The staff is exceptionally helpful in every way imaginable, from directions, suggestions, taxi-booking, to restaurant service during breakfast. A wonderful place for families. Location is fantastic. Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque are 10 minutes away and the tram station is 7 minutes. Grand Bazaar is about 20 minutes on foot. There are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops all over. Do note that there is an uphill climb from the hotel to go towards the center of the Sultanehmet district. Our family loved the exercise but if you are dealing with health concerns, please bear that in mind.

Excellent location, cleanliness, and facilities. There are many restaurants and shops in the surrounding area. Also, the hotel is a short walking distance to main attractions such as Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar etc. The WiFi was fast/good and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was upgraded and the staff were friendly and went above and beyond with any requests (especially the receptionist, Gul). We also used the hotel services for our airport transfer. All messages from the hotel were clear and helpful - they even sent me a lovely message to wish me a happy birthday (as it was during our trip). We didn’t include breakfast with our stay so can’t comment on this.

Nothing. Like much of Istanbul the hotel is on quite a steep hill so anyone with mobility issues might want to take this into consideration when booking.

Thank you for your kindness and support. You are by far one of the best hotel staff I have ever met. You guys are an asset to the hotel. Keep it up! The hotel is very clean, near many shops, restaurants and close by the grand bazare and the mosques. (Hagia and Blue Mosque). There are some old buildings around which made us think we are in a weird area but don't worry, everything is safe and people are nice. Teșekkürler! Görüșürüz! 🌹

Excellent hotel and recommend it to families! They were so attentive and we got extra care from the staff. Our daughter loved it at the hotel and she was looked aftered by the staff and they were so kind to her. The breakfast was great, we had omelettes every morning and they were made perfectly. Facilities, service and staff were excellent. The hotel is on a hill but in a good location. Food at the top of the hill is better than the restaurants at the bottom of the hill. Tram lines are towards the top of the hill, about 10min walk from the hotel. The hotel provide an istanbul card so you do not have to buy one. It's perfect for travel and you can use it for upto 10people. But just note is has a maximum usage.

The staff at the hotel were wonderful. They went above and beyond expectations and were happy to help with any request. The hotel was clean and the rooms were a good size and well equipped with comfortable beds. The breakfast included mostly Turkish food with some international foods including eggs, fruit, etc. The hotel is located in an older part of Istanbul with cobblestone streets, some steep hills and uneven narrow footpaths so it probably wouldn’t suit older travellers or people who have difficulty walking. It is convenient to lots of shops, local restaurants etc and a short taxi ride to the more modern side of Istanbul across the river.

The room came with a very small fridge. Some mini bar items and snacks would have been nice.

1) Staff was very helpful and courteous. 2) Hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms were thoroughly cleaned and floors mopped everyday. 3) Location of the hotel is ideal if visiting major landmarks is on your itinerary. Special acknowledgement for the incharge of Breakfast area and Gul, the receptionist.

1) Air-conditioning was tricky to figure out and room temperature kept creeping up to 30 degrees celsius . Even room service couldn't figure out the reason for same. In the end, we slept with windows open. 2) Limited selection in breakfast. It would help to add a selection of brown bread, cereals and fruits. But in fairness, they have great selection of Turkish food.

Location was good for us, it was at the bottom of the hill but there were plenty of nice eating places etc, also the walk to the main attractions was easy and if you took this way it was not up the big hill to begin with.

We paid for breakfast to be included. We were the only ones there and they served us a traditional Turkish breakfast which is fine of course because we were in Turkey but not what we were expecting from the description (buffet with both Turkish and international options). This was nice to try but was a little less desirable by day 3. Would have preferred them to explain that we were the only ones and offer us our money back and we would have ventured out. I fully understand why you wouldn't want to serve up a full buffet breakfast for 2 people.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were treated like family- Kübra makes you feel at home and went above and beyond for me and my family. I cannot fault anything at this hotel and would recommend anyone to stay here! The rooms were perfect, breakfast was a good spread everyday and it is roughly about 10-15 minute walking distance to the Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia and very close to tram lines when you need to get out and about. We will miss the team here very much and want to say thank you to them all for making us feel so welcome! One of the best hotels we have stayed at and can't wait to return one day!

Extremely friendly staff. We received a very warm welcome and Omer helped us with our luggage up the hill. Upon booking the hotel, I requested a birthday decoration for a special birthday. On arrival at the hotel the room was decorated with balloons and we had a lovely surprise of a cake! Thank you so much to Gul and staff for organising. A big thank you to the manager Kubra who changed our room as it was not big enough for 3 people, it was much appreciated. Kubra was also very helpful at breakfast time, she was super friendly and accommodated to all our requests! Lastly, a very special thank you to Omer who went above and beyond and could not help us enough. Thank you so much from all of us 🫶🏽

Family suits with separate bedrooms. Rooms were very clean. Really cute yard between blocks. Shower has a good pressure.

I didn’t like the location, even though it is only 10 minutes or less waking distance to main historic places, the hotel is located down the hill, so the walk is uphill, and it’s a difficult walk if you are visiting with older parents or younger kids.
