I had a really great stay at this hotel. I originally booked a room without windows, but when I checked in, the staff kindly gave me a free upgrade to a room with windows and an amazing view of the Bosphorus! The room was super clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location is also perfect — just a short walk to places like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, but still quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. I was traveling alone and felt completely safe the whole time. The staff were always friendly and ready to help if I needed anything. Overall, I’m really happy I chose this place and would definitely stay here again!

We were absolutely satisfied with our stay at this hotel! The location was ideal—close to Istanbul’s most famous landmarks, yet in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds. The highlight, however, was the breathtaking view of the Bosphorus, which truly elevated our experience. The service was impeccable, with the staff always being polite and attentive. Although there was a small mix-up with the rooms, it was resolved immediately and in the best possible way. A special thank you to Emre, who handled the issue swiftly and efficiently. We sincerely appreciate the management and the entire team for their excellent hospitality. P.S. The bellboy was truly outstanding—a professional in every sense of the word! Thank you, little one! We really enjoyed oure stay at Theodian hotel. The hospitality and the informal smalltalk/jokes connection with the guys and Owner made oure holiday ... a perfect stay for the price and location. We even had a free 3 day breakfast! (in oure situation), Probably with the bookings some little miscommunication at arrival. But an senior member, managed it swift and big-hearted giving us a free breakfast for oure holiday trip at there hotel. In summary: - Perfect hotspot location for seeing the big attractions at walking distance and tram stuff. - Well priced for what you get and a Real see view with descent sitting table balcony. - Fast but small elevator, This is an little hotel, so barely no waiting issues ;). - Breakfast is fresh, and healthy. Good value for money, great place if you are on a budget. Excellent location, situated on a short walk from the main attractions. Very friendly and helpful receptionist and staff, they went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay, they even upgraded my room to a bigger one. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the towels were changed every day, and the air-conditioning and free WiFi worked very well throughout the hotel. I would definitely recommend Theodian Hotel.

Nice accomodation near main sights - Blue Mosque, Ai Sofia. Although room needs some renovation it is clean and tidy, there is cleaning every day, new towels, soap, shampoo were provided. There was a good breakfast every day, cleaning team tries to do their all the best. There was a good discount during my stay, good value for money. Guys at reception helped me with my luggage

It would be nice to clean territory outside windows, there is rubbish, waste outside window, it is not room territory but seems to be territory of the hotel. I see Turkish people are untidy, drop waste were possible in the streets but it would be nice to clean it.

I was so pleased with how accommodating and kind the staff were. They make sure you have a comfortable stay and are always there to support you. My flights were outside of the check in and check out times and they made sure I'm looked after and let me stay and wait until I needed to be at the airport. I really appreciate the effort and friendliness. Would definitely recommend!

Furthermore, the location offers convenient access to prominent landmarks, including the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and nearby attractions such as the Cistern Basilica and Topkapi Palace, all within a short walking distance.

The location is perfect. The staff were super helpful and friendly. They helped us with how to get to the airport and a really early hour. The room was big with a great view over the sea. Then the balcony on the roof was amazing for views and a nice place to have a beer in the evening. I know where I'm staying when I come back to Istanbul.
