Everything is beautiful and clean

Location, room breakfast, facilities.

I recently stayed at Rixos Tersane, and unfortunately, my experience was not as expected. Upon check-in, I was assigned a room with a bathroom designed for people with special needs. While I understand the importance of such facilities, it was not what I requested or expected. It caused me some inconvenience during my stay, and I believe this should have been communicated or clarified in advance. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration to improve guest satisfaction in the future. Thank you.

We stayed here for 6 nights and it was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. The highlight of our Istanbul trip. The rooms, lobby, pool, sunsets, breakfast - everything was perfect. The hotel also offered complimentary boat service to a few locations nearby. The breakfast was incredible - literally everything you can think of was there (even sushi and pizza) and the quality was amazing. The breakfast at times would get very busy and it would be hard finding a table as there is not table management and it’s just you entering and trying to find a table - but most days was fine, and the food was just incredible (shoutout to Mehmet at the velena breakfast who was the best waiter). The staff were very friendly and helpful, as well as the bell boys. There are even nice cafes/restaurants right outside the hotel (mondaine, espressolab, godiva, halcyan days etc) - and there’s a mall opening nearby with many restaurants. The hotel was just perfect - we just wanted to stay in the hotel overlooking the most beautiful views and not leave. Many thanks to the Rixos team for making our stay incredible. Can’t wait to be back!

The hotel is an impressive building and as soon as you walk through the doors, you know you're somewhere special. The staff were amazing from before the start to finish. The welcome from reception was the best we've ever known. Everyone was so friendly and keen to help us. We were taken to our room by Pilna (Fish) who wanted to make sure we were happy and knew where everyone was. She even arranged a surprise cake for my partner's 50th bday. Concierge were fantastic and being able to use WhatsApp to contact them was very convenient, before the trip and while we were there. Khan from concierge was very knowledgable and couldn't do enough for us. He helped us book some fantastic trips and checked that they went well after. When leaving the hotel or coming back after being out, there was always a friendly welcome, especially from Emmanuel who would always go out of his way to see welcome us and ask about our day. This made us feel very welcome and was one of the best things about the hotel. The staff in the restaurant work extremely hard and Dilek made sure we had everything we needed. She even remembered our drink orders from the day before. These personal touches are what makes the hotel extra special. Although it was much busier at the weekend, we were able to find beds around the pool and staff made sure they cleared unused beds so others could use them. There were a lot of children using the pool as it seems to be a popular base for families who want to explore the city.

There is a lot of building work so there is not much peace. We managed to zone out from the noise but it is there. The location of the hotel meant we always needed to get taxis but these were very reasonable and always available (waiting outside of the hotel). Breakfast can be very manic, the staff work exceptionally hard but a lot is expected from them! We were lucky to find Dilek who made sure we were able to order but this wasn't the case on the first couple of days .

Housekeeping needs to improve the service

This was my first visit to Istanbul, I was lucky to have spent a few days with some friends who are from Turkey first & did a lot of the central things to the city & by the time I got to Rixos Tersane Istanbul I was ready to relax & enjoy the good weather! From the moment I arrived at the property I was greeted by the hotel staff who were all friendly & helpful. The gentlemen who managed my check-in, Volkan I beleive was his name, was delightful - super cheery & very helpful - helped me with a late check out, showed me around the property & guided me to my room to make sure everything was satisfactory. My room was spacious, it had an incredible view, was spotless, had all the amenities you needed & more, the bed was super comfy and the linen was excellent quality (there was even a pillow menu in case I needed something different from what was offered). I ordered room service both evenings I was staying at the hotel, as it was truly about enjoying the hotel for me & relaxing...room service was polite, prompt & delicious - portion sizes were good & the food was fresh & of great quality. The pool location is absolutely incredible, right by the ocean, making it super relaxing to sun bathe! My only feedback would be for an increase of the luxe sun beds in the pool area & perhaps more staffing in this area to service food & drinks (on both occasions I was at the pool a menu or anything of the likes was never offered to me & I just guided myself to a sun lounger, the property is still new though, so, I don't find this a setback, rather an opportunity). If you're looking to stay at a luxury hotel that's centrally located for a nominal fee & be treated like royalty, I would highly recommend the Rixos Tersane Istanbul! Hot tip - make use of the spa, it's conveniently located on -1 level & is the first spa that is run and managed by Rixos in the world!

This was the best experience ever. The best hotel ev er. All of the staff were amazing, very friendly and kind. Very helpful. They gave me check in around 11 am and check out around 4 pm. They had this special tour for the residence of the hotel to Balat which I enjoyed a lot with my kids. Special Thanx to Beliz the manager who was very helpful with everything and to Busra who was the most amazing and was very friendly with my kids and very helpful. I had the best time ever and I will come back again :)

I had a truly wonderful stay. The hotel itself is stunning, modern, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The service was top-notch from start to finish, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. A special mention goes to Mehmet from the breakfast team. He was outstanding, always smiling, kind, and incredibly attentive. Every morning, Mehmet greeted us with warmth and made sure everyone felt welcome and looked after. His attention to detail and positive energy really stood out.

Everything in the room was perfect, comfortable bed, spacious apartment and highlight for the combined rooms for families. We really enjoyed it.

The staff at the breakfast didn't treat us well. The service was bad, staff took too long to clean the tables, there was a lack of kindness when requesting assistance. Also, the taxi drivers provided by the hotel were just horrible, really bad behaved and rude.

Rixos is a quality brand. Excellent service, fabulous architecture next to Halic river. Definitely I need to visit again in summer cause the infinity pool outside next to the water is great, pool is heated during winter time. Fantastic breakfast with large buffet (salad bars, starter buffet,sushis, pizzas) Rooms are designed very modern, spacious and clean. Perfect city hotel with good Price performance!
