The location is great with the Gold Souk metro (get a Gold metro card), bus interchange & supermarket across the road. Also, walking distance to the Gold Souk, Grand Souk Deir, Spice Souk and the abra for travel across the creek to Bur Dubai to the Textile Souk and Al Fahidi historical district. The one bedroom apartments are spacious with 2 TV & some good english TV stations. We tried the KP Chai eatery downstairs (not the inhouse restaurant) & found it good with a reasonable price. Papa Johns Pizza is close by and was good. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept on including my own bed at home. The reception staff were very helpful, attentive & good at problem solving especially Gail.

There were not any tea towels or wiping up cloths provided. So take these with you along with paper towels, dishwashing tablets and washing machine powder. Also, there were not any good sized soup/cereal bowls provided. We had to ask & eventually they were borrowed from the restaurant. A drying rack for slightly wet clothes from the dryer would have been useful. Not a lot of dropping off space in front of hotel but it did not cause a problem for us. There is a 300 dirhams deposit (100AED for studio rooms) which is quickly refunded on departure. This can be paid in cash or credit card. However, this is not indicated in any of the hotel information.

At customer service counter they tried to get security money from me when I had paid and booked all in advance. it was surprising and embarrassment that why he was asking for security money when everything was fully paid in advance. luckily my card didn't work and then he said its ok you don't need to pay security money.

My kids loved this hotel. Highlights - big, clean, modern rooms with super views (we had a room on the 10th floor); the restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was great. We had the Christmas Eve buffet and dinner on a couple of other nights and every time the food was good. The live music (from ex Indian Idol participant Areeb) made our dinners even more special - they even take requests and sing your favourite songs. The location was great with lots of good restaurants around the hotel, right next to Gold Souk Metro station and taxis easily available. The infinity swimming pool was a big hit with the kids - you get lovely views towards the ocean and Sharjah. Housekeeping was prompt at fulfilling our requests.

The reception area was a bit simple and underwhelming- but everything else was great. There’s a tour operator at the reception who can help you book activities at decent prices.

Everything was excellent from the reception staff to the service staff and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed the pool, the view and the breakfast. People whose names we got who deserve a mention were; - ALI who walked us out the first night to show us the best way to go to Gold Souk. - GAIL and TOURAB, who’s always ready to help us when we wanted some suggestions and recommendations. - DIVINA, like the others, attentive, professional and very welcoming - the Restaurant Lady who always wonderfully welcoming, ensuring superb service to all the guest. I like how friendly the staff are after having a bad experience with a popular hotel where the staff asked us to leave while we were eating dinner because it was my partner's birthday, even after explaining to them that my friends will just have dinner and will not stay the night, but still they insisted we leave otherwise pay 200aed per head which was absolutely ridiculous, it was a night of traumatic experience we had to leave and had to go to our friends apartment instead which was a shame. It was hard to find a hotel that wont do the same because if the trauma. Luckily we found Adagio Hotel and ever since we always book them.

Nothing. Everything is perfect.

Very spacious and we had views of the sea. The location is spot on because you are steps away from the Gold Souk metro station but also you can wander 5 mins on foot down to the creek to see bridges, boats and even spot the Burj K light show! Both rooms were a good size and we did not hear any noisy guests or the traffic. Don’t let the 8 lane road put you off!

Some guests seemed to smoke in the bathroom and the smell filtered down but we heard the reception staff trying to enforce no smoking. There was no kettle and no tea/coffee provided which would have been nice.

We (Couple and a kid) stayed there for 7 nights. We booked studio room with balcony. Overall experience was great. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. Stanley was also very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious neat and clean. The location was really good, we had great eating options just below the hotel. And used to wander around on the street till mid night. Just outside was the mart and pharmacy too. Hotel was really close to the gren line gold souq metro station. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to others as well.

Quite nice and comfortable apartment. Enough space, big comfortable bed, equipped kitchen. Parking is also available for free. It's located in Deira, which doesn't seem to be the best and most convenient part of Dubai, but nevertheless this neighborhood is quite good, Gold Souq is pretty near, and metro station in just a couple minutes from the hotel. Reception is open 24h, the staff is nice and helpful.

Although the balcony looks pretty good and the view from it is nice, honestly, I expected a bit more from the view. Maybe some other rooms have a better view. Also, a bit more kitchen utensils would be convenient.

The studio was well equipped. The washing machine was a great addition. Air conditioner worked well. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Fully recommended. Staff was super nice. The restaurant staff in particular (Aletta and Khine) were amazing. They had a tour info desk in the reception which was quite useful, be sure to talk with they guys in there. There was a supermarket nearby. Great restaurants nearby. Metro station is close but you're probably better off using taxis since they're quite cheap in Dubai.

Furniture was a bit stained. We asked for twin beds which were provided but were short on single bed sheets. Still the guy was able to find one for us. We once asked in reception to make up our room but they only organized it a little bit and did not clean. And they took our single bed sheet and replaced with one for a full bed. Which was not useful at all. Hotel is a bit far from the center. Close to the Gold Souk however.

The property is clean, in town, a lot of restaurants and convenient stores walking distance. Metro station just like 2 minutes walk... Staff very kind and helpful. Almost everything you need for your stay you have in the room. The pool is very clean. The gym is good and useful. Ample parking space if you have a car... I got a room with balcony that has the city view and I like it. I guess next time in Dubai, I'll be in Adagio again.

The room could be a little larger. And a clothes drying rack would be very much appreciated
