The vibes of the place! amazing location next to the beach! you get a 10% discount at the Gua restaurant and it’s totally worth it!!!

the bathroom could be renovated but it is perfectly functional! the curtains aren’t black out so sleeping was a bit difficult for me..

Very nice staff on reception and at Gua where we had breakfast. It has lovely grounds and is super close to the beach promenade which has lots of restaurants and bars and runs the length of the beach. Lots of sunbeds which were really comfortable and free for hotel guests but were not just for guests of Kalia. Run by Gua and the staff often reserved the best beds (i.e., front row) for people who were paying. Also not allowed to move them so getting shade was challenging. We bought clips and towels to achieve it! Breakfast at Gua was good. No choice as served to the table but always fresh salad, cheese, bread and something hot like omelette. They didn't really seem to understand us being vegetarian and the first day we got the vegan breakfast which was the salad plate and a fruit bowl. So after that we just had it all and didn't eat the meat. Also had lunch from Gua on the beach which was really nice. And wine and cocktails. Plus dinner on our last night on the upper level which was great. Excellent quality food. Overall a really good choice in a great location, only 10-15 minutes walk from the old town but plenty of local places to eat and drink too.

A safe in the room would have been nice. We did use a safety deposit box in reception but in the room would be easier. Also found it odd we had no drinking glasses in the room, only mugs and Gua staff said they couldn't give us any. Gua turns into a club after the dinner service and there is boom boom music until 2am. Our room wasn't too close so it didn't bother us too much but best to check where your room will be if you plan to go to bed before 2am!

The staff at Kalia were so friendly and accommodating and couldn’t do more than enough. Thank you. The hotel was not too over crowded and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Being a solo traveller I felt safe at all times. The restaurant attached ‘GUA’ served lovely food, reasonable priced. Breakfast was included and although the selection was similar daily, it was filling and nice to eat. Guest are not obliged to eat this set breakfast and can choose to order & pay for alternative food. The location of the hotel has near by shops, restaurants and Side old town. People mentioned the loud music in previous reviews but did not find this a problem. Location was ideal with suitable amenities

Only concern was the showers in the bedroom not draining water fully once finished leaving water residue and a damp smell within the bathroom which drifted at times into the room so had to put on the AC to combat this smell.

The moment we arrived we were received with great hospitality. The receptionist made all possible to make him understandable, showed us the surroundings while the rooms were getting ready(we got there before the check in time), and let us park our car in a good place. The rooms were clean, the cleaning ladies changed our towels and sheets every other day and made sure to leave water in our rooms. The hotel is right near the beach, less than one minute from the hotel, and so is the restaurant, right near the hotel. The beach was nice and clean, the staff from the restaurant also works on the seashore. Though the breakfast was standard and every day we had the same thing, it was tasty, but it could be revised and have different meals at least the every other day. In rest we enjoyed our stay, having lots of shops around.

Just that the breakfast was the same every day, someone intolerant to dairy and eggs can't eat there at all.

Beach front location, very nice beach facilities, daily cleaning, serviable personnel. Was renovated in 2022, good mattress. AC correct. Spacious room, all ground floors.

Breakfast only 8 to 10 AM, served at first floor of the Gua restaurant (no AC but ventilators and sea view). No choice possible so the same every day. The personal is very busy carrying this upstairs (like thick plates and recipients all stylish but heavy) so they can’t be very available for any demands, nor for bringing new coffee, tea or milk when it’s run empty. It’s a pity because ambiance and style and view are wonderful. Change this to a buffet would be really a plus. Shower is working but a little short in flow.

Amazing place. I would totally recommend it to everyone. It’s cute and cozy with a small garden inside. Rooms are big. Room service doing their job very good, everything is clean and shiny. Actually on the first day I forgot some money on the table. Not even a cent was touched. Breakfast is nice. Turkish breakfast with some French fries, omelette, fruits. Staff and the owner are very helpful. If you have any problems or questions it will be decided in 5 minutes. The best service! They also have fancy restaurant, I guess the best at the sea side. Food is 10/10 there. Luxury place. And the beach has its own beds. Almost all the time 50% of them are free. So you shouldn’t worry that you won’t have a place. By the way if you stay in Kale beach you have 10% of discount for the food on the beach and in the Gua restaurant. If I come again I’ll come to the Kale for sure. Thanks to the staff and patron :)

Location is superb - about 50 meters from hotel's private beach. Beach was cleaned and taken care of every night. Deluxe double room with balcony is located on the second floor (there are actually only ground and second floor). The room itself is quite spacious for 2 person, with a comfortable king bed and quite a big wardrobe. Room was cleaned every other day. Balcony faces the inner yard, do not expect too much a view :) Staff is very friendly and helpful Hotel has its own restaurant, hotel guests would get a 10% discount. Cuisine is rich and delicious.

Breakfast. Don't get me wrong, breakfast itself is great - scrambled eggs, 2 sort of cheese, butter, nuts, honey etc. However, eating the same food for 10 consecutive mornings.... menu could be more variative

Excellent location, close to the sea and overall facilities, friendly staff, modern restaurant Goa (recently rebuilt / renovated, stylish, with great varieties), service provided at the beach (beach staff was extremely supportive and prompt to serve you at the best!)

Goa restaurant worked until 2am with loud music Rooms have been recently renovated, but bathrooms are still in poor condition Breakfast is served upon arrival, recommendation to offer self service at least for the drinks and snacks Shisha offered in Goa was extremely bad and expensive

I fell in love with this hotel 😍 it's located in a really good location, beach chairs and umbrellas are free for hotel residents, breakfast is tasty (though it's always the same, served directly to the tables), cleaning is at a good level. There is no swimming pool, and I didn't need it since it's a really short distance to the sea 😊 the staff is really friendly

Sometimes I had to wait a long time for breakfast, buffet would be better. Sometimes at night the commotion/music from the bar was overpowering.
