Close to the beach and shops in the Waikiki area Loved Paia Seafood restaurant nearby. They gave us beach towels and refillable water bottles, which was much appreciated.

They kept only giving us bath towels for two when we booked for 3. It took three reminders to get towels the second time. We also asked for details about hiking Diamond's head at the beginning of our stay and no one told us you needed a timed reservation to enter so we paid an Uber for nothing. Basically, it seemed there was poor communication between staff.

The hotel is very nice, the staff is super friendly, and the room is very tidy and clean. It's a great place to stay! The location is absolutely amazing.

I believe there is a room service fee of around $20 per day, and I wasn't fully aware before I booked. I only stayed for a short period, so it wasn't a big deal for me, but if you are planning to stay longer, this might need to be considered. Also, the parking lot is very tight and hard to navigate.

The rooms we got were the partial ocean view rooms so a little bit more expensive than the lower floors. However most of the view was over the airconditioning ducts of building next door . This did not bother us too much however we couldn't leave balcony doors open as the noise from the airconditioning units was deafening. We would much rather stayed at lower level floors at the cheaper rate. We didn't think the upper level floors offered value for money.

The location was unbeatable. The newly renovated rooms where really nice and we enjoyed the option of dipping into the pool in the evening (thought it would have been nice if the pool closed at 10:00 pm and not 9:00 pm). Having experienced both the city view and the ocean view, I enjoyed the city view more as it was quieter and still nice where we were situated.

Unfortunately, the wifi was very poor outside the lobby. Also, we had some issues with maintenance of the loo. This then required us to change rooms in the middle of the day, which is a hassle when you only spend little time in O'ahu.

Great location in the heart of Waikiki with only 10 minutes walk to the beach. Bus stop directly in front of the hotel to easily reach Honololu, Diamond Head and the airport. Staff was very friendly and changed our first room in the 4th floor (view was to the backfront of a parking lot and it was very loud) within 24 hours to a room in the 11th floor, which looked exactly as in the pictures. It was very clean and we liked the water refill station and the morning coffee in the lobby. One beach bag and two refillable bottles were given as a gift by the hotel.

Parking in the hotel's parking lot is $40/day and the entrance/exit is very small! Nothing else to complain about!

The location was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. We also really appreciated the reusable bottle and the option to refill it at the station on the ground floor — a very practical and eco-friendly touch.

The soundproofing was poor. We could hear everything from the next room through a connecting door, which made it difficult to sleep at night. When we mentioned it at the reception, the only suggestion was to call security — it didn’t feel like a very helpful solution. Luckily, the noisy neighbors checked out after three nights. Additionally, there was a loud ventilation system on the building opposite the seaside-facing rooms, which added to the noise. Overall, the hotel offers very good value for the price, especially if you're not too sensitive to noise.

Comfy beds, great location, liked that it had a pool, Rosa from housekeeping was so friendly and did an amazing job cleaning the room (I wanted to give her a tip but didn’t have any US dollars).

Didn’t like that the cups in the room were disposable and wrapped in plastic - very bad for the environment and pointless when ceramic cups work better, lots of road noise, big gaps under bedroom doors meant I could hear so much noise from the corridor even other people in their rooms!

Great renovated hotel in walking distance to nice shops, restaurants, cafes and two beaches - both Waikiki and Fort Derussy. The beds were very comfortable. My only issue was the poor sound insulation both towards the street and towards the hallway so you can hear lound traffick and sirens at night as well as slamming doors from other rooms.

Great Location, Great Staff, Rooms were clean and for the most part, very well maintained ( The saltwater and air is hard on buildings) Fridge and coffeemaker , free coffee in the morning downstairs, we used the filtered water station downstairs and beach towels all the time. The pool and hot tub are small, clean, perfect for families with small children just looking for some quiet time between beach and meals. More than excellent value, it was a lovely experience, it was Aloha. We will be back.

Just a heads up that Honolulu is a big city: 1.2 million (1.5 with tourists) in a condensed area, so you are going to get all the sounds that come with a big city, especially at 3 - 4 in the morning.
