Location of the hotel is super! Right in the center, close to all the sites and metro! The breakfast was very good, even champaign was served)). Rooms are big and comfortable. There's a good bar in the lobby and also a restaurant right near.

Sauna in the hotel was not working, though it was on of the reasons we chosed it. The zone with hammam and pool was not comfortable, not enough of beds, no water offered. Hotel can provide you with a lot of stuff, but you have to ask. We didn't know at the beginning that we can ask for bathrobes and slippers. There was 1 complementary bottle of water at the start, than it was provided once out of 5 days.

Quite good place to sleep.

Swimming pool is a disaster. People walk in outdoor shoes around. You have to call to get the bathrobe and pay 5€ for that, after you paid 5€ to sit in overcrowded cold sauna. (It was just 55 degree in there, door was not closing - the lock was not holding). I paid for me and a family member to get into sauna, but she couldn’t fit in, since it was 9 people and we were already sitting on the head of each other. We didn’t get info about the bathrobe even after I made clear that we are going to the sauna, and registered that 10€ for both of us. No robes, no sleepers, no place. Pool was small and full.

Superb location for Friedrichstrasse public transport hub and sightseeing, walking distance from main opera house and museum island. Excellent breakfast. 15m pool with towels provided: I packed my own robe and flip-flops but kits were available from reception. I asked for a quiet room and ended up opposite the dedicated pool lift which was perfect for a pre-breakfast swim. There is a nice pub next door which is cheaper than the hotel restaurant if you don't want to go elsewhere for dinner (closed on Sunday). There is an Edeka supermarket in Friedrichstrasse station which is useful for water etc which can be chilled in the room's fridge. I spent more on this hotel than usual but it turned out to be worth it for me for a 6-night stay when I was packing a lot in during the day and needed restful evenings.

Could we have teapots at breakfast please? Coffee pots were available.

Friendly and welcoming staff - so accommodating. Clean and comfortable facilities. Central location - easy to walk around the city from and get to from the airport via train station. Amazing selection at breakfast - even vegan muffins and pea protein drink....plenty of fruit, meat, cheese, fish, freshly cooked hot dishes, almost too much choice. Helped boost the energy levels for walking around!

Provision of milk for tea in bedroom - only small selection of herbal tea or black coffee pods provided (though decaf coffee also left) Nothing else!

Overall a good room (received a free upgrade upon arrival), big enough for us, really quiet with view of the city. Location was great, just at the friedrichstraße station and walking distance to mitte restaurants and bars.

The ac during the day worked great, but at night wasnt working at the same strength or coldness, and as such the room got really hot (woke up twice to open the windows for a bit). To be fair, we didn't check upon this with reception but just managed ourselves with the situation, so don't know if this is default or defect. Other than that, really good hotel.

Big room with desk, armchair, high floor and lots of art pieces around the hotel rooms and corridor. Comfy beds and pillows. Good shower pressure. Reception staff friendly and approachable. The location is just off the high street so everything you need to eat/drink is less than 3 min walk away. Brandeberg tor is 12 minute walk. Same for the museums. Freidrichstraße train station and underground are around the corner so very convenient all around. The hotel also let me check in two hours early for free which was very kind!

There were some ash stains on the carpet but other than that it was quite clean.

Good value for money. The location couldn't be better. The lobby is beautiful and quiet, like a hotel lobby should be. If you arrive by car (like I did), there's a parking garage right under the hotel. The rooms are quiet, practical and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is nice. The showers work fine, even on the top floor. The indoor pool has its own elevator and (believe it or not) the key cards actually work! You can't say that about all hotels.

I can't think of anything bad to say about this hotel, Don't miss the kebab place on Friedrichstrasse 142 (Pergamon). Best kebab in the world. If you don't want to eat in the hotel. There's also a supermarket in Friedrichstrasse station. You can reach both on foot in two minutes. From Friedrichstrasse station you can go anywhere in Berlin.

I liked the location of the hotel, close to the S-bahn and U-bahn stations and also close to Museum Island and other attractions. Breakfast was great with a good range of cereals (including gluten free muesli), toppings, fruits, yogurt, bread, cheese, made-to-order eggs/omelet, tea, coffee, juices, etc. The room is quiet when the windows are closed.

The room was not cleaned during my 5 day stay. The carpets and toilet were not cleaned. Only the towels were changed, windows opened, beds quickly made and sink counter quickly wiped. I was in the room one day when this was done and all this was completed in around 2 minutes! Advance payment for the 5 day stay was also asked for at check-in (not check-out).

The hotel is very well positioned, close to many of Berlin's attraction points - and also very close to the subway, bus, tram and train stations. We travelled from and to the airport directly by train, which was very convenient. Rooms are a bit bigger than average for the price, with decent storage space and comfortable beds. Bathrooms are generally equipped with bathtub, which we greatly appreciated. Staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good. We had a great stay and would gladly return.

There are two things that would have made or stay perfect: better pillows (the ones we had were extremely soft and did not provide any neck support even when stacked) and a more thorough cleaning of the bathtub fixtures, which had limescale deposits, despite the otherwise good cleanliness of the room and bathroom.

The entire place was exceptional, and its location was superb and within easy walking distance to most of the major attractions. The breakfast offered was among the best I’ve experienced at a hotel. If you’re flying into Berlin, locate the DB Service Centre downstairs. You can take a direct train, I think it was the RE8 to Friedrichstrasse Station, which is a four-minute walk to the motel. The hop-on and hop-off bus stop was a 5-6 minute walk away.

There wasn't anything to dislike.
