I recently stayed at The Best House Old Hotel in Istanbul, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had while traveling. Everything was just right. The price was very reasonable, especially for what you get. The room looked exactly like the photos—clean, cozy, and really charming. Breakfast was included and it was lovely each morning, with a nice variety and fresh food. But what really stood out to me was the staff. They were beyond amazing—so friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. They made me feel so welcome and taken care of, which made a huge difference during my stay. If you’re heading to Istanbul and want a place that feels like a home away from home, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff are of the most kind and polite you can get. Very helpful, always smiling even when I teased the manager he was so polite. It's very clean. Every day you get a shiny fresh room with clean sheets. The chef makes different delicious dishes every breakfast and there's plenty of choice. The location is perfect for transport. You really feel at home, not a traveler.

I think location,personal and clean rooms are important for me. So I can truly say it is awesome. I should also mention that they made the bed for me) because if I were taller than 187 my feet wouldn't fit in the bed. And after the rain with heavy winds I saw some water on the floor in front of the window. I told them about it, I hope they fix it.

Very lovely i always come back here everytime I’m in turkey this is my 4ths time back and the staff are always friendly and welcoming rooms are perfection breakfast was delicious nothing wrong I can say as it is the best hotel

Problem with coffee machine, but it is fixable.

The location was good, close to the metro station, by foot you need around 10 minutes to laleli, 25 minutes to Grand bazar.. etc… The staff was friendly and helpful.

Sometimes they give old, dirty towels or old covers to costumers , Sometimes the housekeeping not clean the bathrooms well

The staff was really nice, always ready to help A lot of different restaurants close by, the public transportation is really close as well, would stay again

Breakfast is very good, a great variety. Location is amazing. Stuff was very friendly and welcoming.

My feel was that it was a bit overpriced for a general hotel in Istanbul. However, the location is definitely worth staying at, bus to the airport is right next to the place, as well as the metro station.

Room and breakfast was 10/10. The best hotel i've stayed in abroad in many years of travelling. A must visit!
