We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Park Hotel in Istanbul as a family of four — myself, my wife, and our two teenage sons — and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We booked the Deluxe Suite with Spa tub, and it was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for families. Honestly, the room could have easily accommodated five people. The beds were super comfy, and little touches like the in-room tea and coffee, mini fridge, and the view made it feel like home. The hospitality from the team made the stay even more special. A huge thank you to Ahmad, Sultan, Barah, and the kind lady at the front desk — you were all exceptional, so kind, helpful, and welcoming. You went out of your way to support us with local advice, assistance, and tips I would have otherwise overlooked. We felt truly taken care of. The breakfast was another highlight — a huge, delicious selection with a multi-coffee machine, fresh juices, fruits, and hot dishes. The breakfast team deserves a special mention for their warm service. I already miss it! The housekeeping team was excellent as well — the room was always spotless and refreshed quickly each day. Their attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. The location is simply unbeatable. Just a 3-minute walk to the metro, tram, or bus, and within 15–20 minutes you’re at all the major sites: Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Galata Tower, Istiklal Street — even faster than taking a taxi! Plus, you’re surrounded by amazing restaurants (all rated 4.3+). We especially loved Beyt Halep and Hadramount (right next door). There's also a lovely café in the park nearby — perfect for a relaxing coffee break. Thank you to the entire Park Hotel team — you helped make our holiday so much easier and more enjoyable. Overall, the hotel is okay, but I'm not sure if it deserves its four-star rating. Apart from the very small reception area and the breakfast room, there's nothing to do. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. We would like to thank Ahmed, who kindly helped us with everything we requested.

We chose this hotel to be close to the Grand Bazaar, but the problem is that it's situated in a very poor area where people don't speak English. If you want to go to a terrace to have a beer, it's not possible. On the street, there were begging children who came up to us and pulled on our arms. Despite this, we didn't have any other safety issues. The Wi-Fi only worked on mobile phones, so I couldn't work on my laptop. At the hotel, only some of the staff spoke English, which I found strange. The receptionists should be able to speak an international language.

Very friendly staff (supportive), perfect location in the center near to the Metro and the Tram, good breakfast. All in all I can recommend staying here even though it is not the cheapest option!

The drain of the sink in the bathroom didn't flow well, the wifi signal in our room was quite weak, breakfast tables were not always clean but service was always fast if you needed something.

I really liked the hotel. I get a very nice room with a lovely balcony. The bed was really nice - I could had sleep there all day. My room was clean and elegant. The bathroom was small but also very elegant and everything was in good quality. The pressure of the water in the shower was very good - this is important for woman with long hair. The breakfast was really nice ( till 11 a.m. - what I loved ! ) I asked for a late check out and it was no problem. From the hotel you have perfect possibilities to come to every important point for a tourist cause it is situated 5-10min from the metro and the tram T1. Also there is a bus 5min away that brings you directly to the airport IST. Around the hotel you can buy food everywhere und there is also a supermarket 5min away. Aksaray is not a really pretty area. But it the hotel you forget about it. It is located near a loud street but you just have to close the window and you have silence and peace. Airconditioning worked very well and was not to loud. I enjoyed sitting on my balcony every night, watching the people downstairs and listening to the prayers in the mosque. I travelled alone as a woman I recommend The Park Hotel ☺️

The location was perfect, and the staff were very helpful—especially Ahmed and Diana. Thank you both for making the hotel feel vibrant and welcoming. As a Kurdish guest, I found the breakfast truly amazing. Many of the cheeses served reminded me of our traditional flavors, which made me feel right at home. The hotel was also very clean and well-maintained. There is a Yemeni restaurant next to the hotel; they had the best food I have ever tried. Try it! You can go to the hotel and back to the airport by bus; it is close to the hotel and saves lots of money. You just pay 280 TL per person.

There were a few downsides to my stay: The bed was quite small for me, as I’m 186 cm tall, and it wasn’t very comfortable for someone of my height. Some staff or guests would gather and talk outside my room, especially late at night. Since the hotel is small, the noise easily disturbed my rest. The price felt too high for what was offered. We paid around £1600, and for that amount, I believe better options were available.

Staff are really helpful, Diana of night shift welcomed us with hugs and kisses, taking our luggages and providing us with a platter of fresh fruits. Ahmed of day shift lent us his Istanbul card for transport, telling us where to top up its value, and even carrying our luggage from the hotel to the Havaist bus stop (he led us to cross the busy road that didnt have any pedestrian crossing). The hotel’s location is really good, in between the Aksaray Havaist bus stop and the Yusufpasar tram station. From Yusufpasar, it’s just a few tram stops to get to Grand Bazaar and Sultanahmet. There are also buses to link directly to Galata Tower side. We lived in the heart of Istanbul’s busy local crowd, and restaurants are aplenty, there’s food even at 10pm. The room we stayed in is a triple room on the top of the building, the slanting roof is directly over our heads, so there are parts of the room that are lower, please consider this if you are above 1.7m tall. Otherwise, theres a balcony and an unblocked view of the city.

Bathroom could have more shelfs and hooks to place our toiletries and hang our clothes. Provide english names of each of the dishes served for breakfast buffet.

Hotel was very pretty, near to public transportation stations, in area were many cafes, restaurnats.

Great hotel with reasonable prices. The room was cosy and included a fridge, a kettle with some tea selection, tv and jacuzzi. Pillows were comfortable to sleep on. Great room for a short stay and hotel is located in a convenient location, 3 mins from the buses that go to/from airport. Super convenient. I was impressed by breakfast selection. The chef was friendly and explained some of the dishes. Everything was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again if I come to Istanbul next time.

TV remote control batteries were running down as the control didn't really work much. We wanted to watch tv only once, so it was fine and we didn't flag it to reception.

At times the towels were not left in the rooms and I felt as if the bed sheets were not changed
