Access to kitchen/microwave after breakfast. Room 102 was nice, clean & spacious. 2 single beds & 1 double bed & still had lots of space with desk, stool, a table & chair, mini fridge and wardrobe. View from windows not so great but we weren't too bothered. Hot showers throughout stay and AC was good after coming in on a chilly night.

Slight smell from drainage in the bathroom ( nothing some thick beach cannot fix).

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We were fortunate to find this accommodation late in the evening after our flight back home was canceled, and the hotel team played a significant role in making our extended stay a pleasant experience. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, the breakfast is varied, and the location is excellent – just a 7-minute walk from the T1 station, which will undoubtedly be useful during your stay. We especially appreciated the front desk staff's willingness to assist us with luggage storage after check-out. We will gladly return for our next vacation in Istanbul!

We booked Rate Kadirga Antik Hotel due to an unexpected layover in Istanbul after our flight was canceled, and it turned out to be a fantastic stay! The room was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, making our short stay truly enjoyable. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old city, just a short walk from all the major landmarks. Perfect for exploring Istanbul! Highly recommend this hotel, whether for a quick stopover or a longer visit. 😊

The location is perfect, I have read in some review that the steep road to the closest tram station is an issue: yes the road is a bit steep but to be honest it literally takes 3 minutes to closes tram station, and if you walk around and take 5 minutes you can take a less step road, so no issue whatsoever. The Hotel is clean and the interior is fairly modern. Wifi was very good and the personnel very nice and always trying to help.

In my room the toilet seat was much smaller than the toilet, not a big issue but slightly annoying, also because it would not stand without me holding it with my hands. Also it was very close to the shower, so a bit uncomfortable to use. Also there was no kettle, it would be nice to have the change to have coffee in the room. All minor issues anyway but worth mentioning them. Beds were a bit too soft for my taste.

The beds were excellent, in terms of location - not too far from the tram stop and walking distance from most things. Very kind and friendly staff who catered to all our needs, great value for money and an ideal stay for anyone looking to stay near the Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet area. A hidden gem and perfect weekend getaway hotel. The rooms were cleaned daily, cooling was very good, and overall a pleasant stay

Cleanliness could be improved a tad, and if you don't mind a steep climb every morning to the tram stop then this hotel is perfect for you. These factors are easily outweighed by friendly staff and overall great value for money.

Everything went very well. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and looked as advertised. It was quiet, peaceful, and there is a lovely rooftop terrace. The location was very convenient as it is very close to all the main attractions, yet located on a quieter street. It is great for short-term stays, but we spent there almost 2 weeks and did not regret this decision. Before I left, I forgot a couple items of clothing in the room, and everyone was very accommodating to help me get it back — very much appreciated! All in all, I can recommend this hotel and would definitely consider staying there again.

The property is very good value & very close to SultanahMet Square and all public transit. 10 minute walk up steep hill.

The hotel was on a very steep hill small street — I would not advise for anyone with small children and strollers or elderly travelers. but if you don’t care about any of that it’s the perfect location and very good value with wonderful friendly staff. we really appreciated the kindness extended to us for our special needs by gıest service staff — especially Ibrahim and Ali — and the hotel manager who came to meet us! Çok Teşekkürler ederim!

It was an excellent experience. Things were as mentioned on the website and everyone was honest. The airport pickup and drop was well managed. It is great value for money, very clean and the staff is super nice. It has an ideal location with historic sites, bazaars and transportation within walking distance. Highly recommended especially for families

Everything was nice. However a word of caution for families with old people. The hotel is on a slope which may be difficult for some. Was not a problem for us as everyone in our family is fit with my kids in high school and college.

The staff is so polite and friendly. Never met people so humble. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. We even decided to extend our stay with them for 3 more days. The were upgraded to a very big room upon our arrival. The hotel is very clean and in a quiet neighbourhood. Just a few minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar and the Galata Tower. So many restaurants around and they close very late. This neighbourhood is very safe even for solo travelling women. Late night walks on the streets of Istanbul felt real safe.

After a lot of searches , I booked this hotel for my family (4) , believe me this hotel was the best choice I made , very neat n clean , excellent cooperative staff always ready to help you out. The breakfast was superb , very freshly cooked 🍳 😋 and very scrumptious. The hotel is near to restaurants and train station (about 7 mints).
