The Food, especially breakfast, was perfect . The staff were perfectly cooperative and supportive . The only negative points for the hotel was the Parking which despite the hotel announcement in the booking for parking free in a safe area in the Hotel Parking , My car for the whole 5 days was parked in front of the Hotel which was not good at all :( . Secondly , The water of the pool was very cold and despite the request to the hotel by several guests , this issue was not solved by HOTEL . we couldn't use the HOTEL pool at all. :(

It is more like a good 4 star hotel, not 5 . There was no body lotion , shoe horn .. and has a 2 in 1 shampoo- body wash in the bathroom. The mattress was very soft.

These factors made me choose this hotel again, and I will definitely keep it as my top priority for future stays. Highly recommended!

Fabulous Hotel, very clean, amazing staff (special thanks to Omar and Sara at the reception who are extremely nice and welcoming). The rooms are good size with amazing views over the city. The breakfast is very good with lots of options, Turkish tea is great and is available all day for free. Swimming pool is great but needs to be more warm in winter times.

While the location is a bit far from the centre of Istanbul I didn’t personally find it that difficult as the hotel is close to the tram station which takes you to the centre in about 30 min.

We really liked the gym and spa department. The breakfast was good enough with quiet a bit of variation. It caught us by surprise that the hotel did not serve any alcohol, though we understood that it is because of religion. The staff were very polite and arranged us transport from the airport and back to a affordable price. The tram stop is nearby from where you can get directly to old town.

The food in the hotels restaurant was not good, ordered the most expensive meat. Unfortunately it was without spice and dry.

The location was great for us as we wanted to be a bit further away from the centre as it was likely to be noisy. Although it's a long way from the centre, there are bus stops and tram stops very close by, so it's very easy to get to the centre. The hotel itself was clean and the staff extremely friendly. The room was cleaned daily, the bed made and the towels changed. There is a mosque very close by, so it's normal to hear it, but I thought the soundproofing was good, it wasn't too disturbing (personal opinion). Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the staff were always very attentive. The gym and spa/pool services were also one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The only downside, in my opinion, was the internet, the signal wasn't great, and we had some difficulties. But overall it's excellent, grade 10

I had the pleasure of staying at Style Ibis Hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The check-in process was seamless, and I felt genuinely cared for throughout my stay. The room was spotless, spacious, and elegantly designed, with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view from the window was breathtaking. I especially appreciated the attention to small details, such as complimentary treats and high-quality toiletries. The facilities were top-notch! The pool was crystal clear and perfect for relaxing, while the gym was well-equipped. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The location is unbeatable, close to everything, making it ideal for exploring the area. Despite being central, the hotel was wonderfully quiet, ensuring restful nights. A huge thank you to the entire team at Style Ibis Hotel for making my stay unforgettable. Istanbul has plenty of hotels to choose from, making it challenging for newcomers to pick the one that ticks all boxes. Close to the Blue Mosque and other highlights of the city has its advantages. A huge drawback is the continuing noise, crowded streets, and highly overpriced hotels that characterise that area. You don't get what's advertised, pictures of rooms can be tricky out there, breakfasts and other amenities disappointing (as we've experienced first hand) Then, there's the Ibis Styles Merter Hotel. This hotel is situated at 35 minutes by tram (T1) from the city's main landmarks and 350 meters from the nearest tram stop (Mehmet Akif). The hotel offered a spontaneous room upgrade to begin with, with 37m2 of space, a gorgeous seaview (4th floor), an armchair, and a splendid bed and rain shower. The curtains completely block the sunlight and the door is massive and soundproof, making the room extremely well suited for light sleepers. The staff have been overzealous to assist us: the reception and restaurant staff have been helpful, friendly, and humorous (yet polite!). Breakfast is seriously elaborate and fresh and we had dinner at the restaurant a couple of times as well: highly recommended. Besides a swimming pool, there's a fitness with top class materials and Raya Thai Spa. Do try the spa! The masseuses are experienced professionals and we've had a relaxing experience (Bali massage). They have a couple's room, so you and your partner get massaged simultaneously. We'd enjoyed the hotel so much that we'd added another day to our stay, in the same upgraded room. The hotel radiates quality, solidity and service, it's a true 4 star. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's visiting Istanbul and prefers comfort and quality over distance. Great value for money! Therefore, a 10 score.

I booked this hotel for one night and continued to stay for a further six nights as part of some dental treatment. The check in staff were very friendly on arrival, efficient and managed to check me in a hour earlier. Clean, well lit and typical Ibis themed hotel. The linen in the rooms and cleaning was good. The cleaning lady on the 2nd floor was a friendly person and surprising said good morning to us the first day she saw us, which is very rare for some hotels in Turkey as the staff just Passby walking. I saw a variety of dishes for breakfast though some dishes weee repeated which is I assume is normal in most hotels. Adem was one more person at breakfast who made an attempt to greet most guests with a smile and very observant and efficient with his work . Had dinner in the restaurant a couple of times and i must say the quality of food, taste, presentation and price is very fair 👍 They provide an iron and iron board at no cost. All in all a good experience at Ibis Merter.

- Walls are very thin and non soun proofed - can hear the upper floor as well and neighboring rooms - pillows were not to my liking compared to other Ibis hotels

Very high value for the price I paid. The room was very functional, clean and extremely quiet. I really enjoy the view and the cleanliness. It was a very good deal. The room was really worth the price. Breakfast was excellent with fresh local food.

Despite being 4 minutes walk from TRAM T1 which directly brings you to all the must seen places (Topkapi, Blue Mosque, Old Town, Galata Tower) - the tram takes quiet long to get your there - many stops - and it's crowded
