Lovely small apartment with pretty much everything you would need. 2 English channels on TV which was welcome to my eyes as I had been to the dentist and had to stay home the whole time! Great staff.....good english and they will book you on trips, order food for you, or taxi's etc. Great location

The only issue I had was the building work going on every day next door.....this really should have been mentioned aas I am a very light sleeper and it disturbed me. Heavier sleepers probably wouldn't notice though.

Location is perfect. Level of service and hospitality was great, staff was ready to help us with all our questions and needs. Our room was not spacious, which is typical for this area of Istanbul. The room was equipped with all necessary kitchen appliances. This hotel is ideal for 2-3 nights in Istanbul, especially if you have a child and a baby stroller (the area around the hotel is not as hilly as, for example, in Sultanahmet)

If you go without extra expectations, everything will be fine)

The staff were particularly attentive, especially Ms Nargiz who reached out to us before we left home to ensure a smooth safe transfer from the airport. The warm welcome was outstanding. In addition tours and activities booked from reception were easy to arrange, including a free pick up by taxi to the event. The hotel is located in a busy shopping area with bars and restaurants near by. We felt completely safe even late at night. The room was clean and spacious and was adequately heated considering in February while warm in the day was cool at night. All the all the hotel and its staff were a key component of a wonderful and memorable trip to Istanbul.

The hotel was fine but understanding public transport especially the buses was bewildering. The Ubahn was our go-to transport for travelling around the city. It is a sizable city so allow time to get around.

The hotel was very clean and lovely throughout. The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I stayed here alone and had some surgery and the young lady on reception WhatsApp me each day to ask if I was okay, did I need anything or room cleaning. The rooms have a lounge, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. It was very clean and comfortable, lovely design,with everything you needed. There is a nice coffee bar also at the hotel and takeaway food delivery service. The location was great, very safe, high end shops, great cafes, little bars, restaurants with takeaway and several little supermarkets. Osmanbey tube/metro is 15min nice walk where there is loads of shops, it's one stop to Taksim square. 40 min walk through a fantastic, trendy neighborhood down to Dolombache Palace, Bosphours and Besiktas football stadium. Also a big park 10 mins away with cafes and activities for some green space, has a cable car crossing. I loved my stay here at Lord Morgan it was homely, clean, friendly and safe. I would recommend and I would stay here again. I absolutely loved Istanbul, the people are so friendly, it's safe, I felt safer there than in London. Food is fantastic. Tube efficient and clean. I'm definitely going back.

One slight negative is they allow smoking, but everyone smokes everywhere in Istanbul so you have to just accept it, it's their way. You will hear traffic and in Istanbul there is traffic 24/7 and they love to beep their horns, but it's all part of the experience.

The staff at the hotel were extremely attentive and caring. They consistently inquired about our well-being, ensuring that everything was in order throughout our stay. Particularly noteworthy was their thoughtfulness in providing additional water for our child, demonstrating a high level of customer service and consideration for our needs.

The hotel is in need renovation as there are visible signs of wear and aging in the public areas and rooms. Renovation is essential to maintain a high standard of quality and comfort for the guests.

Good value for the money, nothing really serious to complain about. We even got a nice upgraded room.

The espresso machine in the lobby was not working.

I recently stayed in a terrace apartment at this hotel, and my experience was amazing! The apartment is quite spacious and airy. While the terrace doesn't have a stunning view, it is larger than the rooms in other hotels and even has a sofa, providing a nice relaxation area. Everything is so harmonious that the lack of a view is definitely not felt. The only issue was with the stove in the apartment, but they assured me that it would be fixed right away; unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to use it. Other than that, I really liked the water pressure in the bathroom, and the cleanliness was excellent. Additionally, the bed was quite large and comfortable, which was a big plus for me. The hotel's location is quiet and peaceful; it's not on the street side. I would definitely return to this place!!

Top location, good value for money. It was quiet enough considering the location. Better than most places in the price range.

The hotel is in a very good neighborhood, close to everything. Staff were extremely helpful from the moment we arrived at the Hotel especially Mourad and Gunel. They both speak good english which cannot be easily found in Istanbul. The size of the room was very good, we booked an executive suite. Bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Not enough cupboards for our clothes but it was not a major issue. Small and cozy hotel, very good value for money. I will definitely go back again.

I would like to say my sincere thanks to the hotel stuff, first, they wrote me after I made a reservation and suggested to help in any question and stayed in contact - that was so sweet and important! Second, they were So helpful and nice after check-in, great service! The apartment itself is so stylish and aesthetic beginning from the entrance hall. Fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, spacious living-room. Perfect location for me - good neighbourhood, more calm than in touristic centre and the metro station is about 7 mins walk, then 2 stations to Galata area. Plenty of nice cafes and shops around. I would definitely love to stay at this nice place again and recommend to my friends. P.S. sending my love to the black-and-white cat who was my guest one evening :-) :-)

Nothing, just a little wish from a lady to provide some more space in the bathroom to put the cream/shampoo/etc bottles :-)
