Wonderful hotel! Thanks to the staff for the possibility of late check-in. I was placed in a room overlooking the sea, it was a pleasant surprise, which I discovered only in the morning))) I lived on the 5th floor, Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast is the same every day, but there is always a lot of different food, the breakfast is complete and tasty. The location is convenient, you can get anywhere from Aksaray. It is convenient to get from and to the airport by Havaist. In about 30 minutes you can walk to the embankment of the Marble Sea, it is very spacious and calm. There is a Migros Jet store nearby, but it is pretty stupid, there is an excellent and large mmm Migros in the Historia shopping center behind the Aksaray metro.

The only negative is the high audibility of the rooms; I constantly heard my loud neighbors.  But this did not spoil the overall impression, everything else was great!  Thank you!

Location was great. It was located in a not-so-touristy part compared to Sirdeci so some restaurants around the hotel was more "local" and cheaper. It is located near a metro station and tram station so its easy to go around. It is also a few minute ride from the important tourist sites. Staff are friendly and helpful. I loved the cheese "roll" served during breakfast, it was my favorite

Wifi was not readily offered and no electric kettle in the room. However, they can provide hot drinking water per request

The staff were wonderful, always smiled and were ready to help. The room was cleaned everyday by beautiful and friendly ladies. The breakfast was what I expected for a Turkish hotel, a great variety of foods to select from.

Booking.com page says the rooms have a mini bar...they do not, and also says they offer currency exchange...they do not. Whet they do is refer you to a place a few doors down the street where an arrogant little man works. With regard to the mini bar, this should either be removed from booking.com page or a mini bar installed because I do not like to have a judgemental face frown on me every time I ask for a beer...this was an incredible downside to my trip as I am not Muslim, and therefore I like a beer...sort this out because it was a selling point of the hotel for me, but I will think twice before using booking.com again as the information is false... I should be refunded a portion of the price i paid because I did not get what YOU advertised.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Aksaray station where you can take a HVIST-12 bus that goes to the airport. The room was spacious, cosy, clean. Provided water was a nice touch. I didn’t get to use many of the facilities because I only had a single day stay and I left at 3 am.

I didn’t like that the hotel took my passport and didn’t say they would keep it before I pay. Good thing I noticed that I don’t have it and didn’t panic. They do give it back obviously, it would just be a good thing to know before hand.

We were a group of 18 we really enjoyed our stay in Avlonya hotel ..CLEANING EVERY DAY was super perferct Very good breakfast with a lot of varieties Perfect location near Metro, tram, shops and supermarkets Staff are very friendly and helpful. Every day room service with water and cookies. The most important for me that the hotel was super clean every day. Every time I come to Istanbul will stay at Avlonya hotel .. Thank you Avonya hotel

When i first enter the hotel.... the staff already knew that i was coming and they immediately assisted me to my room... though i cannot speak turkish the smiles and gesture of the staffs made me comfortable enough.., everyday changing of linens and towels.and they wont touch your stuffs so it would be safe for you to leave important things in your room while you unmindedly roam around the city... breakfast is free and it is buffet style. and you can order your lunch and dinner ahead of time in a much affordable price !.... the staffs are at your service at all times.., the building may be old., but the important thing while travelling is to have a safe, comfortable and clean place to stay.

First of all I would like to thank all the working staff at the reception and also those in charge of the breakfast. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was very good, especially the soup. Thanks also to the staff in charge of cleaning as the rooms were cleaned regularly. The location is nice.

The only thing which I did not like was the coffee, because it was very light each time I had to buy a Turkish coffee, in addition there was no hot milk.

The hotel in general was so good. The breakfast was excellent. The room service was very good as the room and bathroom were clean all the time. The location was nice. It was only 10 minutes' walking to the main street but around the place there were a lot of restaurants, cafes and shops. The hotel staff showed utmost cooperation and dedicated service. The Internet was excellent too.

I had no complaints at all.

Breakfast was included in the room price which was great and were able to offer some gluten free options like eggs, olives and vegetables. The hotel has a good location with a metro and tram station in less than 5-8 minutes walking as well as places to eating out. In addition, the cleaning service was included daily with toiletries replacement. Reception is 24/7 and the staff allowed an early check-in

Wifi password had to be requested daily to reception but the staff tried their best to provide it promptly
