1-I booked room with breakfast and lounge access but at the check in the receptionist said no you don’t have breakfast. Then I showed her my booking where it says breakfast is included. She had to call and confirm it with reservations department. 2- booked a room for two people and did not request an extra bed. I had to call room service to remove the extra bed. 3-room keys didn’t work to access the lounge they had to replace them

Really good hotel and very modern

Super friendly staff 10/10 (Honorable mention to mr. Mohammed at the reception), amazing decor and interior design, Very neat and clean as if the hotel opened recently , the rooms are very large and their designs are so beautiful. I absolutely loved the spacious toilet layout, the terrace was also big and the view is absolutely serene! we could here the ocean from our room. The attention to smallest details in the room to make everything convenient for the guest is the best I've ever seen. The indoor pool is beyond lovely with the large windows on the wall and ceiling for direct sunlight. the outside area is very beautiful to walk around both in day and nighttime. pretty much everything was perfect!

The bed mattress was too firm. The outdoor walking routes tend to have dead ends that prevents you from accessing nearby lively areas, you have to make a long detour to reach despite it being very close by.

Our stay at Marriott Marmara Sea lasted almost a month, and throughout this time the service was truly exceptional. The hotel fully met our expectations: comfortable rooms, perfect cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. We would like to especially thank Muhammad — such a kind and responsive person who always handled any requests promptly and with great care. We came for medical treatment, and the hotel kindly provided us with a wheelchair for the entire duration of our stay, as well as regular ice and everything else we needed for our comfort. The breakfasts and food at the hotel were delicious and varied, making every morning a real pleasure. We are truly grateful to the entire hotel team for their attentiveness and outstanding service. It was the first time I experienced such a caring and thoughtful staff! We will definitely come back to your hotel again!

Spacious, clean rooms, with staff that went above and beyond to give us a relaxing experience. Location was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still had good transport links into the city which was fairly easy to navigate. There was a variety of options for breakfast, with both hot and cold food available.

Room service was a bit overpriced and in euros instead of lira. The hotel restaurant lacked traditional Turkish food which diminished the experience as well as having limited food options for children. Would have been nice if there were milk pods in the room to have with the tea provided.

It is an incredible hotel with great facilities, a few meters from the sea, fabulous breakfast, and amazing staff. We will come back for sure.

Maybe you can provide a memory foam anatomic pillows to the guests and be the best hotel in Turkye ever :)

Room: Our room was spacious, elegant, and immaculately clean, with a stunning view of the Marmara Sea. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every detail — from the lighting to the bathroom amenities — reflected thoughtful design and high standards. Location: The hotel’s location is ideal — peaceful and serene by the sea, yet still within reasonable reach of the city’s key attractions. It offers the perfect mix of relaxation and accessibility, especially for those wanting to escape the busy city after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast: Breakfast was a real highlight. The variety and quality were exceptional — from freshly prepared eggs and local specialties to fresh juices and pastries. Everything was beautifully presented, and the staff ensured a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. The Executive Lounge deserves special mention — a calm and exclusive space to unwind, with excellent snacks, drinks, and attentive service throughout the day. Overall, JW Marriott Marmara Sea not only lived up to its brand’s promise — it exceeded our expectations. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Marmara Sea in Istanbul, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The room was impressively spacious — much larger than most hotel rooms I’ve stayed at in Istanbul — providing a perfect balance of comfort and luxury. What made my stay even more memorable was the outstanding staff. Every team member I encountered was extremely friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my visit was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality and memorable stay in Istanbul.

The location is not so close to the downtown.

It was very disappointing when in your booking clearing mentioned additional toilet is available and in reallity is not there. When we bring it to their attention they says sorry this is mistake from Booking.com and they told me to wait and try to solve it. After more than an hour they came back they cannot provide a room which was booked. I felt it was pure raisism to treat us this way.

I came to Istanbul for business, feeling very stressed, but from the moment I arrived at JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea, I felt right at home. The service was truly amazing - professional, kind, and always helpful. A special thank you to Kağan, Gamze, and Doğa. They made sure everything was perfect during my stay and made me feel very welcome. The hotel is beautiful, with new and stylish furniture. Everything is modern, clean, and very comfortable.
