My flight was canceled and I had to find a place to stay quickly. Without knowing my options, we got the booking for this place based on the reviews and did not regret it at all! The staff was extra helpful and friendly. I was super hungry and it was around 10pm, they called a place I spotted on the way to the hotel, and when there was no delivery they took me to the place by a private car so that I get my food. I also had to leave very early in the morning, which meant missing breakfast, so they prepared a breakfast box for me to take away. They also helped me to order a taxi at 4:30am! What else would someone need? Clean rooms, check! Big rooms, check! Location, check! Lovely staff, check check!

I had a room looking at the road and it was noisy for me. If you are a light sleeper like I am, ask for a room that faces to the other side

The Operla is about a 15 minute drive from the new Istanbul Airport. Comfortable bed, fast internet, tasty breakfast. I've stayed here several times and it's a good choice for an overnight layover. Only problem is there are 2 Wyndhams in Arnavutkoy and you may have to explain more than once that you want the one on Kibris Caddesi.

Before arriving at the hotel, I made a reservation for the hotel's transfer vehicle. We reached the hotel very easily. The price is almost the same as a taxi. I recommend the hotel's transfer service.

It was clean and comfortable, the staff were great. The noise from the aircrafts was much less than in other Arnavutköy hotels we stayed in, so we could sleep comfortably. All in all, it was by far our best stay for a short layover in this price category. The transfer was also great. Will only choose this hotel in the future. Thanks to the whole team!

Our room was next to the elevator, so it was a bit noisy (the elevator itself made some loud clicks), I am sure it is much quieter at other rooms. It was still much better than at other hotels where you could hear every airplane, neighbors speaking and the Mosque.

“The thing I liked the most about the hotel was its cleanliness and the attentiveness of the staff. I came to Istanbul for a business trip and stayed for 1 night. The room was very tidy, the beds were new, the pillows were orthopedic and the sheets were spotless. I was especially impressed by the hygiene of the bathroom. The transfer service was on time, the hotel vehicle was very comfortable and the driver was very professional. The breakfast was an open buffet, the varieties were filling and the ingredients were fresh. The olive and cheese varieties were of very high quality. Also, having a coffee machine was a nice plus. In general, the service quality is very high for its price. It is ideal for short-term stays.”

I stayed at this hotel after a long journey and was very pleased. The airport transfer was on time and I felt safe as soon as I got in the vehicle. When I arrived at the hotel, the reception was very attentive and the check-in process was fast. My room was spacious and it was obvious that they cared about hygiene. The bathroom was fully stocked with soap, shampoo and clean towels. The room is cleaned regularly every day. They also exceeded my expectations in terms of food. The dinner was especially delicious, especially the pasta with vegetables. There were both hot and cold options for breakfast. The staff was kind and helpful. I plan to stay at the same place again when I come to Istanbul again.”

“I chose it because it was close to Istanbul Airport and I was really pleased. The transfer service was punctual and safe. The drivers were both helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I didn’t waste any time despite the Arnavutköy traffic. When I entered the hotel, I was greeted with a spacious and clean environment. My room was simple but very clean, the bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled wonderful. I was surprised to find a quality restaurant service for dinner. The food on the menu was appealing to both the eye and the palate. I definitely recommend it, especially for those staying one night.”

“The airport transfer was really successful. My plane landed earlier than planned, but the hotel attendant immediately provided transportation. The driver was polite and very professional. Especially in a busy area like Arnavutköy, it is a great relief to have a comfortable and on-time transportation. There was a smiling welcome upon entering the hotel. My room was spotlessly clean, the towels and sheets were brand new, and the bathroom smelled wonderful. Dinner was also very delicious; especially the grilled chicken and the side dishes were served fresh and hot. Breakfast was open buffet and there were many options. The price-performance ratio of the hotel was very good. I definitely recommend it for a stay close to the airport.”

Our room was facing the main road and was a bit loud. Breakfast was Ok but limited choice.

We booked 2 separate nights, each at the beginning and end of a trip that had long layovers in order to break up the long flights with some sleep. The Wyndham Operla was the perfect choice. It is centrally located in Arnavutköy, making it an easy journey by cab (1000-1200 Turkish Lira roundtrip, obtainable at the bank ATM in the Istanbul Airport Hall very near the exit door). It's a 15-17 min drive from the airport. Capable professional staff, clean, comfortable room/bed, nice bathroom/shower, plenty of hot water, nice quality cotton sheets and good wi-fi. It definitely checked all the boxes for an overnight stay at an excellent price. We ate dinner there the first night. It was mediocre and over-priced. The included breakfast decent. Overall I would definitely recommend this property for an overnight stay.
