Kate was a wonderful host, extremely welcoming and very helpful. The house was immaculate, our room was huge with beautiful furnishings, a very comfortable bed and a very well appointed bathroom (definitely the best towels of the holiday!). Breakfast was very well cooked and absolutely delicious. The icing on the cake for me was being able to play Kate’s gorgeous piano - a real treat.

Loved it all and would definitely stay again in the future.

Very Peaceful and beautiful location. placed in a picturesque village surrounded by outstanding natural beauty. This charming property displayed a wonderfully balanced contrast between preserved old original fixtures and a modern look. The host was very friendly, making us feel very welcome and safe. The room was beyond comfortable and very spacious. We were extremely impressed with the high standard of decoration inside and out. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious, it was all ready for us within the scheduled time and included a variety of options and high quality food. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

The room was spacious, immaculately clean, comfortable and quiet. The cooked breakfast was well cooked and very well presented. A good range of elements was included - all of a good standard. The house itself is elegant and the owner was extremely helpful

The only slight negative was that there is nowhere to eat in Blackford in the evening as the local pub is not doing food - though an excellent pub. However, this meant that we travelled by local bus to nearby Auchterarder where we ate at the excellent Delivino's which was far superior to any pub meal.

The warm welcome, the ease and clarity of everything, the attention to detail....nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast encompassed everything you could want, tasted delicious and was served in a relaxed and comfortable setting. The bed was huge and comfy with lovely Egyptian cotton sheets and the room was spotlessly clean.

The sink in the ensuite was awkward to stand at to clean your teeth, due to it's proximity to the toilet.

The property is absolutely stunning, flooded with natural light & the rooms are so spacious. The bigger of our two rooms was more like a suite, and both beds were super comfortable. The breakfast that Kate laid out for us was amazing, with plenty of choice & lots of tea, coffee & juice. We had such a lovely time & look forward to returning next time we’re in the area.

Couldn’t fault a thing, fantastic stay

Attentive host and easy check in. The room was spacious, attractive, quiet, and clean. We were very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and satisfying. The host, again, was friendly and attentive. We had dinner in another town not too far away that was excellent. Middleton House was just a night stopover on our way to other places but it served us very well.

Needed a car to get to next village for dining in an evening. Nothing within walking distance but next Village offered some great options.

It’s a gracious house and our room was large, well appointed and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Kate provides an excellent breakfast and good recommendations for what to do.

Our only slight misgiving was that you have to drive several miles to find somewhere to eat in the evening, as there are no pubs or restaurants in Blackford itself.

Lovely building in a cute village, quite close to Stirling. The room was comfortable, immaculate and well-equipped. Breakfast has been delicious with various options, perfect start for a day. Kate was super kind but also discrete. We would come back again definitely.

Nothing, everything was perfect

The house is absolutely stunning and so was our room. Kate was so lovely and helpful even though we only arrived very late due to a flat tyre! The place is so clean and airy with gorgeous decor and facilities. Couldn't have asked for more!
