Staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool was fine, especially for kids who just love to swim. The breakfast was actually quite decent but just a normal continental breakfast, nothing crazy. The rooms were spacious and fantastic. Very clean. Excellent value for what we got. I needed a bed for each person in my party (2 teens and a pre teen plus me) and we weren't right on top of each other, had space and that helped make the trip extremely enjoyable. Location was also perfect.

Minor things - fridge in the king room suddenly stopped working halfway through - for us it was fine because we had the ajoining room with a fridge. The temperature of the shower that was in the jetted tub was super hard to regulate. The pool floor was very rough and kids feet got rather cut up. Major thing - there was a man peering at the kids in the pool several times, lurking around the pool, coming over and just standing and watching. He did it several times over several days so just monitor your kids closely.

I have booked two weeks in a row at this hotel due to needing to be close to UNC Medical Center. Every single staff member has been welcoming, helpful, and always available. I booked the king suites both times with the whirlpool tub because I love a good soaking tub! Both of the king suites I stayed in were spacious with a mini bar/sink area including a small fridge and microwave with plenty of storage. The king size bed was very comfortable with soft clean linens and the blackout curtains made it extra cozy. There were two nice flatscreen tvs in the room, one in the living room area across from the sleeper sofa and one in the bedroom. There was also a nice desk and chair with plenty of lighting options throughout all of the rooms. The bathroom was very spacious with the very large whirlpool tub/ shower that has me wanting to remodel my bathroom at home honestly! The location was perfect for me because I was close to UNC but also there is a large shopping center right across the road, very close to several restaurants- I personally had takeout from Outback and Kanki Japanese restaurant (both within walking distance) and both places were great! The hotel hallways always smelled very clean and I felt safe using parking and all the facilities as a solo traveling female which is very important to me. I would and probably will be staying here again. Definitely my top choice for value, safety, cleanliness & comfort.

The location was perfect for the event we attended. The hot breakfast was delicious.

Upon booking I had requested a roll-away bed or cot. I informed the gentleman upon checking in and he said he'd bring it up as soon as he had some relief. It was never brought. I asked for it again the next morning and that evening. We never received the roll-away bed and kept getting different excuses as to why they couldn't or would but never did.

The afternoon front desk was business like but not cordial. The morning staff was pleasant. The bottom of bathroom door was splintered which looks shabby. A plastic strip across the bottom would have been an easy fix. Breakfast bar was fine but staff should have cleaned up items on the floors and crumbs on the counter during the morning service.

The front desk attendant was very helpful. The property is older and a bit worn in places but the interior was apparently renovated somewhat recently so it was nice enough. The location is great.

Nothing really. Any changes or updates to the interior that would be nice would come with an increase in room prices. So, it’s fine.

The room was very clean. The shower was wonderful. Plenty of nice towels. Blankets were soft and enough pillows as well. And checking in was so easy. It was a last minute booking due to a major power outage and the young man working the desk did an amazing job . And the breakfast was great as well

The bed seemed to be worn in the middle. Like a big dip in the middle. But it did what it needed to do.

The room was great. It was in a good location. We enjoyed our trip.

With a 12:00 PM checkout time, we were in the process of packing up and were called 20 minutes before checkout saying the housekeeping said we still have things in the room. Besides that the staff was great.

The breakfast was awesome as was the staff which oversaw it. I felt secure at this location. Good location - near everything we needed or wanted. Liked that we had the option to skip room cleaning since we were only there for two nights.

Toilet paper was ultra fine grade of sand paper. It could be upgraded to something a bit better.

If I need something like tissue, i have to come ask instead of someone bringing it, and you all don't have extra clean blankets. The food needs to be a lot better hot and serve bacon as well

Good sized suite. The rooms were quiet considering how many people were staying there - the only noise we heard was water in the pipes. Comfortable beds. Great location.

Nothing really that they could help- lots of people for the free breakfast but they had plenty of room.
