During our stay at Ess Hotel, we initially encountered a minor issue. However, it was addressed promptly and professionally by Mr. Mehmet Aybar, the Front Office Manager. His respectful communication, sense of responsibility, and attention to detail clearly reflected the hotel's strong commitment to guest satisfaction. Thanks to his personal follow-up, the rest of our stay continued with comfort and peace of mind. It’s also worth noting that the hotel’s location is excellent, offering convenient access to many parts of the city. It is situated just a short walk from Taksim Square, one of Istanbul’s most vibrant and iconic areas. This central location made it very easy for us to explore and enjoy the city. We sincerely appreciate Mr. Aybar and the team for their dedicated support and professional service.

Ess is a boutique hotel, in the quiet area of Taksim, and walking distance to the airport transfer shuttles. The hotel seems to be newly renovated, and the room is functional and has everything one needs on a business trip (work desk, coffee maker, small fridge, high pressure shower with quality amenities, etc...)

honestly I liked everything! Maybe a small advice to make the hotel closer to excellence is to re-think the design of the lobby to make it more convivial and work friendly. Otherwise all is great.

I stayed at this hotel for a short rest between flights, and overall, it was a good experience, especially for a solo traveler. The hotel was clean, and the staff was polite and helpful. Its location is excellent, with convenient proximity to transport links and many restaurants just a few minutes' walk away, making dining options plentiful and accessible. The hotel provides toiletries, which is a nice touch. However, although tea and coffee were offered alongside a kettle, there were no mugs provided. This made it a bit challenging to make use of the facilities. Overall, the hotel is a comfortable and practical choice, especially for those seeking a short, restful stay.

There is nothing to be disliked. Just a friendly suggestion: it would be great to have the Wi-Fi password available in the room, perhaps on a table card, instead of having to call reception. The walls are a bit thin, so you may hear some noise from neighboring rooms. Also, using a white towel ( or maybe bedsheet) as a mat at the entrance feels a bit out of place and could be reconsidered.

Stuff are very kind,helpful &decent 👍 It really was a nice stay, But I wish if they can give us more than one key to the room We are 2 they give us 1 key. But they are available to open you the room when you ask for that Any time 💕

I chose the hotel mainly for the location, close to the Taksim bus stop for the airport bus (I was basically transiting through Istanbul). It’s in a grid of streets with plenty of hotels, restaurants and cafes, and right beside Taksim Square itself. The hotel is fine, fairly small, with clean modern rooms and a good lift. Very convenient and straightforward.

It was so calm and clean and the most important thing it was near to Taksim Square and everything was near by metro, restaurants, bus stations literally everything and it’s was not expensive compared to the comfort we got

Good location, very helpful stuff, all our problems was solved in a shortest time. The rooms are comfortable and clean

Some stuff didn't know exactly working hours for spa center, but it was solved quickly

Very clean, excellent location, comfortable (though not a big room), very nice staff!

The only minus is thatvthe street is noisy because it is a very vivid place. But I didn’t mind that much.
