this is a delightful, boutique hotel, only 8 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome etc, in an antique residential part of Sultanhamet...very atmospheric walking the streets. We stayed 6 nights and had a full-on view of the Sea of Marmaris, and on a clear day it was wonderful seeing the colors, and the dozens of ships at anchor and plying the routes up to the Bosporous. The staff were exceptionally helpful in arranging airport transfers, and welcoming. The room was adequate in size, and the bathroom was a nice size with all modern amenities. Elevators...yeah! ...it was all great! Thank you!

nothing the hotel can control...3 nearby mosques start call to prayer at 5am (but that's the same all over Istanbul), and a flock of raucus sea gulls like to perch on nearby buildings in the early mornings...bring earplugs!

Location is excellent, 10 minutes walk away from Blue Mosque/Hagia Sophia/ Topkapi Palace/ Grand bazaar. We spent a lot of nights watching seagulls, eating corn and drinking tea in Sultanahmet square when we were free from our daytime activities. The hotel staff are also very kind. They have very good tour offers, and suggest things to do with tours and without tours. They even helped me order in food from their own mobile. The room was very tidy, had mostly all the basic facilities. Was also quiet at night time.

There was a slight smell coming from the bathroom, but not too strong to complain about. Also slippers that were provided are of a low quality so bring your own. Thankfully there is a convenience store nearby where you can buy lots of things (shampoo etc)

Definitely the location. Centric and of easy access to the city centre, the mosques, restaurants and other attractions.

When we arrived, we were told that the room we booked (economic) was in the basement with just a tiny window. That wasn’t mentioned anywhere during the booking so I felt the need to upgrade it to a standard one. Maybe that’s ok if you don’t mind sleeping on a basement, but would have been nice to have that information earlier so one can book the type of room one needs and not to make budget readjustments during the trip. The hotel preferred payments with cash (liras), which considering this room upgraded implied to almost run out of cash pretty soon. Same with the pick up from the airport. For me, hotels shoukd take credit cards and leave cash for small businesses.

Location of the hotel is great! Only a walk away from all the main attractions and restaurants. Liked that they have a lift (we have a toddler and pram), it helped a lot with the luggage’s also. Breakfast is nice, there is an array of hot food as well as cold. Staff are polite and friendly. The shower was brilliant, lovely and strong plus drainage wasn’t an issue (only problem was the holder was broken so you had to hold the shower head).

Picture of the budget room wasn’t accurate, they must’ve gotten the images mixed up whilst uploading. Nonetheless we didn’t mind. Wasn’t too fond of the linen on the bed as the flat sheet was too small and kept coming off of the mattress which was rather annoying. WiFi didn’t work for half of our stay (which was important for us to plan our trip).

The premises was clean and close to many of the attractions and restaurants.

At the time of reservation the picture shown as the booked room didn't match the room we were offered & we were asked if we wanted to upgrade to get a better room with extra 1,975 lira which we did because the room we were shown was very very small and there were barely any room to walk. With the extra money the room we got had a TV but was not working. Their safe was not working. We ran out of toilet paper which was not refilled during room service. People at reception had not much smile in their face which made us unwelcomed.

Located at Sultanahmet, only a short walking distance to places such as the Blue mosque and grand bazaar the room was well maintained and clean with a nice view ( I happened to be given a free room upgrade, so bear in mind this hotel also has a basement roo with no windows) most importantly, the staff was friendly and sincerely willing to help. you WILL hear noises from outside (the birds, the neighborhood cat, and the call to prayer from the mosques). This is part of the local culture and hence is applicable to the entire neighborhood. A heads up for light sleepers...

Lovely hotel in Turkish style within walking distance (400m) of the central Sultanahmet Meydanı (square on the site of the old Hippodrome) with the Blue Mosque. The Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the many museums and Grand Bazar are all within walking distance. The location is really sublime. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We had booked a budget room. It turned out to be in the basement and had no windows. (That was not clear to us when booking). Fortunately, the staff spontaneously gave us an upgrade to a great room on the 4th floor. This room was also fully equipped, including a refrigerator, air conditioning, excellent bed and bathroom. Everything was very clean. The hotel has a modern elevator. The breakfast buffet is simple, but fine. An omelette will be baked for you on request. When it is busy in the hotel, the equivalent breakfast facilities in the hotel next door, where there is slightly more space, are used. In the immediate vicinity are restaurants and supermarkets.

We actually have no criticisms of the hotel itself; which is just great. The city center and immediate surroundings are not suitable for disabled people (steep and busy streets and poor sidewalks). Also keep in mind that at sunrise (which is early....) you may be awakened by the call to prayer from one of the nearby mosques. But with the window closed, it won't bother you much.

All the staff were super friendly! They upgraded my room for free from a budget double room to a bedroom with one single and one double bed on a higher floor with a clear view out the window and air conditioning with complimentary slippers and toiletries! They also pulled out a map to show us all the routes we could take to see the main attractions in Istanbul and helped us book an airport transfer shuttle in a limousine for only €30.

The hotel's location in the city center was a major highlight. Being in close proximity to popular attractions, dining options, and shopping destinations made our exploration of the city incredibly convenient. We found ourselves within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The cleanliness of the hotel was remarkable. From check-in to room service, every interaction with the hotel staff was met with professionalism, with their warm and friendly demeanour.

What truly stood out was the absence of any negative aspects during our stay. There were no issues with noise, the Wi-Fi was consistently reliable, and the amenities provided met our expectations.

Mustafa helped us so much! He gave us many tips and was very nice to us. The room was very clean and beautiful. The mattress was very comfortable

It would have been nice to have water for the guests. But everything was on point.
