A small cozy hotel is located in a walking distance from main sightseeings in Sultanahmet area. There is no elevator, but staff is always happy to help with your luggage. We had only carry-on luggage so no problems for us with upper floor. More details: 1. Room - Our room was cozy enough for 2 (3rd floor, see view, no balcony). The beds were comfortable enough and at the end of our stay, the hotel management were in the process to change all mattresses. So future guests will have completely new beds; - shower was OK (don't expect really hot water, just warm enough), shower conrner near toilet is leaking but bathroom gets dry in a few hours, so no mess in general. But dear staff, please, replace the waterproofing around the perimeter of the shower; - toilet is walking, toiletries are replenished. If you are out of anything just request; - windows are not soundproofed and remember it's an old building in the old city. If you need 100% silence, this hotel is not for you or take earplugs. The hotel is not far from mosques so you will hear sounds if you sleep not very well. 2. Breakfast Breakfast is good enough. Don't expect luxurious food. Just basic food (hot and cold). It was enough to feel full for a long time (eggs, cheese, sausages, cucumbers, tomatos, fries, etc.) 3. Surroundings We felt safe even during night time. The old black wooden building we considered as a plus, it helps in navigation: when you see this building you know Your hotel is around the corner so you don't even need your google maps. A nice place to eat is just arround the corner as well (with good prices and comfy food) -Özlem Karadeniz Pide Kebap Salonu. In general, for us combination of location/ price/ cleaning worked well, so we would recommend the hotel to our friends.

We liked absolutely everything about our stay at this hotel. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, a few minutes walk from the most famous attractions. We stayed in the honeymoon room with a large terrace, which offers a wonderful view of the sea and the Blue Mosque. The room itself is also very beautiful, cleaned daily, has all the amenities - hot water, toiletries, a hairdryer, a teapot with coffee and tea, the room temperature is adjustable, the internet works perfectly throughout the hotel. The breakfast is also very tasty and there is always something different every day. I can't find words to express how grateful I am to the host of the hotel, who took care of us from the very first day - asked how we were feeling, made sure we didn't lack anything, gave us a map of the city, circling all the sights and explaining how to get to them, planned a boat trip on the Bosphorus Strait for us, a visit to a hammam, comfortable transportation to the airport, I could name and name... this is a person who greeted us every day with a smile, a person who sincerely cares about the experience of every hotel visitor. We would also like to thank the entire hotel staff, the women who cleaned our room and cooked a delicious breakfast. Thanks to all the employees, we felt at home here. We are already looking forward to our second visit to Istanbul and we know that we will return to this hotel!

We liked everything about this hotel, but when choosing a honeymoon room, you should consider your possibility of going up to the 4th floor. For us personally, this was not a problem.

We had a wonderful stay in Istanbul at the Ersari Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and we enjoyed spending time on the balcony with sea view. The location is ideal to visit many of the top attractions in Istanbul, it is less than a 10 minute walk to Sultanhamet Square and the nearby tram makes getting around easy. There are lots of nice shops for both souvenirs and daily needs within walking distance. The staff at Ersari Hotel was exceptional and very kind. They were always willing to help with anything we needed, including booking a taxi from the airport and accommodating our late check-in. The breakfast included with our reservation was also excellent. Overall, we would not hesitate to stay at Ersari Hotel again and to recommend to others.

The location was amazing! We were near the most important city highlights and also close to very good restaurants. Ersari Hotel was excellent, we stayed in a small bedroom with a bathroom, and it was very clean and the decoration was very nice. The staff was very nice and willing to help. We really enjoyed our stay in there.

I personally think that the towels shouldn't be changed every day (at least for the environment)... They should have something you can put on the door asking them not to change the towels so it would be up to each guest if they want or not new towels every day.

I liked helpful and caring staff. They explained about any question we had. I liked their nice and fresh breakfast and clean rooms. Thank you very much for the excellant services. Overall we had a nice and peasant experience and thanks a lot for their services:)

I did not like the room location, I did not like the pillows on the bed or any kind of bed bug that gave me itching. The bathroom tap also was broken, they need more attention.

Excellent location, only few mins walk uphill. Really friendly, kind staff especially the woman who was there to greet us at breakfast time. The room was clean, shower was good, bed very comfortable with beautiful decor in the room, and the balcony was a great addition to our stay, with a good view from there. It was quiet in the area, with a shop very closeby if you needed anything.The breakfast room was a lovely space with lovely decor, seats outside and the breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, with hot food including omelette,halal sausages, chips, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, salad etc. When we requested - the staff kindly made us breakfast sandwiches to take away when we were going on a trip. Some great restaurants and take away places nearby. Would stay here again.

The view from the room was impacted from the overgrown trees in the building in front of the hotel but this is not the hotel's issue. For me personally, very small things - another set of drawers and a little do not disturb/housekeeping door handle sign would have been helpful.

Cleanliness, very very kind and helpful staff (when my shoe got broken the guy on reception really like fixed my shoe and sewed it 😭, and the other guy took time to explain to me how to commute to the airport. Very very nice people. Location is perfect just perfect, breakfast is great! I was so full many too choose from. They clean everyday, water, bed, aircon all working no problem a really good value for money and you got more from the service. Love everything about this hotel. The view is amazing from the balcony too. All of the staff are sooo sweet and genuine omg cant thank u all enough ❤️ ill come visit again and stay here again ❤️ gonna recommend fof my family and friends for sure ❤️

The location is very good, walking distance to tram and most poppular sights and with good selection. The room was clean, the breakfast was very tasty. Was everything perfect - no, but those tiny details that could have been better, were compensated by a very nice and kind staff. I would stay at this hotel again.

While sea view was is there and my room had a really nice and big terrace, it was facing an abondoned and deteriorated building.

Very well located Hotel. You're about 15-20 minutes walk from the Sultan Ahmad Square wich in this area you can find some of Istanbuls main attractions so as the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cisternen and Hagia Sofia. Another 20-25 min of walking from that square you can find the Grand Bazaar. Tramways are running beside the square, which can take even further into Istanbul city. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't say anything about that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a well-located affordable standard accommodation, I can recommend you this one. (The nearby mosque wakes you up early in the morning with its call but I guess this applies to most of the hotels and accommodation since there are mosques around the city)

The hotel is in the heart of Istanbul, located only a 8min walk to historical sites such as The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. It’s very charming and has a mix of Turkish classic design with a modern touch. It’s very clean and the staff are exceptional. They sorted the transport for us to and from the airport and helped with every request we had. The breakfast was varied and delicious! Thank you Ersari hotel for making this trip very special. We will definitely come back soon!
