The location, staff, and food were excellent. The reception graciously delivered our breakfast to our rooms, even though it was supposed to be served in the restaurant. Every interaction with the staff was smooth and positive. We also saw more animals in the summer than expected.

The cleanliness of the room could have been better; we found trash from previous guests under the couch. The villa we stayed in (Villa 316) had views of other villas on the sides, which detracted from the feeling of desert seclusion. Additionally, the neighbors were loud, which, although not the hotel's fault, might be a result of the villa layout.

I loved the location and ambience . The staff are all warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble from the room chambermaids, to the room service/dining. The reception are all friendly, professional and efficient and the welcoming team (I must mention Hussein who was lovely and always had a smile on his face) and the men that drive the buggies are polite, friendly and well informed- I really can’t complain! Thank you for marking my birthday - a lovely touch. The rainforest experience is something you must try and the gazelles and camels wandering about is mesmerising! Location is amazing. Villa was amazing.

Spa is outdated. The fixtures are not up to standard, not clean and not 100% functional. The hydro pool jets are not all functional. The heated relaxation beds were not functioning. For a Ritz Carlton property, it was quite surprising to see. Many of the menu items were not available which was very disappointing.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and attentiveness. The service was impeccable, and we genuinely felt that every need was anticipated and met. A special thank you to Mani, Danish, and Joshi from the F&B team, who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Their friendliness and professionalism truly stood out, and they made our dining experiences exceptional. Thank you to the entire Ritz-Carlton team for a wonderful stay – we can't wait to return!

My kids are five and eight and it was just the three of us on this trip - we had the best time! We stayed in a pool villa, which is so worth it, as you're not restricted to the big pool. Everything is quite far, so we biked everywhere or got the buggy. The staff were all excellent and made sure we were comfortable at all times - everyone from the valet to the restaurant staff. The activities are a bit pricey but its worth doing a few things. We did the horse riding and the caretakers were really nice too. All in all, a wonderful stay and I'd definitely recommend it. I can't wait to go back.

I wouldn’t say the check-in was fast, but it was more or less tolerable. Usually, in five-star hotels, this process is slightly smoother. I’d like to highlight the delicious breakfasts – truly excellent. The property itself and the bird show, which is included in the stay, are absolutely wonderful. The villas are spacious and well-sized. Unfortunately, the air conditioning couldn’t be turned off, and we had to wake up early so we wouldn’t catch a cold. The mattresses were also very soft, which was a bit uncomfortable. But the cherry on top was when, during checkout, we were told we had to pay for nuts from the minibar – even though there were no nuts in the minibar and we didn’t use it at all. When you’re paying almost 3,000 AED per night, being charged for imaginary nuts leaves a bitter aftertaste. In my opinion, it would be better if there were no minibar at all, just to avoid issues like this. We stayed in one of the Al Rimal Villas which was a great space for us. The heated pool was the star of the show, was so happy to be able to play with our 4 month old in the water even in cold January! It was my husband’s birthday and the staff added great touches to our stay.

We loved everything but it would have been better to have more restaurants. Zuma has horrible reviews online and it took ages to connect to the restaurant to even book. The Farmhouse restaurant was great and their buffet was very good for lunch and dinner. Paddock cafe had nice options for afternoon tea. Just even one more restaurant would have been great.

Only issue was the pillow selection was not great. They only seemed to have thick ones, no matter if they were firm or soft. I would have liked thin firm ones as an option upon request but they didn't have.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, we were treated with exceptional care. The peaceful atmosphere and the warm, approachable, and welcoming staff made our experience even more special. Dinner at The Farmhouse was absolutely delightful—they went above and beyond by decorating our table with roses and an anniversary card.
