My first impressions are still valid. Very polite and helpful staff. Clean lobby, clean room and delicious breakfast. Note: They have increased the variety of breakfast. It is better this way, guys. I think it should continue like this in every way.☺️

The location is great, lots to explore nearby.. Hardly a 7 mins walk from Blue mosque..

Room ventilation isn’t great.. The breakfast could do with more variety.

Hotel open 24/7. Our flight was in the evening. After we checked out at 12:00, they kept our luggage free of charge throughout the day.

The young guys at the reception organize taxis and transfers to the airport. I stayed for 1 night. Everything was great

When we first arrived we weren't happy with the room provided, but the host was very helpful and immediately changed our room to one we were happy with. The location was excellent within walking distance of all main tourist attractions. The helpfulness of the staff is what made this stay so great. There is a small buffet breakfast every morning. Our room had plenty of fresh towels, shampoo, shower gel, soap and a small fridge. There is also a kettle and tea, coffee and water dispenser machine downstairs for use throughout the day. It makes a delicious Mocha. The AC worked very well in our room. There are lots of shops nearby. There is plenty of storage area in the room. We stayed in a triple for 6 nights in room 402. Thank you so much for a great stay. We really enjoyed Istanbul.

Some small adjustments would have made things even better. The iron is not in great condition and there is no board. We made use of the laundry service on the same road instead. There is no full length mirror in the room for those that need it. There is a dressing table mirror though but lighting above it wasn't great. The toilet seat needs some adjustment. The area where the buffet is served was often not air conditioned and the food was not covered (away from flies etc). Black out curtains would have been great also, but not necessary. This isn't a criticism of the hotel itself, but all should be aware that the hotel is on a very VERY steep incline. It would be difficult for the elderly, disabled and unfit.

location, breakfast & proximity to attractions, transport, shops & restaurants . Attentive staff, luggage storage & scales, safe & secure 24 hour front desk. Lift after walking all day. Access to kitchen/microwave after breakfast. Room 102 was nice, clean & spacious. 2 single beds & 1 double bed & still had lots of space with desk, stool, a table & chair, mini fridge and wardrobe. View from windows not so great but we weren't too bothered. Hot showers throughout stay and AC was good after coming in on a chilly night.

Slight smell from drainage in the bathroom ( nothing some thick beach cannot fix).

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We were fortunate to find this accommodation late in the evening after our flight back home was canceled, and the hotel team played a significant role in making our extended stay a pleasant experience. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, the breakfast is varied, and the location is excellent – just a 7-minute walk from the T1 station, which will undoubtedly be useful during your stay. We especially appreciated the front desk staff's willingness to assist us with luggage storage after check-out. We will gladly return for our next vacation in Istanbul!

We booked Rate Kadirga Antik Hotel due to an unexpected layover in Istanbul after our flight was canceled, and it turned out to be a fantastic stay! The room was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, making our short stay truly enjoyable. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old city, just a short walk from all the major landmarks. Perfect for exploring Istanbul! Highly recommend this hotel, whether for a quick stopover or a longer visit. 😊

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Nice, very clean hotel with a perfect location, close to all tourist attractions (10 min walk), bars, cafes, shops. Very friendly and caring staff. Good breakfasts with a variety of local food (very tasty). Coffe machine available 24/7. Big thank you to the lady who was serving breakfast and was looking after us and making sure we had everything. Reception staff are also very friendly and happy to help anytime. Very good communication prior to our arrival. Good value for money. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Big comfortable room with lovely clean bathroom. Nice little private balcony looking upon the busy street and larger shared rooftop with city and port views. Staff checking us in were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Offered to make us up a breakfast to go when we communicated we were going to be checking out well before included breakfast started.

WiFi did not work well in our room at all or upon the rooftop. It was noted there were three different networks, one for each floor and all performed intermittently at best. We were trying to download podcasts for a long drive the next day and had to sit in the stairwell for it to work. Also had a bit of a potentially innocent moment where a younger staff member knocked on our door holding an air conditioner remote (we did not have a remote in our room but made no note of it) and a room key. When I answered (in boxer shorts) he shied away and apologised but didn’t come back to my calls that it was fine and what did he need. Could have got the wrong room but also potentially dodgy (it was by no means a hot night).
