The room and the hotel were decorated in a sophisticated, calm style. There were local restaurants, cafes and supermarkets close by which was handy as we didn't have to walk far while it was quite cold over the new year period.

Overall, I would stay at the Miyako again, however these are the things we didn't enjoy .. The hotel has a bar but both times we tried to use the bar, we were told it was closed (6pm). The restaurant was open and it was clear there was no maintenance work etc being done to the bar as it was clearly visible. This was a little annoying and we couldn't understand why we couldn't just sit at a table (restaurant was nowhere near full) to have a drink. The pool is an extra charge also ($11AUD) and guests must wear swimming caps. My daughter had a small bag of laundry done and we were charged 135,000 yen for this. A little OTT in our opinions. The king size bed was up against a wall on one side, and the shower is over bath.

The hotel is situated in a good location, and makes the traveling to various places simple. The staffs are all very welcoming, and for my personal experience this time, I realized that my headphone was still in my room after I checked out and left the hotel. When I returned to the hotel and approach the front desk, the staff made a quick phone call and my headphone was returned to me promptly.

The weather is a bit cold and I couldn’t find the switch when I tried to turn up the heat. Also, the air conditioner only allows changes from low, medium to high level, but does not have temperature setting.

The location is excellent. 2 subway stations- tanimachi 9 chome and osaka-uehomachi just near to hotel and can reached under shelter or underpass. Lots of eateries and supermarkets as well as convenience stores around. Hotel cleanliness was good. Got the no daily cleaning rate but hskp will still clean the room after 3 days and it was a good rate and option for me as i usually dont need daily cleaning. Staff are nice too and automatically pulled out my luggages that i had sent over from nagoya, to me, when i check in even before i asked. Airport lomousine just at hotel's doorstep and ticket can be easily purchased at boarding point.

The hotel room is a bit aged, looks the same, as was there 5 years ago. Hope they will upgrade soon.

The hotel is very strategically located and that is definitely a great plus for the hotel. The breakfast spread was fantastic too. The rooms were a little old and some stains as well in the bathroom though it was spacious for us. the hotel was gracious to give us connecting room for the family which made it really convenient. Since I booked thru Booking.com the nights were not added to my membership points which baffled me. Havina the airport shuttle next door was a huge advantage as we used the same for the airport and also the station was next door which helped us to quickly get to Universal studios. A little refurbishing of the rooms and this is a 5* property.

the rooms were little old and bathrooms old too though spacious. Not having a double bed (Twin sharing rooms only) was a put off too for me and my wife though worked out great for my Daughter and son.

Fantastic location Airport limousine buses stop right at the hotel. Abeno harukus is a short ride on a bus. Department store and supermarkets next to the hotel and plenty of eateries nearby. The decor is perhaps not as modern as the newer hotels but their room is a lot more spacious and everything is very well-maintained and super clean.

Nothing! The hotel is in a very good location in terms of transportation and other amenities, however It’s not right in the middle of Osaka if that is what you’re looking for.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and had really nice rooms (even if they were a bit small for Sheraton standards). Our highlight was the trainee Nanami, working at the reception!!! She was extremely friendly and made us feel more than welcome and cared for. I also had a piece of luggage which was transferred to the hotel due to it landing on another flight and the staff took care of everything and wrote me a mail once the luggage arrived safely at the hotel, making me feel relaxed and stopping my anxiety. Nanami your perfect! <3

It stated that breakfast would be until 10 am but they started closing down the buffet at 9:30. Also I do believe that they could have offered breakfast until 11 during Christmas. We also had a slight problem with the air conditioning as we couldn’t get the setting right- at one point we nearly melted in the middle of the night and there were no instructions on how to lower the room temperature (for this I have to deduct points- please keep in mind that air conditioning is not often available in any European countries)

It’s right next to the train station, great location. The bed sheets and bath towels provided are of great quality and comfortable.

The management could have been better. We found a piece of luggage left by the former guests. And also forgotten T-shirt in the closet left by unknown guests.
