Location is amazing, just outside the busy area so it's convenient at the same time very quiet. Would like to stay here again next time visit Istanbul. The staff is very helpful!

Need to climb some stairs to access there, but on the other hand you can see amazing view when you're climbing.

Everything is magnificent, the most friendly and energetic employees of Istanbul are here! They are always ready for you, working for your comfort. Money is not important for them, they work from heart (they did not accept my big large tip, they told me to give this money to a homeless child outside). I was in Istanbul for an important meeting, I needed to sleep well, prepare well and go to the business interview. I can say that the positive energy that New Taksim Hotel gave me even affected my business interview. Everything was Magnificent! Thank you guys, I will never forget that business trip! I wish all hotels in Istanbul were like yours. Of course we will meet again! In short: -Clean and fresh air -The hotel is right next to the police office (felt safe) -Best location -Ideal for staying with family -Never no noise -Great employees (they are looking for things to help) -Everything is so goog!

WIFI sometimes working slowly

The hotel is very well located, 5 min walk from Sishane metro and next door to the Kasimpasa police station. There are lots of eating places nearby for breakfast, lunch, dinner. My room at the front of the building was simple (with a mini fridge) and always clean. A selection of teas was available in the lobby, as well as tables to sit and eat BEST of all was the very friendly, helpful and personable reception staff, who provided us with all the info we needed to move around Istanbul.

The only hick was the music coming from a rooftop lounge up the hill late at night. However, if I closed the windows, I did not hear it.

We had a wonderful stay, and I especially want to thank Mami and Saeed for being incredibly helpful throughout our visit. I had a baby stroller with me, and every time I entered or exited the hotel, they kindly helped me carry it up and down the stairs. (Don’t worry—there are lifts to the rooms!) They also assisted us with directions to local attractions and helped us figure out the best transportation options. The hotel provided a baby crib, which was perfect and very comfortable for my little one. Everyone at the hotel was kind and attentive. Our room was cleaned daily without us needing to ask, and the beds were very comfortable. Kids playground just in front of the hotel, This place is truly family-friendly. The location is excellent—just a short walk (less than 10 minutes) to Şişhane Metro Station, Şişhane Bus Station, and Kasımpaşa Ferry Station. Galata Tower and İstiklal Street are also nearby, about 10–15 minutes on foot. We also booked the Bosphorus tour through the hotel, and it was wonderful—especially at sunset! Highly recommended for families visiting Istanbul!

A couple of things to note: the metro station is located on a very steep hill, which could be challenging for elderly people or young kids. It’s manageable with a baby stroller but can be tiring. Also, the bathroom walls are not fully soundproof, so you may hear flushing noises from neighboring rooms. Overall, a pleasant stay in a well-located, family-friendly hotel with excellent staff support.

Sayid and his colleagues were fantastic throughout our stay and in the build up once booked. I admittedly asked a lot of questions and they were patient with my questioning. They also helped arranged transport to and from the airport to the hotel. Sayid and his colleagues were also helpful with explaining the local culture to us and guiding us with travel and food options especially when arriving very late into Istanbul. They were also very approachable with the kids and helping with the facilities for food and milk. Money well spent!

Nothing to complain from the hotels perspective. Worth the money spent!

Great little hotel, just down from Galata and Taksim/Istiklal, about a 10-15 min walk. If walking isn't your thing, it's 5 mins from the Şişhane metro station. Rooms are a decent size, basic but clean and comfortable - great bed and super shower. Coffee and tea available 24/7 in the lounge by the 24-hour reception. Really friendly and helpful staff. The rates are very good for the location and level of comfort and service.

Nothing really, but it should be noted that there is no onsite restaurant. However, breakfast is available, and there is a room service menu that you can order online and offers a wide range of food and drinks.

The staff! We arrived in Turkey in a very stressful way as our previous property reservation was a scam. My sister took chances and look for a nearby hotel and we found New Taksim Hotel. From the very first time we stepped in to the hotel, a staff named Sayid was very accommodating and we felt secured as he assisted us to have a room. More than that, he let us feel supported with our needs as he knew what happened to us. Having a staff like Sayid is a an asset to this property. He never failed to offer us any kind of support during our entire stay. Thank you Sayid.

The location is excellent and right next to the metro station. This means that you can plan and visit any place you like in the city. Our host "Emre" is an excellent and polite young man and worth to be trusted for any advice regarding the life and whereabouts of Instabul. He even took care of our car in the hotel parking and the Turkish coffee we were given every morning was a great treat!

The staff were literally amazing. So friendly and helpful. I rarely see hotel staff that welcoming. The rooms are very clean! They clean everyday and place new bottles of water on your table. The amenities are all good and we did not face any problem. The metro station (Șhișane) is right next to the hotel which is very convenient.

Although the metro station is right next to the hotel, however it is a bit of a steep road, but manageable.

The staff was extremely kind, and the free parking space behind the hotel was appreciated, the location being next to the police station, so very safe. Also, the cleanliness of the hotel is appreciated, as well as the coffee provided by the house. All in all, the location itself is a good one, positioned relatively close to transportation that provides access to all areas of interest in Istanbul.

During the night, unfortunately, a lot of noise produced by the other tourists coming/leaving. The room is rather poorly soundproofed.
