Mocktails, and when we tried to order one, the only thing the team knew how to do was the virgin mojito. In the end, they served us a basic juice instead. In general, I think you could do better and this will improve the experience at the bar immensely. .

Excellent welcome, although arrived late at night I was checked in with no delays! The room is excellent and facilities are amazing. I would like to thank the entertainment manager Slim and the team Haykal, Muna and others who had an excellent program, we enjoyed every, morning and evening, from pool activity to Darts, to tennis, archery, French bowling and many others! A two days trip to the south was amazing. The staff in restaurants were very nice and helpful. Special thanks to the people in the kitchen who made a wide verity of food… fantastic. Thanks to all who made our stay comfortable and pleasant!

The hotel is set in nice grounds. It was comfortable and clean. It was quite quiet during our stay. The food for breakfast and dinner is a buffet with plenty of choices, and as vegetarians we had no trouble eating there. We made good use of the pool especially as there were not many other people using it. We could walk into town in around 50 minutes as the road is quite pleasant to stroll along, although taxis are cheap (Bolt is not available in Hammamet). The staff was pleasant.

There were no robes provided to use the pool, and nowhere to change apart from the toilets which isn't ideal. Keeping vegetarian and vegan food separate would be preferable as some guests used ladles to get meat dishes, then put them into the vegetable dishes.

We only stayed for two nights , the hotel was beautiful with nice ocean views. Breakfast and dinner had ample choices , bedrooms were a little old on the decor side but still comfortable and clean. The reception helped us rent a car on short notice which was very helpful. It was safe and secure , and they do have ample free parking.

The rooms were a bit old and tired. Our shower was a challenge , the water goes through cycles of extreme hot to cold to being the right temperature you set it at. It was a challenge to shower without burning yourself. We had to also pay in cash for our car rental so make sure you bring along enough as cash is king in Tunisia.

It's our 3rd time returning to the Sultan, this time with even more friends and family. We had a wonderful stay again thanks to all the fun activities, padel, tennis, animation, mini disco and a lovely private beach. The room was comfy as always and the vibe was amazing. A special thanks to Mouna and Tata for entertaining our daughter and her friend ❤️. Big thanks to Mounir from the reception and to all the chefs and waiters for making my husband's birthday dinner unforgettable. Also a big shout out to the fabulous animators Haykel and Jamel for organising all the cool sport activities and to the lovely housekeeper lady that made a Swan decoration with flower petals on our bed. Hope to be back again next year. 🙏😊

This year even though the restaurant was renovated, it lacked some vegetarian dishes and a variety of fresh fruits. Furthermore, if you like cocktails, it's not the place to be. The tequila sunrise was the worst Ive ever had and my friend's mojito was awful as well. Your best bet will be the local beer (celtia)and wine but cocktails are very dissapointing.

Nice hotel and a nice location. Clean and spacious room for the 3 of us. Check in was smooth and the room was ready upon arrival. The beach is really good , transparent water and fine sand. The mini club and mini disco for kids were great . Special mention to Tata and Mona who took good care of the little one. They also have a ranch with beautiful horses and poneys which the little one loved.

We only had breakfast as we ate outside the rest of the time. More fresh fruits and pressed juices would be great. Poney ride was great but was not easy to book I had to go around in circles for a while. Wifi in the first room (6) was good but was very poor in room 32

This wasn’t our first stay in Sultan. Once more Sultan’s team provided a decent service with a big smile. Thank you everyone for making our stay enjoyable 😃

A more up-to-date health and safety training would be great for senior and junior staff alike. (Stacking clean cups using fingers inside; signposting slippery areas, understanding allergens properly) Cooks and restaurant managers should be provided appropriate training and processes to follow for visitors with dietary restrictions. I’m sure that this is perfectly feasible with the plethora of Tunisian skilled healthcare professionals around.

The food was great, lots of different things to try and mostly enjoy. Meals, soups and desserts rotated, so wasn't same thing every night. The hotel was clean, with an army of cleaners. The Kids club was great (10am-12pm, and usually an hour or so around 3pm but not during Ramadan). The entertainers (oddly called Animators) were great, particularly Jamal. It was fun to try archery, as well as the mini golf. The pools were nice, although as Easter, mainly in the indoors pool. It's easy to get cabs just up the road from the hotel into town for 5Dr or Nabuel for the market 15Dr. Beware of the 'i'm a waiter from your hotel' scams in Nabuel Market. I enjoyed jogging around the local area. The hotel also sorted a driver for us to see local Berber villages, and to see the excellent Uthina Roman ruins.

The beds appear to have plastic sheets or something on the bottom, making them feel a little uncomfortable. There are balcony lights that stay on until 11pm, which you can't switch off, which was annoying, not least as a flying insect magnet. Only two of the workout machines worked in the Gym, which was hot and stuffy in Easter. If you like umbrellas and sunbeds, bring a 3" nail to keep up the umbrella, as most of the pins are missing. Weekends have entertainment that goes on until late with loud noise. Not the hotels fault, but there's a sewage plant up the road (you can't smell it), but it discharges into the sea somewhere near the hotel, so sea swimming is a no go.
