Excellent food, big variety of dishes and different combination of dishes every day- all delicious. Big choice for vegans. The chef is a gem. All the staff very kind and friendly. The room and the bathroom beautifully arranged, very comfortable beds. Good acoustic insulation- can't hear the noise from the busy street when the window closed but provide yourself with the earplugs to not hear the next door neighbours.

No private smoking area (kind of terrace of back garden) only at the fron door. But the tables, chairs and ashtrays provided there.

They offered us a nice, spacious room with a view in front of the hotel. The staff was very kind, ready to help us solve any problem. Many thanks to Yusuf, the receptionist who was on duty when we arrived, with whom we could talk in English (and this happens quite rarely in the area), who offered us tea upon arrival and who made our check-in quickly. He also sent a boy to show us where the parking area was and how to get there. Because at the time of booking on the hotel's website it was said that cars can be parked in a private location behind the hotel, they helped us reserve a place for our car in that location. It was very crowded and we probably wouldn't have found a place for our car there, without their help. There is a safe in the room. On the ground floor there is a cafe where you can serve, for a fee, a very good coffee. A lot of shops, restaurants in the area and very close to public transport (metro, bus, tram), even a taxi station. However, you can reach the Grand Bazaar quite quickly on foot(15-20 minutes), and even in the square between the two mosques, at the fountain, but you have to be prepared to climb a lot, because the streets in the area are on a slope.

Not too much to say, but….the bathroom supplies were not replenished, and a housekeeper gave us a very nasty reply "Finished" when we asked for soap(not all employees were rude, I think she was the only one). About the neighborhoods-narrow streets, congested, with a lot of garbage in the evening; the noise from the garbage trucks in the morning.

Family Friendly. I stayed 7 nights in the hotel with my family including 2 kids. The hotel was family friendly and we enjoyed staying there. The rooms. The rooms we had were spacious, well-lit and smelled well. When we were booking this hotel, especially, my wife was not sure how the rooms would smell in this hotel. However, she was very pleased with smell of the rooms. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff let fresh airs in and applied air fresheners. We could feel it when we came back to the hotel in the afternoon. The rooms were clean and tidy everyday. The staff. There was a guy called Yusuf. He was nice. He was so helpful and responsive. He resolved issues quickly, arranged airport transfers for us. He offers different tours and can arrange them for the guests. Also, he advised us how to get to the certain places and lent "Istanbul card" (Istanbul card is used for underground and other public transports) when we needed. All other staff were also respective and provided excellent support. Breakfast. Breakfast was so delicious. Everyday we had different food. My wife loved cakes and had them everyday. Location. Location was perfect for us as it is close to the underground stations and shops. The area had variety of restaurants and eating places to choose.

Everything was perfect for us during our stay. I would suggest to have more staff who speak in English.

I was greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless and stocked.

I wish instant coffee was available in the room

We liked everything! Eventgough, most of the staff did not speak English, they were very friendly and helpful.

We did not like the fact they charged us for bottles of water we did not use. It is clearly stated in the room the charge for items in the mini bar (Fridge). However, the bottles of water on your night stand are included in your cost. But we were charged for them as well. Cheap shot. Another thing was, the room did not have a universal outlets . We had to buy an adapter, in order for our phone chargers to fit.

We travelled for just over a week with a baby. The hotel is well situated, close to the metro/tram services, short walking distance away and close to major attractions. The staff are extremely warm and hospitable and took great care of us, especially Mustafa, Mucahit, Ogun, Ali and Elvin. Everyone made it very easy for us to get about and ensured that we were comfortable and well looked after. Breakfast was traditional turkish food and made fresh by the chefs. There are plenty of restuarants/shops around the hotel which were much better in terms of value and taste than the more tourist areas. Bed was very comfortable and we were provided with a cot. Will definitely come again, thank you to the lovely people at Alpinn Due.

We had some issues with the AC, the thermostat was a bit temperamental, didnt bother us too much though as we could leave the window open.

The rooms are really soundproof, so even though the hotel is in a noisy area, you dont hear any noise from outside. The staff is helpful and polite. They clean the rooms every day. The breakfast one the -1st floor was delicious. Good job!

Stayed at hotel for the 3rd time now,location perfect metro 2 minutes walk plus taxi rank right outside hotel plus reception staff are brilliant and always there to help,will definitely be staying again
