staff friendly, place was beautiful, lots of turtles

the price for food and drinks was ridiculous. if they were more affodable to the point where you werent worried and could enjoy yourself more but you are stuck on island with no choice.

The bungalows were beautiful and very comfortable. We saw over 20+ turtles on our stay. It was truly incredible!

The dinner buffet was quite expensive for the value of money and you have to pay before entering. I think it would be worthwhile to have an all inclusive package so you don’t have to keep getting your credit card out. Secondly, the wifi was shocking. I have a local plan so no worries, but keep in mind if you’re a tourist. Lastly, a second set of towels in the bungalow would go a long way!

Overwater bungalows are spacious, comfortable and very well planned. Rooms were always kept clean. Location is amazing! The boat to and from city is easy to catch and runs many times a day. Breakfast is great but gets a bit “old” after day 4 or so. Overall fantastic place to stay. PS further back bungalows seemed to get LOT MORE turtle action than front ones, but also much windier in windy periods and long walk from reception.

Some staff speak no English, which makes it very difficult to order most basic things (very common I understand). Eating dinner/lunch there is VERY limited and expensive. Do yourself a favour and stop and get snacks/drinks at supermarket before hand or bring with you. Bring your own snorkelling gear during the swim ban time, plenty of turtles to see and they aren’t allowed to rent them.

Amazing amazing location. We stayed in one of the garden bungalows, which was nestled among the most beautiful trees and flowers, with birds wandering around everywhere. One of my favourite parts of the whole stay was taking the walk to and from the bungalow just to experience walking through the garden. The bungalow itself was so comfortable, clean, and well maintained. So much marine life to see, we saw turtles, fish and sea snakes just walking along the pier. The staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly. Also the buffets offered in the main restaurant were great!

Honestly not much - there was a very noisy seagull outside our bungalow that would squawk a lot as it was protecting it's nest, but I kind of liked that too because it was part of the natural environment (also the resort provides you with ear plugs for this very reason!). The wait times for food and drink from the bar were a bit slow, but we didn't have anywhere else to be so not really a problem.

Cannot recommend the overwater bungalows enough if travelling as a couple, they are extremely spacious and offer amazing views. A couple quick tips for this stay: - if you don’t want to spend too much on resort food, bring along snacks and drinks from the mainland! there are supermarkets and petrol stations nearby the port, stock up on items and you won’t be left leaving a bad review about the prices! - snorkelling with turtles seemed to have a prime time of around 10am, we saw 5 next to our bungalow in one snorkel session - keep your adjustable steps up when you aren’t using them, a friendly sea snake crawled up but he was nice enough to leave quickly

Nothing! Highly recommend booking the bungalows if you can. It would be tough with a large group, but as a couple it is a must do! Come prepared and you’ll have an amazing stay

It was very close to the water. The entire island is about 1km, so it is very easy to get around. It is very clean. Picturesque.

Australian Mastercard is not widely accepted and we did not know this until we have been asked to pay at the kiosk. (Visa is typical card used or cash). There could be microwave and stovetop included in the bungalows. I understand you are trying to encourage people to use the restaurant’s but sometimes the food on offer is repetitive or limited during the day. Guests who come for stays longer than 3 nights would appreciate being able to make a dish and have night in with their loved ones to make the Hilton feel like home away from home while enjoying all the other features. Other than that. The buffet was incredible. We loved all of the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you so much.

From the moment I checked in, everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. I stayed in an overwater bungalow, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Waking up to the sound of the water with spectacular marine wildlife was beyond amazing and having uninterrupted views right from my deck made it unforgettable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens were high quality, and the amenities elevated the experience even more. The quiet, relaxing atmosphere truly felt like a luxury retreat. Staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely return! Oh, lastly, the food was amazing and worth every penny.

Nothing. Loved Everything.

The room was exceptional, beautifully designed and appointed, with fabulous facilities and great little touches like USB charging points in several places and a great shower and separate toilet (yay!). The very helpful receptionists and reservations team that moved our booking one day earlier to fit in with a change of travel plans for us.

The meal options were a bit limited - either the 6000FR per head buffet, or a selection of small meals from the bar that were not the greatest value (the 'fish basket' and 'chicken basket' featured fish pieces or chicken nuggets that seemed to have been taken from a frozen pack and deep-fried).

Beautiful over water bungalows, turtles at our doorstep. Very comfortable bed! Staff were lovely and friendly. Variety of activities to pay to do. Good gym. Live music Saturday night at dinner. Great buffet Brekky, excellent omelette and pancake station.

Limited food and drink options, buffet only and one other cafe with a limited option for dinner (mostly just chips). Bath linen was poor quality. Limited room service options. Pool bar was closed the entire stay.

We stayed in an overwater bungalow which was amazing, the bungalow was really spacious with all the mod cons. And having access to the water and subsequent snorkelling off the bungalow stairs was great. With the ability to swim with turtles on a daily basis - which was our reality - a truly amazing experience!

The only constructive feedback I could provide is the limited food options available for lunch and dinner on the island. It would have been nice to have a bit more variety to select from regarding lunch and dinner options.
