I stayed with my family for 14 days and here’s my review: We booked two rooms , one basement and one 1st floor. - First floor room was big enough - location is so good near to the tram and many nice places. - room service was coming everyday I’d rate the cleaning over all 8/10 but toiletries and tissues were replaced everyday - stuff were nice and helpful - there is no and mold or bad smell from the basement rooms Over all I’m very satisfied about my stay

- Basement room was small - the hotel location is on steep , bit hard for elders - walls were thin , you can hear people in the lobby or other rooms but it was oki because I faced this issue with most of the hotels I’ve been to

I would like to point out that the hotel staff was very kind and accommodating to us. They changed our rooms and gave us a bigger one, which is very kind of them.

I liked the comfort of the room, the staff were really helpful if we had any questions they answered it, if we had any issues we just had to tell them and they were sorted. When checking out the staff helped us out with our suitcases by helping us take them outside and waited outside for the taxi with us. We were two girls but we found it really safe living in this hotel, we also booked the bospherus dinner cruise with them which was cheaper. Highly recommended if you want a budget hotel in an area which is close to the city centre. The hotel was in a good location, the supermarket blue mosque, museum everything was just eight minutes by walk. Mr Emin was helpful and guided us with eveything in Istanbul in regards to where we can go. My recommendation would be to not look at the bad reviews of the hotel before booking as our experience was really good. I like the staff at this Hotel created a welcoming and friendly environment for us. It's always a great feeling when the rooms are cleaned daily, I'm glad we had a great experience there. It's always great when the hotel staff is knowledgeable and helpful in providing recommendations for the best places to visit. Mr. Emin wonderful guide! I'm glad we had such a positive experience at Laila Hotel.

We arrived at the property at around 1:30-2am at night, the room we were given was huge, it was also on the ground floor so after a long day it was very convenient. The staff were great, Enes replaced our mattress, fridge and telephone as soon as we told him to and was extremely friendly. The cleaners were also very nice and would clean the room whenever you told them to. The location was absolutely amazing since it was just a 5 minute walk to Sultanahmet and the main tram lines. There’s also a 16th century mosque nearby which is very helpful if you want to do prayers there. The decor of the room was also very cute. There’s also a line of hotels in the same street Laila Hotel is in so walking around at night always felt safe as you do see tourists walk about at any hour. When my dad and brother went to do Fajr prayer they walked around for an hour everyday without any problems so that’s a major plus point. Overall the hotel was amazing value for money for us and we were treated very kindly.

If you want to use the balcony you have to go to The Reina hotel (their sister branch) which is literally round the corner a minute away. However, the view makes it totally worth it. You do have to walk up a hill however the whole city is full of hills and it also strengthens your calf muscles.

I was looking for a budget friendly hotel for my one month stay in Istanbul, my top priority was cleanliness, I must say I was pleasantly surprised about the outcome of my stay. The hotel itself was very comfortable, nice room, which was being cleaned every day. The staff also were very nice people: friendly, always ready to help ( at first I was put on the ground floor, I asked for the room change and they did it without any trouble, which Im grateful for). Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who looks for budget friendly, nice, most importantly clean hotel with great location.

It was very comfortable without noise and it's location very good close to everything, and good about money. It was cleaning. Good services

The way to the hotel was difficult because there is a small slope between its streets. There are many biting insects. The bed not comfortable so much.

The hotel is located in a perfect location! So close to many attractions and the tram, easily reachable by walk. The staff was very kind and helpful especially Mr. Amin who made my stay very comfortable. Unlike many reviews here, the room was okay and clean. The area and the hotel were very safe. But some things if upgraded would be much better like the bed mattresses and the toilet sink sometimes leaps water when opened.

Everything qas smooth from checking in to checking out, the guy behind the counter when we arrived at midnight had the energy to get us excited again. Would recommend to anyone especially with the price of the hotel

Left the front door open obviously to let people who are staying in, but anyone can get in so maybe get a key card or pin for the front door but that's it

last month i stayed here 8 nights with my family. once we arrived, I didn’t expect that this hotel is so much close to aya sofya area. this hotel is not like 5 star hotel but I assured you all of the staff here were very friendly & also helpful. me & my family were so happy stayed here even though there were some problems when we stayed here, but they handled it very well. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for the hotel nearest aya sofya area & you don’t like uphill street this is the best choice!!

kinda dirty & some of the things inside the room are very old, but you can always ask for help here.

-The hotel is in such a good location, very close to most of the attractions and in the heart of the city with many shopping centres and public transportation available very nearby. The area and the neighbourhood is very safe as well. -The rooms were clean and comfortable with good housekeeping. The rooms had a safe and a wardrobe and enough room for storage. -The staff were the best, they are so helpful and nice. They accommodated all our requests and was always super helpful and welcoming. They also helped us with stuff like taxi, getting guidance on location and transportation as well as ordering food for us. They were just a call away. Excellent service, loved it really. Thanks to their manager Mehmet and his lovely staff like Karam, Jewahir namely... all of the others among them are so nice as well. -It was sooo good value for money. -Overall experience was great. Everything was beyond our expectations. They really are well trained with exceptional customer service. Would recommend it to anyone thinking of an excellent stay in Istanbul for a reasonable and affordable price.
