I had a great time at Aya Langa, which is one of the best vacation spots I've visited. I was really happy with everything. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and approachable. The only issue I encountered was that my toilet smelled like sewage. However, apart from that, Aya Langa is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Istanbul over the past five years, thanks to its great location.

The hotel's location near Yenikapi is ideal, offering easy access to the metro, Marmaray, and ferry services, making it convenient to explore all parts of Istanbul. With plenty of restaurants and local spots nearby, it's a perfect base for travelers.

I booked a double room with a patio and small kitchenette, expecting basic amenities like a coffee maker, hairdryer, kitchenware, electric kettle, etc (just like the pictures on booking.com). However, upon arrival, I was given a much smaller room that lacked all of the promised items. When I raised this issue with the reception, they made me speak with the owner over the phone. Shockingly, the owner casually mentioned that the pictures on the booking site are different from the reality as if they were acceptable. The room I was given was not only small but also located right next to the reception. To make matters worse, the receptionist was constantly smoking, and the smell would drift into my room, making it very uncomfortable. Lastly, the internet was extremely slow and unreliable, which was frustrating given that I needed a stable connection during my stay. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable or honest experience.
