Close to airport for easy rental car return (gas station on same site) and airport transfers available if needed. Good basic restaurant onsite and beds exceptionally comfortable. We had a suite with separate bedroom with super king sized bed. Lounge area comfortable and nice area for dining table and kitchenette

Equipment in kitchenette as advertised on booking.com site not there( toaster and kitchen equipment) so couldn't toast anything or really use microwave. They said it was to do with fire regulations but I suspect it is a business decision as travellers use their restaurant for breakfast rather than making own and less mess in rooms.

We have stayed at this Hotel before as it is very close to Hobart Airport, the rooms are extremely clean and spacious, the bed is very comfortable with beautiful linen. The food in the Restaurant is excellent and the Driver that took us to the Airport the following morning was very polite, dressed well and helped with our suitcases, but the Asian lady on reception when we checked in could not have been ruder if she tried, instead of approaching us and saying Good Afternnon or even Hello she snapped at us with YES, then WHAT, then YES again, obviously we were interupting what she was doing, no smile, no enjoy your stay just totally rude, how anyone would employ someone on their front desk like her is beyond my thinking.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean with a good sized bathroom and all the expected amenities. We ate at the restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised at the quality and value for money of the food. Easy transport to the airport the next day made it a really convenient stopover after our Three Capes Walk.

The room would benefit from block out curtains as the car park outside was well lit as was the service station on the corner which we could see from our room. There was also quite loud air conditioning noise when we opened the window.

Big Bed

Breakfast was crap and there are no food options. If I was to do my trip again I would go into town and stay as there’s no real facilities and we had to catch a cab with the kids and bags anyway. Would have much rather staying in the city and being able to get food delivered. None of the uber/menu log guys would come out and the restaurant in the hotel was closed before we arrived. The “buffet” breakfast was crap. It was the worst I have ever been to don’t waste your time if you can stay somewhere else that’s got actual facilities. We were flying in and hiring a car and driving around Tassie - would have been much happier staying in the city and catching the bus back or an uber to the airport for the benefits of food for children at night.

Flew into Hobart on a delayed evening flight from Melbourne having flown from Wellington. Arrived at the Travelodge Hotel after 10 pm to be warmly greeted by the receptionist who gave us our key and explained the facilities and the breakfast timings. Room was on ground floor, and we collapsed on the inviting bed. Superb breakfast the next morning and clear instructions by the receptionist on how to walk to the rental car company, which was close by to pick up our vehicle, while my wife stayed in the hotel lounge drinking some very good coffee. Travelodge Hotel gave us everything needed by two tired travellers arriving late at night, allowed us to sleep in comfort, fed us the next day and assisted us on our way. It was all we could ask for.

Room was very good, bed was comfortable and service was good.

Wardrobe door was broken and not repaired in the 3 nights that we were there, although management was informed immediately we accessed the room. We were given a free can of Pepsi and one of Pepsi max on complaining again??? Other hotels we stayed at provided biscuits in the room to have with your tea or coffee. Although only a minute item guests remember these things. On our last day cleaning staff forgot to leave an additional roll of toilet paper, we just made it.

I wouldlike to pass on to Travel Lodge an expression of gratitude to Cameron in the restaurant. My stay at Travel lodge was a great experience as usual, but it was so friendly & excepting to be remembered by Cameron from my previous visits. He is an absolute pleasure & attentive, great communicator. The meal was fantastic & the skin on the salmon was cooked to perfection - crispy like a potato chip.. Cameron, you are an assett to the Travel Lodge.. Well Done & see yah next time.. cheers Jenny 😊

Convenient location to airport for late arrival flight. Clean and comfortable room Very Pleasant staff

If you get an afternoon flight into Hobart and wish to stay at the Travelodge do be aware that they do not provide a shuttle service to pick you up, and you need to rely on a taxi or Uber (who are not overly happy with short journeys such as this). Ironically if you are heading back to the airport the following morning - there is a shuttle service available... Personally I would have thought helping you arrive would have been better than helping you leave (LOL)

The property was beautiful and clean My room was tended to daily Staff were all friendly, welcoming and happy to assist with any request It was remarkably quiet and a very comfortable stay Lovely restaurant area also and room service if and when requested

There was no cutlery. Only teacup and a teaspoon As I was there for 10 nights it would have been good to have some cutlery also a knife, fork, plate, bowl and even a microwave would be good however as an airport location I imagine most peoples stays would only be for a short period

Checkin-out all smooth. Shuttle to the airport. Room had independent heating which worked. Plumbing all worked.

The restaurant area was VERY cold. Other people at other tables were also wearing winter fleeces at their tables. The plate that the food was served on was cold. The small jug of pepper sauce (gravy) was cold. The meat was tender and the chips were hot but they rapidly cooled down as I ate. Such a shame. It could have been such a nice meal.
