I stayed there three times and I really enjoyed it. The staff is super friendly and also upgraded me when it was possible. Thanks again! The hotel complex is super nice and I directly felt like I was on holiday (even though I was there for work),super beautiful terrasse with lake view and the food as well is really tasty,everything I had and prices are still reasonable. Rooms (I saw 4different ones on my three stays) are all very nice,but the ones on top of the bar are really great,very spacious and beautiful with a small probate terrace and lake view :) You can use sauna and steam for free and massages are also good. I will come back and can only recommend staying there.

If you get the rooms close to the bar (which are the nicest) it is a bit noisy but there is a cool bar bellow you and it is feel good music and stops around 11,so for me it was definitely a good deal to they these rooms,if you need quiet ask for rooms on the other side. I also had an issue with hot water in my shower but the lovely team directly helped. Breakfast is great but takes some time so good to order in advance if you are in a hurry. TV and news in the sauna relaxation area was a bit strange to me but no big deal Just to mention these things in case it's important for aomeone, for me they really didn't impact the way I enjoyed staying here!

The breakfast was amazing - very large and customizable. It was free with the stay, but we might even return just for breakfast without staying because it was such good value. We liked our room. It was very large with a big bed. It had a private patio, which was nice. Bathroom was a bit dated, but shower was hot with good water pressure.

The room we had originally booked (executive suite) was not available, so we were moved to a different room. I had thought we would get a discount for not getting the room originally booked, but they said that since we booked through Booking.com and not directly through them, it was not possible. The difference was only $5 so I didn't make a big deal of it. The door to the room opened up right to the parking lot. This made it feel less private and a bit noisy. I wouldn't have minded if the door had a second lock given its proximity to the parking lot and the street.

A scenic location with good restaurants and shops nearby (own restaurant good as well). Sauna nice hot and dry. If you have a lot to do in the city-centre, Muyenga is impractical because traffic to that side is a grinder.

They offer a generous breakfast selection, yet very unflexible. I asked for chapati instead of bread with the egg, leaving out all other items. Still they had to charge extra for that. Seems petty. Towels in the Sauna are a bit too little, you wouldn't want to use the cushions on their seats with those...

The area of Muyenga Tank Hill is very safe to walk, a lot of green, and lovely people. With swimming pools, quiz nights, and a bustling Muyenga Rd around, it falls nothing short of the perfect location for your stay in Kampala. The staff at Kampala Forest Resort is attentive, very helpful and makes you feel so welcomed.

Very nice location on top of a hill with big trees and a nice view on the lake. Nice place away from polluted air and the noise from the city centre. The room was not very spacious, but big enough for me. I liked the food offered in the restaurant.

The bar is playing quite loud music up to midnight. If you want to go to sleep early, bring ear plugs. The shower didn't have warm water on the days when I was there, but maybe that was a temporary issue.

Room was very spacious and clean. Outdoor restaurant/bar area overlooked the water and provided a lovely spot to hang out with friends. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner food at the restaurant was delicious and attractively presented. Location was good. The coffee lovers in the group particularly liked that it was within walking distance to Endiro coffee, a high-end, fair-trade establishment.

We requested a room in a quiet area -- couldn't be accommodated due to construction -- so we ended up in a room right in the front. It was quiet until one party leaving the property after 1am was picked up by a driver blasting loud music from the car. Not the hotel's fault that they had an inconsiderate guest, but this is a potential risk for people in that front room. Wait time for food service in the restaurant was longer than average for dinner.
