We had a great time at Alpine Cottage. Someone wrote a weird review saying that the room was not clean and we could not disagree more. The host goes out of her way to ensure everything is spotless every morning, and even asked us if we wanted our room cleaned in the morning while we were out. Both dining room, kitchen, room and staircase are constantly in great condition. So don’t trust every review you see, especially when the majority says this place is a gem. We absolutely loved the fresh flowers the host placed around the room and the dining area, they make such a big difference and brighten up the place even more. We asked if we could receive vegan options for breakfast and we got some delicious vegan food every morning, so we much appreciated her efforts to make sure our stay was comfortable and satisfying. Beds also very comfortable. Highly recommended!

We liked everything :)

The property was easy to find and relatively well located for restaurants and bars. The property was well furnished and very clean. The room we had was spacious with sufficient facilities to match all our needs. It was very tastefully decorated. The breakfast was superb - exactly what is needed first thing in the morning as it sets you up for the day ahead. “Mine host” was a charming lady that was extremely pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

There was no designated parking area at the property however there was sufficient street parking adjacent to it.

Alpine Cottage was homely and smart and the host Hilary was friendly and easy to talk to. The Property is conveniently situated to all necessary amenities and even though it is on a main road you can't hear much noise at all. There is handy nearby parking and our recent stay was excellant. Would definitely recommend this property.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this property our stay was Perfect.

It was easy to find. The location was excellent. Pub nearby had good food and was friendly. Was easy to reach my location the following morning. The lady who owned the accomodation was friendly and welcoming. As I had to leave before brecfast, a sandwich was provided for me. All in all, It was a very good stay. I would recomomend staying if you are in the area.

Nothing, everything was fine

Hilary was lovely and welcoming. She made the time to help us settle in to the room, checked when would work for us for breakfast, and even checked we were ok for dinner and helped us reserve a table at a restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and the room was cosy while being a comfortable space for two people to move about in. A lovely first experience of a BnB for me, it's set a high bar.

Hilary made my daughter and myself very welcome in her beautiful cosy cottage. Lovely clean room, plenty towels and toiletries. Hot water bottles were a lovely touch. We were given our choice of time for breakfast and Hilary was happy to customise our cooked breakfast, which was very tasty. We stayed on a very cold windy night and were very snug in our cozy room.

There was nothing not to like.

Everything! The warm, cosy and tastefully decorated room, the Polish pottery at breakfast, the delicious breakfast (even got vegetarian at last minute), the proximity to town and restaurants and the lovely lovely host and her gorgeous cottage! She gave us great advice for walking in the region.

This is a gorgeous place to stay! The room was styled beautifully, and was very welcoming. Everything was finished to a high standard, with lovely artwork and details, quality kettle and hairdryer, with a spacious bedroom and modern en suite. Although it is on a main road, the road was very quiet during the night, and it was handy to have the grocery story over the road. Delicious breakfast, wonderful hostess! A perfect place to stay and we'd certainly go back next time!

Super convenient location near the bus routes and supermarket, but still super quiet at night. Lovely cosy room, spacious bathroom and comfy bed. Very friendly host but also they gave you space to make yourself feel at home. A perfect location as a wedding guest for Comrie Croft!

Close to town centre, Hilary the host was lovely. She messaged beforehand to find out our time of arrival and any dietary requirements and I asked a question about parking nearby. Comfortable bed. Everything thought of for a comfortable stay. Full Scottish breakfast in the morning including cereal, tea or coffee and toast and orange juice. Overall, an excellent host and cottage.

Very small point...one of the bins hadn't been emptied from the previous guest and a small plant on the bathroom shelf was needing revived. The light on the bedroom console wasn't working or I couldn't figure it out.
