I booked a handicapped accessible room, and I was very impressed with the room. Many places advertise that it's handicapped accessible but, when you get to the actual rooms they are not. This room was very spacious, a great roll in shower in a large size bathroom and the room was designed so well. They had a doorbell on the room and inside the room a light would light up and the door its self-had two peep holes. One for (standing people) and one lower for those who are in wheelchairs such as myself. I also require a lift to bring along because I'm paralyzed and there was plenty of room for the lift to fit. The lift was able to go under the bed so I could get in properly. Very impressed.

The pool water was cold from what I understand, and I don't recall seeing a lift for handicapped people to use. That would've been a nice upgrade to your facility.

This is a great place to stay for one or two nights as tourist if you are discovering the New England states and want to see more than just the coast. Orono Bog Boardwalk is a few minutes from the hotel and I strongly recommend to visit it. The staff was extraordinary kind. The extra bed for our child was quickly delivered and more comfortable than the usual sofa beds. The pool was great, nice warm temperature. Breakfast facilities were comfortable sofas near the lobby. Breakfast contained the usual options in the US. In the surroundings are numerous options to get something for dinner.

First of all, I was a little forgetful during the departure of my trip, and the staff were efficient, kind, and helpful during that time. The bathroom was spacious, and something notable was that full-size shampoo, conditioner, and lotion bottles were provided rather than the super small bottles. As someone with a lot of hair, that is super helpful! If I had known that, I wouldn't have brought my own. Another (less relevant) thing I loved was the pillows. The whole bed was comfortable, but the fluffy pillow was amazing. I had a great night sleep. The whole hotel was above par on cleanliness from my experience. Overall, the experience was easy and comfortable! I would definitely visit again/recommend it to others.

I had the pool by myself for a few hours.

There were no gluten free /dairy free options The eggs had cheese in them. I questioned the staff, they said no. The front desk did say they should have had GF bread but they must have been out. They should have on hand in the freezer some gluten free bagel, muffins or donuts or have GF cereal options.

Beautiful property, the room felt upscale. The shower and bathroom was amazing

The hot tub was broken for the foreseeable future. I did not like the tv streaming in the room. You had to still pay to subscribe to Netflix or other services. Also there wasn’t a way to control the ac in the room. When we got there, it was set at 65, which is chilly for our family, we set the thermostat to 68. 10 mins later it was back at 65.

1. The gym had a Peloton! And a good set of hand weights. too. 2. I'd love plain greek yogurt added to your breakfast options, but the other options were varied and plentiful. 3. Mini fridge in the room. 4. Special treats for me, a Hilton Honors Gold member.

Would have liked plain scrambled eggs without the peppers.

My only complaint is how easily I could hear the people next to us all night long. After 4 hours, I was finally forced to call the front desk at 1:30 a.m. to complain after they woke our kids up for a 4th time. The front desk staff did call the room immediately and asked them to keep the noise level down. Unfortunately, that only made it worse but they did finally quiet down shortly after 2 a.m.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We asked for a cot and it was the nicest cot we have ever used. The breakfast was really good as well. Lots of options

The only complaint I have is the pool. I feel the chemicals were a little overkill. We were only in there at the absolute most 15 minutes and my eyes were burning and I did not swim, was simply in the room. My daughter and nephew who are teens started suddenly coughing pretty bad due to the air quality. After this experience I remembered another Hampton Inn we had stayed at about 10 years ago actually bleached all of our bathing suits after we used the pool. So this was slightly disappointing

Breakfast was good, a variety of items to choose from. Didn't like how strong the coffee was.

We weren't able to get into the pool area, the door was malfunctioning. Maintenance eventually fixed it. Found the coffee to be very strong. Had to add hot water to water it down. The coffee station near the front desk ran out of coffee cups...I informed them and they replenished them.

The handicapped toilet was too low and very difficult to get off even with the grab bar. Handicapped rooms should all have the roll in showers with two beds because most handicapped people have someone for assistance. In the future when renovating or adding handicapped rooms it should be set up with the grab bars to the right of the toilet because like myself the majority of people are right handed.
