Hira Hotel is good overall - staff is very friendly and kind, rooms are good and comfortable, beds are ok. Location is also very good - bus station is in front of the hotel, also its located in Fatih near Aksaray tram and metro station (which is connected with main tourist points very good). Room service is also included, towels changing and everything - wonderful! Value for money is the main advantage - it is great for short stay.

Not a lot of things that are not good, but there are points from improvement: While the room is very comfortable, all other places in hotel are very small - toilet is very small, also the canteen where breakfast is served is small. Breakfast is ok - its delicious but there can be more options in my opinion. Wi fi is poor.

Very clean, at walking distance to the main objectives (Ayasofya, Basilica Cistern, Topkapı Palace etc.). Rooms were warm and spacious. The hotel offers free coffee and water at any time. Personnel were very kind and helpful with all our requests (without exaggeration, the guys from the reception were the best receptionists I ever met - and I stays in hundreds hotels). We were in a larger group and they managed to handle all our requests related to rooms, parking and also Bosphorus cruise reservation.

Everything was fine: people, location, kindness. Every our question was answered. We could regulate the temrature, everything nice and clean. We had an issue - I left my headphones, but the stuff was very helpfull, sent it to us at home. I was amazed by this attitude, it is a very rare quality, usualy you expect to say goodbye to your lost items. For this decency, considering everything else being also quite superb, I would rate the hotel 10/10 and would recommend everyone to stay here at Istanbul.

At the moment of our stay, there were constructions going near the hotel, but I hope they will finish soon.

My recent stay with family at the Hira Hotel was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we stepped into the elegant lobby, we were greeted warmly by the friendly staff member Necmeddin Bey who ensured every detail of our visit was perfect. The family room itself was spacious and beautifully appointed with indispensable amenities and a breathtaking view that made each morning feel like a dream. The hotel is close to Aksaray tram stop from where trams can take you to the Hagia Sofia and the Sultanahmet Cami, plus Eminönü, from where ferries leave, so well-located. The room was a bit small, but I was a solo traveller, so it was fine. It can probably host a couple, but definitely not more people. I think there were other rooms for families. The communication was a bit difficult as I don’t speak Turkish and the people don’t really speak English well, but with the help of technology we sorted it out. My man, Haci (pronounced Ha-jee, the host) was very friendly and hospitable - he was even willing to lend me his Istanbulkart (top-up card used for public transport), but I told him I want to keep mine, so I will buy one. He was checking on me whenever I came through the door how I am and if I need anything from him. Very nice guy - he made me feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend.

The communication didn’t flow well, but as I said we managed to resolve this with the help of technology. When I got there I struggled a bit with the WiFi, my phones didn’t join, but Haci (pronounced Ha-jee) saved the day and managed to get it working for me.

Competitive price. Room and bathroom was clean, bed comfortable. WiFi connection good in room. Basic breakfast but standard for the price and by local cultural standards

Coffee at breakfast wasnt even half decent, need a better machine. On arrival receptionist had been smoking, did give a bad first impression but I arrived at midnight so maybe he thought no guests due. After that though, hotel hit the spot for a clean comfortable sleep and base.

Hira hotel is on a great location, 3 min walk from Aksaray tram station. All main atractions are walking distance from the hotel. It has been renovated and all the furniture is new. It is clean and tidy. The staff is very helpfull and friendly. Especially a guy named Haci. We booked family room, but he offered us apartment with separate room, for same price. Breakfast is quite enough. You have coffee, tea, water throughout the day.

I liked most the warm of the room it was enough hot even that the weather was cool The guy at the reception was very nice and polite, always asking how we were and if we need something and always disponibile to provide us everything we needed The room was a little bit small for four people but it is ok for 2-3 days of stay The hotel was in front of the bus station, 5 minutes from tram and 10-15 min from train and metro station but tram leaves you at any touristic attraction

I expected a different breakfast, it was a basic breakfast with the essential things. I would like to have more variety of the Turkish breakfast as it is known I didn’t like that the bathroom was a little bit small and in the room were 3 towels instead of 4 as we were in 4, but when we asked it they give it immediately. One of the towels they left in the room after cleaning it was dirty and they changed only the towels and didn’t clean the room or the toilet But the staff was very polite and gave as immediately new towels

Friendly, helpful staff. They offered free water, which was much needed in 36 degree Celsius heat! Also helped to book airport transfer (not included in the price). Breakfast was simple but wholesome, and the rooms were very clean and modern. Good location. Right next to a main street, and about a 25 minute walk in a straight line to the beautiful Sultanahmet Square.

The hotel’s location is excellent, just a few minutes from tram and metro stations. This is my second stay here, and the hotel staff is so kind that words cannot describe it – they are always available to answer any questions and ready to help. Additionally, if you’re arriving by car, parking in front of the hotel is possible and free, which is quite rare. The room is clean and tidy. All compliments!
