Very nice hotel staff, they really tried to help us, so here 5 stars/ 10 points to the staff. The hotel is located in quite good area, there are small supermarkets and a drugstore nearby. 5 minutes to Taxim. Delicious breakfast, I would just like to add semmit, but this does not affect the rating of the breakfast. Everything was prepared very tasty. Clean in the rooms.

Unfortunately the rooms were cold as there is no central heating, it took us two days to heat the room. So, either take something warm with you or it is better to come in a warmer time of the year. The only and main minus of the room is the pillows! Very uncomfortable, I couldn’t stay in such a room for a long time. Dear hotel, if you change the pillows, I’ll come back to you! I would also like to have access to hot water and tea at breakfast. Nowadays you have to ask the staff for hot drinks, and this is not very convenient when you have to ask several times.

Good location.

The doors has not lock 100% from inside. The lock can be opened by card from outside. The maids enters the room whenever they want. I saw the fact when I was there.

The staff behaviours are good and friendly.

I dont like the scam of booking.com. In the booking.com page it says the breakfast is included but when i reached in the hotel I checked from the front desk staff desktop which says it is not. There is a mismatch from booking.com and the hotel. this is the fault of booking.com. they should fix it. Other than that, the hotel stayover was good.

Great hotel in excellent location. Staff was super kind. Recently renovated and clean rooms! 2 min walking to Taksim square! Hookah lounge was a perk! We ll definitely revisit! First night my partner forgot her handback with our passports and cash, the guy in the restaurant found it and immediately contact us! HIGHLY RECOMENDED

Great location, within walking distance of the Havaist station, metro, and bus stops, and just a couple of minutes away from Taksim Square. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is pleasant and not too noisy.

The only issue we had was with the payment process. When we booked through Booking.com, we selected the option to pay at the property. However, the payment was charged in advance. Apparently, you need to message the hotel directly to confirm that you want to pay at the property.

In a time when some people are unfairly criticizing this hotel, I want to emphasize how wonderful the service and hospitality are. My family's experience was nothing like the negative reviews; instead, it was warm, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. I highly recommend Fidan City Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul—don't let a few negative comments deter you from staying at this gem of a hotel.

Not a single fault!

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is within a restaurant, with a flight of stairs going to the small reception area. 1. The room is really clean and comfortable. Though it was near a busy street, could not hear much anything outside. 2. Wifi is good and fast. 3. TV has a lot of channels, including English ones, mainly news. 4. Very close walking distance to taksim square (like 100m) and istiklal street. 5. Breakfast is simple and enough for me. Served from 8am - 10 am. The fries, even though it is cold by the time i went down, it is still somehow crispy on the outside. Superb! 6. The price for 3 nights were superb. given the location.

1. Suggest earlier serving for breakfast as I was leaving for conference that starts at 8am. A bit rushed.

Let's start with the location, the hotel is in the best spot, 1 minute walk from Taksim Square, as well as the Havabus stop (airport bus) and all the necessary transportation you will need to travel around the city. The hotel is small, but comfortable. The housekeepers cleaned the room every day. As for the staff, they are distinguished by their hospitality, it is pleasant to communicate with them. In this budget, this hotel is unbeatable.

Pack light if you are planning to stay here; Staff was not helpful in bringing our bags to the room, we had to take them up ourselves. - Room was small, there was no space for a crib. Probably why we didn't get one even though the option was selected on Booking page.
