It was a perfect hotel for me, I wanted to move in! There is amazing artwork and curios in every nook and cranny, The staff are so friendly, they are like friends. the 3 bars and restaurants are all wonderful and the spa was terrific. There is a common area workspace that is amazing too. For business, fun or as a spa retreat this property offers everything with an eye for detail, and good service. Its mountain top garden location is an oasis in the chaos of Kampala city.

The hotel is far from down town, and with traffic, you need an hour to reach either downtown or Entebbe. On the other hand, don't leave the hotel unless you need to!

I LOVE this hotel! I stay at this hotel every time I come to Kampala. The staff are kind, attentive, prompt, and extremely accommodating. They make you feel at ease. The hotel itself is beautiful. I love the artwork that is on display throughout the hotel. Also, I love the numerous communal rooms that are well-decorated. The food was delicious with a wide range of options. My only slight complaint is related to the Internet. For the most part, it works, but there were a few times in which it didn't work while I was engaging in work-related meetings. The pauses would only last for a few seconds and/or minutes. This is a minor issues though. I would highly recommend people to stay at this hotel. You will be pleased with your accommodations. It was my birthday and the manager was great so kind everyone’s communication is with respect when everyone knew it was my birthday ! They notified each other and everyone was wishing me a happy birthday felt too good was by my self but felt I had ppl around 🥰 the stuffs are amazing Pamela , Kenneth, Ronny are great people

I loved my stay but I kept having price up my bookings .com showed me the total payment was 144 ! In ur space I paid 156 dollars and still was asked 20 dollars on my check out claiming it was the booking .com issue that was so wrong

The staff were absolutely incredible! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming whilst also professional. I was with my mum and they showed so much respect to my mum as an elder which made me feel really good. Even the staff at the gym were super helpful and very friendly. The hotel was stunning and the food in each restaurant was great.

It was situated in what we were told was a ‘dangerous’ area so late night taxi rides were somewhat unnerving. However Uber rides are safe and there was a lot of security when entering the hotel which made us feel safe.

Chic design, wonderful staff, quiet location away from the city’s hustle. Unique and very different from all other high class hotels in town! Choose a superior room! So you can be sure you would face the better side of the view. Some “Executive rooms” face the carpark and that would be a real bummer to waste that beautiful view at such a beautiful hilltop hotel

The only two things if I have to pick were (1) the blanket is slightly too heavy for my personal taste, (2) the asian dishes at the rooftop restaurant was just okay

As usual, Latitude 0 does not appoint being on of the best hotels in Africa. Still maintaining the highest standards in design, service and food. As a returning guest my overall rating as exceptional did not change.

The refurbishment of the pool -which was absolutely stylish and I used it quite a lot before - was ongoing, hence, I could not enjoy the experience, including staying the great bar by the pool.

The view to Lake Victoria is just amazing. In the evening, there was live music. We got an upgrade from a standard room to a () suite. That was nice, although the room was very small for a suite. The whole ground level with all the restaurants and bars is quite open and very nicely decorated with different styles. Besides bars and resto's there are also beautiful places, just for wasting time and relaxing 😌

The (smaller) pool for residents was under maintenance the whole weekend. The price for breakfast per person and night is 20$, not 15$, as i was told at check-in. The breakfast is a big buffet and beverages are included, but - and i have seen many hotels worldwide - 15 $ are more than enough. In booking.com, the offer it is written a kind of unclear. In one section, you have both the price for the room, all nights and all persons, and the price for breakfast, which is, as i know right now, per night and person. This is confusing.

I would like to thank all the staff at Latitude 0 degrees for their fantastic services right from the receptionist, the waiters and waitresses, the chefs, cleaners, chamber maids. They were all pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. The food was absolutely fantastic. The hotel looked beautiful with a touch of oldy worldly African decor which we loved looking at. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch and the Jazz entertainment was lovely. The hotel is very clean, attention to detail was well thought of. The overall service was great and we can not wait to return. The restaurant manager was so kind and lovely, he always checked on us to make sure that we enjoyed our food. The mojitos were to die for, loved all the drinks but the mojitos took centre stage.

There was no fault during our stay. In my view everything was spot on.

Business Centre is excellent with great wifi. Staff are extremely helpful. Brilliant Spa. Lovely grounds and relaxation patios and comfortable indoor seating areas.

Whilst the trees outside the hotel keep the area cool it has blocked the view. Sometimes too many fruit flies at breakfast buffet, needing plenty of fly candles which helps resolve the problem.

Latitude 0 Degrees is a magic place in the hills of Kampala (access road has significantly improved in the meanwhile) and has become a second home to me when I am there. The cuisine and the wines are on very decent level but the 10 points come from the stuff - all from security to front desks and the restaurants (sometimes a bit very relaxed on the morning coffee, but that’s all). The places interior is a remarkable combination of Victorian time age elements and contemporary Eastern African art in modern architecture, sounds crazy but well done and well maintained in every little details. The gardens lovely decorated, nice pool (even if small) and extraordinary gym not like often in the last corner of the subgroups but open views in three directions to the hills around Kampala. Also the conference room area looks excellent, even if not yet used. Can imagine this to be a good atmosphere for lengthy negotiations or a good workshop with decent possibilities for break out sessions. Cannot wait to return - it has really become our place over there Thank you, keep going
