The hotel has a very good location in the very center of the city. I was greeted by free parking for my car, which was very important to me. The hotel staff at the reception and the cleaning lady are very polite and very happy to explain everything, even though it was a little difficult to communicate, we understood everything. The food for breakfast is excellent and fresh, everything is warm and fresh and there is a large selection of food, coffee, tea and juices. The price is very good and I will definitely come to this hotel again. We spent a really good time in this hotel.

This is perfect medium size HOTEL for tourists. Small enough to get a VERY KIND and FAMILIAR service (first of all big thanks for Bekir, who gave ALL necessary support at Reception: maps, program/restaurant/public transport - advices, umbrella (in case of rain), an extra pillow, explanations about anything, etc.), but large enough to enjoy a very wide range of breakfast offer, for example. The rooms are were clean and acceptable space, beds were comfortable. The daily "set up" was also nice (some cleaning, a new bottle of water for free, new slippers, new towels, etc). The location is in a small street, fully silent, but numerous buses only 2 minutes walk, and the Tram Nr1, or HVL (Airport bus) are only 6-8 minutes walking distance. Public transport connections are really good!!

We like, if rooms has a chair, it was not available here. The breakfast range was wide enough, the only weakness maybe the cold (sliced) meats were not so delicious, but acceptable. Also the fruit juices were also "very light". It is very kind, but maybe not necessary to give daily new slippers and towels. I woud recommend if "towels are on floor or slippers in/on trash bin" - the meaning is it's time to change. Otherwise it would be not necessary.

Warm, welcoming staff, superb breakfasts. My room was cosy and warm with a sea view. Felt at home and would definitely return. Really appreciated the personal touch from the staff. I was also allowed to store my luggage after check-out. A true Turkish welcome from the world’s warmest people!

The safe in the room didn’t work. I could smell cigarette smoke most nights, which was unpleasant as this is a non-smoking hotel. On a couple of days my room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly and only the bed was made.

Location! The hotel is near to 4 different train and metro stations and several buses and trams, making it perfect for travelling to all possible locations in Istanbul. The price is perfect for what and where the hotel is. They have private parking at the back of the hotel with secure door, not only the small one that is in the pictures, but you need to leave your car keys at the reception, because the cars are parked in a row. I don't recommend using a car in Istanbul. Breakfast is good, although they might think of changing the verity every day, because if you stay there more than three days you might get bored. The staff at the reception knows a little English and they are very helpful.

The cleaning ladies are making lots of noise, especially in the morning. They are starting work very early and you can't sleep after 7 a.m. They are constantly trying to get in your room, so locking your room with the locker might be a good idea.

A very good Hotel if you travel by car. The position is very good across the street to Metro Station the line to Taksim/Galata. Also very near to the Tram station for city center (Grand Bazar, Hagia Sofia, etc). A big plus for this location is that they have some parking spaces and they took care of the car. Also the location is in the main shopping area for wholesale products. The rooms are ok, clean, with towels and dryer etc.

For a noisy city, sound proofing could be better, inside the hotel in the morning there ar many slammed door sounds and noise, but in the night was quiet and we could sleep OK.

What I liked about this place was that it offers a free parking on the premises. Moreover, the people in charge were very friendly and tried to help us in any possible way. Towels are changed daily, and cleaning is performed on a regular basis. Breakfast is almost the same every day, but consistent and good. Nearby there is a metro station and a tram station, which facilitated our movements through Istanbul.

Hotel offers an excellent breakfast. It starts at 7.am. So that you can start your day very early. Rooms are good and it has space to keep luggage, move easily. Room service provides everyday. Tiolet has a separate shower area, and its clean. Hot water is available. I had a credit card issue and I couldn’t process the payment on the first day. I waited until my last day (5th day) and made the payment. As our departure flight was in the night, I was offered a half day stay with a very reasonable price. Staff are very friendly especially the reception staff. The price of the hotel is very reasonable. In front of the hotel-right side there is a reliable laundry business. Hotel is very near to Yenikapi Metro Station. Yenikapi Metro Station goes all areas to Instanbul without connection. Also, 20 walk to Aksray Metro and Rail way Station. From Yenikapi you can travel directly to Taksim (Istiklal Street). It takes around 20 minutes by Metro. I didn’t use Taxi. Metro is very cheap. From Aksray you can go directly to SultanAhmed Mosque (blue mosque), Hagia Sofia, TopKapi, Egyptian Bazaar, Galata Bridge, Rustem Pasha Mosque, Sulaymaniye Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar (walk a distance). There are many restaurants and small retail shops nearby. Also, luggage and suitcases are also available nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at Orient Mintur Hotel. The Hotel met with all of our expectations. The Hotel is easily accessible by metro, located in a central area surrounded with restaurants, shops. The room was clean, bed extremely comfy. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was great. We stayed in different hotels in Istanbul, but the Orient Mintur was the best so far. Highly recommended hotel.

Location was great Staff were great all very helpful and friendly especially those working behind reception desk. Rooms were spacious and clean and beds very comfy. Serhat in reception was very helpful. All in all was very happy we stayed here.

Only thing i can think of is maybe have a toaster at breakfast buffet

Super great, welcoming personnel! Always in touch, quick answers. Allowed us to check in really early, appreciate that!! Small good place for breakfast (you can find tasty omlette and veggies), good rooms. Small, but clean, no bad smells, a/c working well, good linen. Everything is functioning well, nothing was broken. I was prepared for not so good quality of sound isolation. But must say it was good as well. We didn`t hear much of surrounding rooms. Internet was good everywhere in the hotel. Didn`t have to go to lobby to catch connection. Worked from room. Location is not bad at all! Especially if need to go to Halkali station - it is perfect. Recommend it for a short stay definitely!
