The location was excellent, just a couple of meters away from the Yusufpasa tram station and a 10-minute walk from the Arksaray metro and airport bus stop. It's a really good choice for travellers who want to explore the Sultanhmet area but don't want to fork out too much for pricey hotels. There were lots of local restaurants around the hotel that were highly affordable and served good food. The buffet breakfast was decent and mostly offered Turkish food with a few Western options.

There were very few toiletries available. We brought our own toothbrushes and toothpaste, but it would've been an issue if we hadn't. There wasn't a shower rack to put the soap and shampoo, so we ended up having to place them on the ground, which was quite unhygienic. A couple of items were broken in the room, but they weren't essential.

The hotel was in a really good location with bus and tram lines just outside of it which made it very easy to get around. There are also a lot of restaurants and shops around if you want to grab something to eat and its always busy even late into the night. The staff members were also great and the included breakfast in our stay was good.

Despite the hotel being great and we had a nice stay the only negative I would say is that it is that the rooms are a little small.

We were in Istanbul on a group tour at the Bern Hotel. It is a great place to stay in Istanbul. The location is very good, convenient for visiting all the interesting places. The hotel has a very good kitchen, where you can eat meals at a budget price. The receptionist – Kauser – is a great host. The hotel staff, Eka, Lia, Ia, Mzia, Sait, showed great attention to us. Many thanks to them. I would be happy to come here again.

The property was very well located, soo close to everything and literally next to the tram station, the breakfast was exceptional, and the best part of the stay was the staff, they were attentive to all our enquiries, helped us so much with everything, a special thanks to Kawtar who provided an excellent assistance and valuable advices that shaped our trip, thank you for the amazing service 🙏🏻

His location in Aksaray is an advantage for whom want to visit the historical places in the city by feet (Blue mosque, Aya Sophia, Topkapi palace…). The stuff was so friendly and sociable. Thanks to the receptionist for her explanations. If you came from the international airport of Istanbul you can take the bus Havaist to Aksaray metro station about 5min walk to the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at hotel. Welcome by staff members was great with fruit plate and plenty of free water in room on daily basis. Our room on the 4th floor was big and quiet, there were enough fresh towels, refrigerator and safe were useful. Breakfast was good so we do recommend hotel.

I loved everything about it especially the staffs how they made us welcomed especially Kawtar and Yazan how they always smiled and made you feel like you were at home, I loved the cooks aswell because they made the best breakfast, and the location was amazing , it was near everything you needed, I would highly recommend everyone to visit bern hotel

No there is not one think I disliked about the place

Wonderful and friendly staff. They welcomed me with generous hospitality. All thanks and appreciation to them, as they added value and pleasant memories to my stay. The room was clean and the breakfast was varied and very delicious.

The staff, both at the reception and the bistro were very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was simply superb with wide variety to pick from. I'd thank the staff - Kawtar and her colleagues for their excellent hospitality and making our stay pleasant
