The location is great. Beadnell is a lovely village. Hotel was clean and comfortable. My room was a good size and had everything I needed. The pub was very busy and might be an idea to book a table for dinner on weekends. Breakfast was excellent - very good quality and staff were lovely. Also very dog friendly.

Not really a huge problem but as a first time visitor the hotel check in was a bit unclear and I ended up asking one of the bar staff who were already very busy.

Room was very big, with a fabulous bathroom and shower, easy parking, breakfast staff very helpful. Everything was very clean.

We had room 1, which is slightly below ground level so our view was of a car park and peoples legs. Signage for the hotel could be better, we missed the turning off the main road, and then missed the car park - but it is a small quiet place so easy to go back on yourself once you realise you have missed a turning.

Lovely location, comfortable bed and pillows , large private room away from the popular bar/restaurant, friendly approachable staff members. Big smiles at dinner and breakfast. Request for check in time agreed, and 11am check out very civilised. Huge portions for dinner, delicious sticky toffee pudding. No wonder it was so busy, recommend booking. Fantastic outdoor seating area with individual huts. Although we didn’t have a dog, it was great to see so many dogs getting a great welcome and being treated to sausage at breakfast.

A minor point for me personally, I was disappointed that there was no fruit available at breakfast to have with my yoghurt. Lots of choice for hot breakfast for anyone who likes cooked items though.

Other people’s breakfast looked great! The room was excellent and the bed really comfortable It was also great to be able to walk out in the evening along the beach

Our breakfast kippers were overcooked and dry. Maybe done in the microwave? The full English breakfast other people had looked much better ! The evening meal was far more “ pub grub” than we anticipated and sadly we really didn’t enjoy it

Great location, lovely bar area. Room was clean and comfortable. Meal at night was good, breakfast was fantastic, filled us up for the day. Staff were brilliant, so friendly and welcoming.

The only downside was the shower. We had the suite, which was nice and big, but the shower was a small corner cubicle. Very little room to wash, and the shower head could not be taken down as the hose was too thick to come off the holder.

We have stayed in The Craster Arms many times and it is our 'go to' Hotel in what is our favourite area in the UK. The hotel is always spotless, the rooms are lovely and big for our dogs, and the food is great too. The outside Beer Garden is fantastic and there is always a great atmosphere; especially when they have live music on

Everything was great......although an earlier check in would be nice; as 3pm is a bit later than most places we stay in

The Pub was fantastic and very good local beer, the meals were fab and the breakfast was wonderful. We stayed for 3 nights for a family wedding (in a local village).

The room we staying in was not as shown on the web page, the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a bit on the flat side. To use the kettle and tea/coffee facilities you had to kneel no the floor!!. The wall under the window had a hole in it and one of the blinds was not in place although the fixtures were still hanging down !! There was no thermostat control on the radiators in the bedroom and the bathroom was not working correctly and was boiling hot 24/7.

The location is excellent, close to sandy beaches, all local attractions and with public transport available on the doorstep should you fancy a trip out without the car. The food is of an excellent standard as is the beer. Dog friendly and a gorgeous beer garden. The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. A special thanks to the morning/ breakfast staff who make sure you start the day on a high note.

Food was excellent and staff worked exceptionally hard given how busy they were everyday. Location was ideal for golf courses we visited.

Mattress was a little soft but other than that all our needs were met. Room was large and when we needed that extra space to dry out our golf kit it was ideal.

Range of food available, particularly the Craster Kippers! We ate in the bar on our 1st evening (fish and chips) which we enjoyed. Staff were all helpful and pleasant.

We had a cooked breakfast of the 2nd morning (Stayed over two days), better quality sausages would improve the plate. Maybe offer a list of food items from which to choose?! Also, the outside door to the rooms was broken when we arrived and did not get repaired at any point during our stay though it was reported immediately and looked at the next morning by a tradesman.
