I choose the room with the sea view, and it was really nice, last floor room with amazing view. Room was clean, with nice large bed, bathroom and the rest was ok. Staff was really nice, always ready to help, special thanks to Bayram.

It’s not far from the main street with the tram, but the road is uphill ...but the whole of Istanbul is basically hilly)

Rooms are true to pictures, they even gave us a superior room (for 3 instead of 2 people), so it was very comfortable for us. Big and clean bathroom with many amenities, they also offered room cleaning every day if needed (free of charge). It exceeded our expectations because the room seemed new and there were no noises from outside. Comfortable beds. The location was very close to the main touristic activities, and has a few restaurants nearby for dinner.

The first day there was no running water because of a broken pipe in our street (this wasn't the hotel's fault, but they did not offer water bottles and they forgot to mention this incident). The wifi worked very badly specially the first days, they fixed it by the end of our stay.

Hotel Armar is an excellent choice for those seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in Istanbul. The rooms are very comfortable, with beds that ensure a good night’s sleep. The air conditioning works perfectly, providing a pleasant environment even on the hottest days. Additionally, the soundproof windows are a significant advantage, allowing guests to enjoy tranquility and comfort.

there are some aspects that may be inconvenient for some guests. The bathroom is enclosed with glass, and the door is transparent, which may not be ideal for those who prefer more privacy while using the bathroom, especially if they are not alone. Additionally, the shower stall was a bit dirty, and the water took a while to drain properly.

The hotel is beautiful, everything look new and very well tended. The position is very convenient, just 5 minute walks from blue mosque and city and 10 minutes about underground stations … The staff was very nice and helpful, and I want to mention in particular youssef is the best and also all the receptionist in the hotel and the owners ❤️🙏, that helped us with the check in and check out processes, she was incredibly nice and made us felt welcome in every possible way. The staff (especially Abdullah and Orhan) were extremely friendly and could speak English very well (which is very rare in Istanbul). The sea view room was absolutely gorgeous. The room was very clean. I had to private message them again to thank them for the nice stay. Highly recommended.

The lobby could use some renovation and redecoration. However, the staff's friendliness lights the place up. Great people. The place could use breakfast facilities, but there are tons of great food places around so I recommend having breakfast outside in Turkey's beautiful weather anyway, so it's really not an issue. There are differences in the room qualities, so I hope they renovate all the rooms to be as great as the room they gave me. Overall extremely positive experience. Looking forward to coming here again!

The location is great, is safe, in city center, lots of stores, supermarkets, food, coffee, restaurants, anything you want. The view was beautiful, we stayed at the 6th floor and we could see the Blue Mosque and the sea. The room was clean and the staff was very nice especially Omar who took care of us. I highly recomand this hotel and can’t wait to come back

Hotel is great, staff is perfect. Many thanks to a man who met me on my arrival (unfortunately I didn't ask his name). And special thanks to Bayram who was very helpful with tons of my suitcases on my departure early in the morning. The hotel is bright and very clean, location is great. There's a kettle and tea/coffee in the room, many towels, shampoo and soap.

The only thing I missed was a lack of slippers, but I could live without them.

The view from the 6th floor was stunning. Though the room is not big, it was very comfortable even for a long stay. The bed was comfortable, and they afforded us with extra pillows and blankets. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is very neer to Sultan Ahmed area with many sight seeing places. The tram is 5 min away from the hotel. There are many resturants and minimarkets around the hotel.

It would have been better if they offered breakfast even if simple one. The towels are a bit old.

The staff, especially Bayram, were so incredibly welcoming and helpful. Bayram gave us really good tips for Istanbul, and brought us tea every time we came back to the hotel. We also had very good chats with him about life. The rooms were a decent size, definitely worth the cost. And the rooftop had an epic view of Istanbul, with the blue mosque easily visible.

Very friendly staff. They upgraded our room for free and were always there for us. The location is excellent. Good value for money.

The room we stayed in urgently needs renovations. No place to put your essentials in the shower. The glass door separating the bathroom from the room had a significant gap which means that there was no soundproofing and no privacy at all. If I weren't with family, I would feel extremely awkward and embarrassed when using the bathroom.
