I stayed 3 nights. I was first given a wrong room (smaller and without a balcony). The next day I got the room I had booked. I judge the place in accordance how they remedy the situation. The manager offered me an extra night (on my return) without a charge, which shows me customer service oriented approach. Pros: - location was perfect for my purposes, everything in walking distance. NOTE: it is really hilly (I ended up ordering a transportation to the irport as I did not feel like pulling my luggage 10min steep up hill to a tram station). - room was spacious and bed was comfy.

Cons: - there were 3 different male staff members at the reception and I was not convinced of their customer service skills. - rooms (I experienced 3 different ones) are so outdated and unrepaired that they look dirty. Some places such as fridge or door of a safety box undoubtedly has not been cleaned (sticky). Also having no cover on a light swich causes a hazard. - sound proof non-excistent ( I slept with ear plugs) as the voices from upstairs, downstairs and across the hall were audible. - a/c appliance was not working properly.

Excellent small hotel with everything I needed for my holiday. It’s is very central located, near to shops and restaurants but very quiet at night. The staff was excellent and we felt attended on everything we needed very kindly and promptly. A special thank you to the housekeeper lady that was extremely polite and did an amazing work every day every time with the best smile on her face and another special big thank you also to the newest incorporated reception guy that made us feel very welcome every time we were coming back to the hotel. Thank you guys all, we will definitely repite here hopefully in a short time.

Just to mention something, maybe some international tv channels.

Location, location, location. All tourist places are within 1 kilometer. Staff is friendly. Room was clean. I was able to leave my car in front. That was not strictly legal, but was a huge bonus. If you arrive by car, Sultanahmet is not for inexperienced drivers. Driving in Istanbul is hard, but can still be done. You have to understand that you can't stay in new properties in this part of the city so I was very pleased with amount of effort they put into renovating interior and exterior of the building.

One light switch was broken, which could be dangerous.

The boss is very friendly and patient with a lot of requests from us and helped with the luggage. We booked airport transfer (SAW) to and from the hotel both ways and it was VVIP level with a reasonable price! The location is gold and easy to travel on foot to the key attractions, and also staying away from the main traffic to be quiet enough. Definitely exceeding our expectations.

A little bit hair in a hidden corner but not a big deal to me.

None. They don’t have breakfasts though but there’s a very good reaustarant right across the street

Location was good, but travellers should be aware it is further from the tram stop than it may appear. Availability of a washing machine free of charge was great. Wifi was good
