Really good location, 10-15 minutes walking distance from touristic points like Dotonbori and Denden street. Daniel the host was always available when I needed and really helpful. Besides, he is fluent in japanese, english and spanish, which isnt a easy thing to find.

The hostel really needs a place for us to dry our towels or at least change then. For anyone staying more than 2 days, the towels starts to get that bad humidity smell. Also, everyone hangs the towel wherever possible, what leads to the whole room smelling like humidity. Better curtains would be nice but the ones they already have isn’t bad.

Really fun and chill personnel. Ask them about anything and they can most likely help. Found a lot of great food places and just stuff to do that way! After a day of exploration. Spending the evening in the bar was always enjoyable. They close at 00:00 so plenty of time to consume drinks and decide if you want to go to bed or head to the city (25-30 min. away from dotonbori on foot) Maybe some of the personnel will even join you. When to a great Martini bar (Called cinquecento) with a group of guests and two of the bartenders one night. Unforgettable night! I can definitely recommend this hostel even if you don't consume alcohol, but just want to socialize and have fun Challenge Daniel to card games, but be prepared to lose

Perfect location, near Dotonbori, but not too crazy. There is also a subway less than 5 minutes away, so you can easily travel in Osaka or to to Kyoto and Nara from there. Staff are great, very friendly guys, that are always happy to help, the bar is awesome, they have good Japanese hipster beer. You can meet interesting people in the bar. The guys running the place are really nice people. The hostel is definitely a vibe.

I didn't like the fact that I was leaving, got used to the location, cuz it's pretty much perfect, whether you want a crazy night in Dotonbori or a quiet bar chat

Super friendly host that gave great location suggestion for food and bar , the lovely bar at the bottom was also a plus . Location was super great and is close to dotonbori which has tons of good bars and restaurants.

Rooms and facilities are clean and well kept with daily cleaning, but adding an area for people to hang or dry their towel could decrease the damp smell in the room. Wish there were more ventilation in the room and near the shoe rack area ,as some guest's shoes smelled.

I stayed there because of the bar. I've stayed in many places in Osaka and it was the cleanest non-capsule hostel. Maybe compared to the rest of Japan is not as clean but for Osaka it's really good. The bed was comfortable. It was noisy because of the road. The bar though is very social, you can meet locals. That's something very rare in Japan so I'm happy with my stay. It's not a place for people who want a quiet stay and wake up early I think.

The staff were welcoming, hospitable, and always ready on hand whenever I had any questions - especially Daniel. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the location was perfect. Having a bar downstairs was perfect for socialising in the evening, yet it always remained quiet in the dormitory. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Osaka.

The location is as good as you can get with regards to Dotonburi. The staff is friendly, and welcoming and can offer lots of suggestions on local attractions. The staff are English, Spanish, French, and Japanese friendly for sure, although I bet these guys can actually speak more languages. It should be noted that I stayed in the private room, and it has plenty of space for a couple (I stayed alone). I did not experience the shared dorm at all. Daniel and Stephan were very welcoming and make some awesome drinks.

The hostel very much embodies the city of Osaka itself. It's a bit grittier, do not expect a pristine Hilton or luxury capsule experience. For Americans, it's more akin to what we would consider Airbnb-level. However, the facilities do not take away from the authentic experience of Osaka that can be had when basing your trip out of this location.

Big comfy beds, staff are very friendly and accommodating! Bar downstairs! This is the best hostel I’ve stayed at, it was so easy to make friends and as a solo traveler that is not always easy. I will 100% be back on my next trip to Osaka :)

The bed was nice, the atmosphere is very friendly and you always can meet someone at the bar. Danny is really awesome and would make the best out of your trip (He is friends with everyone along that street and theres really nice places for the full Osaka experience). The location is also amazing, super close to Namba where everything is at.

Wish there were more beds so that more people could stay there, its always so popular and fully booked.

Nice and social but not too loud, friendly people in dorm. Friendly staff. Close to convenience stores and station.

Hard to do laundry because it was always being used to wash the hotels linen. Quite loud at night, everyone wanted the window open because it was so hot and aircon didnt work well, so all the street noise came through. Even when the window was shut it was so loud i had to sleep with earplugs and headphones.
